Booked this hotel on a website www.HotelReservations.ie and then got a direct flight from Dublin Airport with Ryanair. On arrivat the hotel was situated well within London and the staff were very friendly, had all my details ready at receiption. I did not realise that the hotel was so big it has over 1000 rooms, and multiple check in and check out receiptions.
On arrival to my room we had a great view and the room was spacious and very clean with all the mod cons, a very good hotel to say in if you are looking to visit central London from a brilliant location, and if you book online you can save over 60%
Well done the cumberland!

This hotel is expensive and a very oppressive place to stay.
My wife and I have just checked out of this hotel and I feel compelled to write a few comments on our findings.
The hotel corridors look like a prison.
The rooms are very small with very poor lighting.
There is only one double plug socket in the whole room.
There is nowhere to put anything down in the shower apart from the floor.
There is nowhere to put a makeup bag down in the bathroom.
The plasma TV picture is awful.
It took 45 minutes after returning to the hotel on day 2 to finally get entry into the room. Door locks had lost key code.
It is impossible to get a taxi at the hotel entrance.
My advice is to book into the Grosvenor House hotel which is only 5 minutes walk away!!!!!
