The hotel itself was very basic and a little dated and not exactly the Hilton, but it was satisfactory.
The rooms were clean and was surprisingly cleaned every day. There seemed few staff in the hotel but was not a problem.
Once you checked in etc, the staff pretty much left you to your own devices. The guy usually on night shift was bit moody but the guy in the morning and sometimes in the pool bar was friendly and bit more cheerful, but there wasn’t any problem at all.
I found it weird that once you got up to the room, there was no leaflets/information or numbers for reception or ways to call out etc. water wasn’t 24 hours, so a late flight you can’t be guaranteed a warm shower.
The breakfast was very basic- a little too basic for me; everything was cold food and the same every day. The clientele seemed to be mostly older people but there were a few young couples. We weren’t in the hotel v much so it wasn’t really a problem.
The pool WAS very deep, but we got used to it. The pool was a lot better than many pools around the area and was very nice. There was a pool bar- as well as the bars around the hotel! We were situated right next to the Irish bar, which we were worried about as the music was crazy loud- but it went right down after midnight.
However, while we were happy with the hotel, we may explore other hotels in quieter areas if we were to go to again.

We went bed and breakfast and the breakfast was typically Turkish. The room was very clean and not a bad size, very few staff spoke much English which I thought was odd since most of the guest were from the UK.
I recommend this hotel to those who are broad minded! Most of the other guest where lovely and made our holiday.
The locality was very central to beach, bars and restaurants the pool was large and clean but unfortunately very deep. Many people complained!
I enjoyed Icmeler very much but I do not think I would stay at the Hotel Private again.

We booked in hotel private for a week at half board there was 6 people altogether and as we arrived at Dalaman the rep met us and put us on a coach there was no seats on the coach it was full so they took us of and put us and some others in a small mini bus after 2 hours we finally got there we was put in 2 of the biggest rooms in the hotel we got 2 family rooms they was clean and really more than we expected the hotel private is I would say one of the best hotels in Icmeler I’ve tried lots of other places in Icmeler I’ve been going now for the past 10 years and I’ve now booked again in the hotel private for august 2006 we have never booked again with direct holidays in the week we booked we never seen 1 rep visit the hotel everything was done by the staff the lads there couldn’t do enough for you so I would recommend this hotel to anyone

The private hotel was great, the staff were very friendly and very helpful and were around 24/7. The rooms are a decent size but only basic as I have found with Turkish hotels. The hotel is kept very clean and tidy and your rooms get cleaned every day without fail to a high standard. It has a large pool with a pool bar and a restaurant and the bar stays open until you go to bed!! It is ideally located only five mins from beach and bars we had a great 2 weeks!!
