we had an economy room which was lovely, it was clean had a lovely view, the air con worked fine, beds were comfortable. breakfast was between 7-10 with a large choice of food. you could eat outside if you wanted overlooking the beautiful grounds. there were cats around at breakfast which we fed & they looked like they were fed by other guests maybe staff too? however there was a little kitten that was unwell & i found this upsetting, we ended up getting him flea & worm treatment so hopefully he'll be ok. we found the hotel to be quite... more

Lovely hotel, with fab pool, but drinks/food very expensive. Beds are rock hard!! Been to turkey at other resorts 5 times, with friendly people, this resort very unfriendly. We stayed at hotel on half board, food is same everynight......didnt see one chip or kebab. No ice cream for afters for kids. No entertainment, nothing to do at night. Everyone trys to rip you off, 2 kebabs 1 chips and 1 cola £28.00 in old town. fake goods in shops very expensive, cheaper to buy authentic. I wont be going back to this resort. nice hotel food was great not too turkish style and they have a kids buffet with american food like hot dogs and chicken nugges along with many dishes and appetizers, dessert etc. all taste buds are satisfied the food is very good and clean. It is in the best location possible, the train is a five minute walk that brings you to the old city 10 min. away a must see.. Our experience at this hotel was a terrible one. First of all, forget about getting any type of reasonable service at this hotel. It seemed that the staff and the management didn't care about its guests. For example, we had to call the front desk a number of times just to bring us soap. Also, our mini-bar was never re-stocked after we informed management that it was missing many items. As we left the hotel, no one offered to help us with our luggage or offered to call us a cab. This hotel is as far from 5*as the moon is from the planet earth!. The air con does not work,the balconys are small and dirty. the staff and management could not run a bus garage canteen,let along a 5*hotel. The bell boys smelled of BO as did the management 24/7. the same"selection"of food is served day after day. including cheap fake orange juice!. the food is the same quality you would expect from a 2*(or bus garage or hospital canteen!). Avoid at all costs,you will be sorry,and you were warned!.

Just returned from a week in Antalya Turkey where we stayed at the Falez Hotel. Booked the hotel as a last minute deal. Travelled on the 12th to 19th November. For the hotel on HB basis it cost us approx £160.00 for 2 for the week. Reading the reviews were a bit off putting but we wanted to try a 5* hotel and the price was only slightly more than 3* hotels we were looking at in the same area. What can you say about this tour that is not good? There was one customer who complained on the last night during a lovely "Turkish Evening" and that was handled by the IAH rep. in a superb fashion , in my opinion it was a "try on". The hotel chosen was excellent. The location for viewing the Total Solar Eclipse in Side was a good choice and all the extra tours like Perge added in made for a superb deal. Myself and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel in october 2004. this is an honest and unbiased review and frankly we have no reason to lie. 1.the hotel staff were rude,incapable and ungroomed. 2.service was slow and the food choice was bland,and frequently displayed discoloured meats!. 3.the swimming pools were freezing. 4.the management was totally unprofessional especially their "customer services manager"whom mainly just spent time insulting us,and arguing with us. 5.when we complained about the hotel,they... more

Just back 18 may 2004 from the 5 *Falez Hotel. Its 15 min walking from the nice old centrum (harbour). There is a tramstop just 200 meters from the hotel (free with a card you can get in the Informationpoint in the citycentrum). The taxis are cheap and cost about 3 $ to the old centrum. There is a respectable height between the hotel en the coastline but there is a free shutlebus in the morning to the beach. You can also leave the hotel from behind of the garden and open again this door with your hotelcard. Than you find a Turkisch buffet on... more
