What a brilliant time we had at the Hotel Private, the service we had was second to none, the only fault with this hotel was the pool, which was quite deep. When we arrived we were met in a very friendly way, though as the two weeks passed, the staff were like brothers and... more

Fab Location
Recently just come back from the Private Hotel Icmeler & have already started looking at prices for next year. Group of 4 Girls ages from 25 up to 40, we stayed for 7 Nights on a B&B basis. The hotel reception staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels. Overall the hotel was small, friendly and very clean. The hotel serves a typical turkish breakfast of eggs, cereals, breads & jams ect ect, if this is not your kind of thing you can purchase a full english from the resturant next door for just over £1. The hotel has a spacious pool area, with plenty of sun loungers all with mattresses and a well stocked pool bar. The hotel provides inflatables for the pool which came in handy as the pool is fairly deep and does not have a shallow end, however it does have a baby paddling pool. The main advantage staying at the hotel private is the fab location right in the middle of the resort centre surrounded by fab resturants, shops and bars. A short stroll down the canal which runs through the resort and past the Private will lead you to the beach, where you can book a variety of excursion or take part in the extensive watersports programme on offer. Next door to the private is the Irish Bar where they have fab themed nights or to the front of the hotel you will find the dream boys resturant where again they have themed nights, fab cocktails and great food.. Even though the hotel is close to many resturants and bars we never experienced any noise disturbance as all the outside bars have to shut the music off at midnight on the dot. Some rooms are small at the private hotel so if you are looking at more space book and family room, but if your like us and only use your hotel room as a base to sleep then a twin room will be fine. Overall fab holiday at the private, good standards, fab location and very friendly.
grat location
The Hotel Private is in a great location in Icmeler, idea for the beach and all the restuarants. Situated next to the canal which runs through the resort. Although in a busy area noise is not a problem. Beach is about 5 minute walk away. Breakfast is a typical Turkish breakfast bread, jam, tomatoes olives etc but if this is not your thing it is quite easy to eat at any one of the restuarants in the area at a reasonable price. Some rooms are a little bit small, but unless you entend to spend your days stuck in your room this shouldn't be too much of a problem. Hotel really clean, staff very friendly and will do all that they can to help should you have any problems. Pool area can be a little bit slippery. Pool is quite deep throughout but very clean. Sunbeds available every day and all with cushions. Overall a really good time was had in icmeler, if you go you must visit the dreamboys restuarant a great night out.
