Holiday Inn Garden Court Tour Eiffel

Stayed there in June, 2004. Rooms were somewhat small but very comfortable and extremely clean. Nice to have a full bath and ac. Hotel staff were wonderful and very helpful with any questions we had, and there were many being we do not speak french. Location was great, between two train stations and a lovely walk to the tower. Truly a french experience. Would stay there again as opposed to the much higher prices luxury hotels.

I've been to this hotel twice. The second time I was supposed to be at a different Holiday Inn because I got a "great" deal on the internet, but it was non-refundable. And the worst thing was that it was located far away from the city center. The dumb taxi driver couldn't find that hotel. I got frustrated and had him drop me off at the airport so I could take the train into the city. My family of three stayed here in Aug 2004. We drove from Spain and arrived at about 1230 at night. After we finally found the hotel we tried to fit our SUV into their tiny, tiny, tiny garage through an even smaller car elevator. When we finally squeezed our vehicle into the garage, we were given a triple room which was smaller than any double room we stayed in throughout Europe. I only stayed at this hotel because I arrived a day earlier in Paris from a business trip in Germany. After arriving at another Holiday Inn, they were only able to find a room at this hotel that was close to the hotel I would transfer to the next day. I have to admit the location is great, about one block from metro station, restaurants and McDonalds. It’s only about a 10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. The room was on the small side and because we had my son who had a foldaway bed, meant we had to put it away each morning and out again at night otherwise it was in the way. It was clean, which is my number 1 priority. Nice breakfast. Great location, a street market outside, loads of shops around and within walking distance of metro stations and eiffel tower. Would recommend to anyone.

I found the hotel to have a great Eiffel view and in a super location....a block from 2 different metro stations. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms, though small, were clean and all front desk staff spoke English and tried to be accomodating. It has no room service but why sit in your room in Paris? Bottomline, if you get a great price this is a good place to stay. It is not fancy, but clean and adequate .

A very unpleasant experience. My friend and I and our 4 kids just returned from Paris last night. Our problems with this hotel started the minute we checked in. We arrived very late at night with 4 tired kids. My room was ready, but my friend who had requested a roll away bed and a king had to wait for at least 45 minutes while they tried to find a room big enough to accomodate her, even though these reservations were made well in advance and she even had the confirmation info. with her to show the request for the extra bed. I had no problems at all with the Holiday inn. It was a cute little hotel with very helpful friendly staff willing to go out of their way for you. It was a perfect location for the Eiffel Tower, in fact i could see it from my room which was a great surprise! Would definitely recommend this cosy hotel!

I picked the Holiday Inn Eiffel Tour because Holiday Inns have a good reputation and I earn American Airlines frequent flyer points. The employees in reception did not treat me nicely, neither were the employees helpful. What really made me come to the conclusion that I would never stay at this hotel again was that they did not give me my wake up call; therefore, resulting in missing my tour. I was furious! The hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We did not eat there as there were an abundance of pastry shops within walking distance. It was nothing special, but it was very good price for value. It was well located for the metro and restaurants.
