Barcelo La Galea Apartments

Barcelo la Galea was the best holiday I've ever been on ever !!!!! I loved every minute of it, I've been back one week and I want to go back!
If I was you I would book 2 weeks, even 2 weeks goes really fast, the pools are quite deep and very cold to start of with.
The waiters and entertainment staff are very nice, friendly and speak good English.
The food was ok but a nicer place I found for lunch was around from the apartments was a lovely sandwich bar which done every baguette you could think of, jacket potatoes everything!
I had a good time on holiday and I will definitely be getting my mum to book us the holiday again next year for 3 weeks !!!!

We have just come back from the aparthotel Barcelo La Galea in Costa Teguise, myself, my mother and my 3 children have had a fantastic week.
Costa Teguise is a small, friendly resort and felt very safe, my teenage daughter was happy to wander around the shops on her own, and did so at every opportunity. Couldn’t fault the hotel, the rooms we had were on the ground floor, close to the pool. It was clean and very comfortable.
We thoroughly enjoyed all the meals, although maybe children who only eat things like chicken nuggets might have a problem. My children are all strong swimmers, but the pools are very deep, so parents of non-swimmers might worry a little. The staff were all excellent, and spoke very good English. Special praise for the entertainments staff, in particular the kids club girl, Amelia, who seemed to genuinely enjoy her work and put in many extra hours.
Only thing we complained about was having to come home after a week, I wish we’d booked 2 and will definitely return.

A party of 7 of us - 5 adults and 2 kids have just returned from a week at these apartments. We had 3 separate apartments - all with sea view.
I could not fault our stay here in any way - facilities excellent, staff friendly and food at night - the 2 times we ate there was excellent and great value at €8 for a buffet. Food at pool bar during the day was also tasty and good value.
Never a problem with sunbeds - maybe because it was early enough in the season and the apartment were not full.
Location wise it is perfect - out the back door and you are on the prom - only 2 minutes from the beach. Entertainment at night in the disco bar was the usual holiday entertainment - however if you wanted a quite night the bar upstairs next to reception was perfect.
In relation to eating out there are a variety of choices . However we found the Irish Bailey - right at the back door on the sea front excellent for snack type food. Do a perfect toasted sandwich and also a great breakfast.
Was not at all impressed with Lannis - expensive, slow and had to return food twice because it came out cold.
Captain Hooks in the square - up the side of the Lighthouse do great cocktails.
Great walks along the prom and beach as well - taking you form one cove to another.
Would definitely go back there for a relaxing holiday. However make sure you request your apartments not to be facing street - a number of them do.!!
