Marina Dolphin Apart Reviews
" Staff were very friendly and helpful.... "

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Apartments were basic but kept clean. Very safe for children. Close to shops, pubs, restaurants etc. They put on a Turkish night every week (usually tues) in which you get a free meal and they also put on a free barbeque on a Saturday night. The only downside to these apartments is that there are a lot of steps, so not suitable for people with walking difficulties. We had an excellent time here and are going back next year!
" Just returned from the Marina dolphin... "

Just returned from the Marina dolphin a few days ago, the rooms are adequate enough very spacey, however have stayed in much better accommodation would rate accommodation at 2 out of 5, but then again its only a place to rest your head and there were far more positives. And the marina dolphin made up for this with there very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel manager and staff are excellent (Ozzie atom and the fantastic Franco), they made our holiday that little bit special. The hotel is in a brilliant location 2min walk from marina, and 15 min walk to the bar street, and 5min taxi ride away from Gumbet. The food in Bodrum was excellent and at a fare price, drinks in bars and clubs can vary so watch out. And never pay the asking price in turkey. Would go back to Bodrum any day.
" Have to say what a lovely place this... "

Have to say what a lovely place this is, located close enough to the town to walk for a good night out, but far enough not to be blasted by the multitude of discos. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much for them to help you with. Immaculately clean, I have stayed in June 2003 for 3 weeks, then October 2003 for two weeks and now I like it so much I am back for 4 weeks July this year.
There are no problems with having to climb hills to get to these apartments, they are on the flat very close to the marina. (about 2 mins walk). There is a step down into the premises from the front gate and one step up to the terraces on ground floor apartments, but quite manageable for wheelchair access, if you need help you only need to shout.
The apartments themselves are roomy with plenty of storage, I would quite happily have that wardrobe space at home. I understand that they are being modernised over Winter 2003, so am looking forward to seeing them in July 2004.
The kitchens are reasonably well supplied with all the utensils you need for making simple meals. A dining table and six chairs, a side table and telephone, a bed settee and coffee table make up the kitchen/lounge.
The apartments are swept and tidied every day with linen changed 2 times a week (I think).
There are only 25 apartments so this complex never gets too crowded. And seems to be enjoyed by a variety of different people, young families, couples, singles and the older married couples. What is very reassuring is that there is a night watchman that keeps an eye on the apartments in the evenings and during the night when you are sleeping. If you choose to stay here I am sure you will have a wonderful wonderful holiday.
