Holiday Inn Express Tres Cantos

Stayed in this hotel on a business trip. Never being abroad on my own before I was very nervous especially not speaking the language and it not being a tourist area. I arrived by taxi and at once was made to feel very welcome.
The staff were fantastic and all spoke English to my relief. The hotel itself is on a complex of office buildings (ideal for me working 2 buildings away). The complex closed at night apart from 1 bar and had security on the gates so you could wander safely, and it was very quiet. The rooms were very large consisting of 2 beds, TV satellite, cool box and telephone. The bathroom was large with a bath and shower and soap dispensers containing dove and lux moisturizing soap.
They were cleaned and towels replaced every day. Train Station and supermarket were less than 5 minutes walking distance. Every week on the main street they have a huge market where you can buy absolutely anything a lot cheaper than home. If I had to go back I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anybody.
