Private Hotel

after staying at the private for the last 3 years i was sad to see the awful state it was in the bar stools had backs that had been broken off the bar staff had worn the same clothes for the full week i was there,the drinks were watered down ie vodka ,bacardi.The rooms had not been re painted in the last 3 years,around the pool area was never was never swept or washed food that had been droped around this area was never cleaned up needless to say i wont be staying there next year.

Just returned from 2 weeks staying at Hotel Private, been going to Icmeler for the last 13 years staying at various hotels/apartments and have to say this was one of the best. Location, cleanliness, friendliness was 9/10. Thomas, Chris and Ryan great guys and very trust worthy. Always landed back there at end of night as drinks were 2 for 1, great value and Thomas kept us entertained. Reception staff very friendly and room cleaned daily.

we stayed at the private for 2weeks we had maid service everyday and clean towels most days but the floor was not swept or moped in the 2 weeks and we got a clean sheet on are 10th day.
the hotel is right in the middle of everything and the loud music would go down at 12am but then go back up 10mins later till early hours when police came round.
the breakfast was awfull and you were not allowed to bring any food or drink from the outside in to the hotel witch made it difficult for us having 2 small children and trying to stick to a budget.
the older staff at the hotel were very nice but the younger boys they had working there were very rude and made you feel uncomftable.
the hotel is scruffy and needs a total make over and it is some where i won't be going back to.

me and my husband just came back from turkey after staying in the private hotel, the hotel was ok but the room we stayed in was'nt very nice at all but apart from that we had a lovely time, it was are frist time in turkey and we are looking to go back hopefully in september.

My partner and I booked with some reservation as to what to expect from Turkey. After checking in at 2330 hours we proceeded to the Pool Bar. We were immediately welcomed by the car staff who it has to be said were fantastic throughout the whole 2 weeks that we stayed. The hotel food was excellent as were all of the staff.
The hotel is ideally located for everything. A wonderful holiday and a certainty for our holiday next year.
Villa Kontes is a must for a meal, and only a few yards from the front entrance. See if you can spot Mr Alfihad serving and watch out for that cheeky chap ZaZa -"I'm your cousin you know".

Family Of 4 (2 Adults,2 Teenagers 13,14) We Had A Great Time Here We Stayed For 2 Weeks And Would Defentley Recommend it ,Its Was Very Central To Everything.The Staff Are Very Friendly. Theres A Cafe Oppisite That You Can Get A Full English Breakfast For A Pound.
The rooms Are Basic But Very Clean. The Only Thing Is That The Pool Is Very Deep Both Ends But It Does Have A Very Samll Baby Pool.
ICMELER: Its Has Lots Of Shops And Bars Local For The NightLife And In The Day Its Very Peaceful And Has A Relaxing Atmosphere. :D

My mate and I stayed at the Private in September for 10 days.
I have been to Icmeler many times but would not stay at the Hotel Private again.
We had booked and paid for 2 single rooms, but on arrival the very surly guy on reception tried to put us in a twin room, which we obviously refused. He eventually found another vacant room for us ( this was unbelievable since we had booked the rooms months in advance ! ), but it wasn't quite ready so we had breakfast first and then were given our keys. To be fair, the rooms were quite spacious and very clean, but that is probably as complimentary as I can be about the hotel. The staff were miserable, apart from the lad who ran the pool bar, he was quite chirpy. The breakfast was probably the worst I have had had in any hotel in Turkey, the bread was always rock hard, and was certainly not fresh every day.
When we came to the end of our holiday, the private transfer we had booked didn't turn up. We phoned several numbers but couldn't get through to anyone as it was 11.30 in the evening. The guy on reception was just about as useful as an ash tray on a motorbike, and did nothing to help until I got quite irate, then he phoned a number for us and said that a coach would pick us up shortly.
All in all Icmeler is a fantastic resort with great restaurants and bars etc, but the Hotel Private would not be high on my list for the future.

icemeler in turkey was lovely. the private hotel was very friendly the hotel was clean apart from the rooms! very shabby,the towels were changed every day but they were still dirty, the bed linen was terrible sheets were changed but put on the beds damp also stained! the bathroom was mouldy. the maid was very nice . the hotel itself was very noisy outside the irish bar was so loud until 12.30am and i mean loud!!!! wasn't to bad for us as we stayed out late but just to warn you if you are thinking of going to bed early forget it!! will go back to icemeler again but not that hotel.

I have been fortunate enough to stay the season in Içmeler town and spend much of my time at the Hotel Private. So I will give you a brief tour.
The Hoşgeldinis(welcome) at the spacious cool comfortable reception is exactly what you would expect from the warm friendly staff that manage the reception which is manned 24 hours a day with a smile. Always happy to help and point you in the right direction.
Through the reception are the 2 lifts which take you to comfortable rooms with everything you need to make your stay one to remember.
Back down and through the airy dining room with hot and cold food available all day you are met by a large pool with ample sunbeds and umberellas and a friendly bar with a great atmosphere which will serve you cool drinks until the early hours of the morning.
The clients at the Hotel Private are warm friendly and a pleasure to spend time with. ooooh and don,t forget, the Turkish Night on a Thursday Night is an exceptional evening of excellent BBQ food and Traditional Dancers with Folk dances from all over the country.
A high recommendation from myself and worth checking in.
Local ameneties include a 2 minute walk to the taxis, local dolmush a 5 minute walk to the beach. Excellent bars and restaurants and 2 nightclubs in the area for dancers no more that 5 minutes away. The local Turkish bath takes aroun 4 minutes to get to and the scenery in the mountains is staggering. 10 minutes to the local harbour where you can get a water taxi to Turunch and Marmaris. come and visit but you must book early as it is almost always full with some people coming twice year.
A friendly atmosphere with excellent staff right from reception, the kitchen, the bar and pool, technical services, housekeeping and management. oooh and don,t forget it is customary in Turkey to tip the staff.

i thought that the service and the hotel itself was vey comfortable and relaxing. With this hotel, the bar staff and waiters were very friendly and would go out og the way to help you. I recommend it to anyone.
