Millennium Gloucester Hotel

My daughter and I stayed here for one night in January.
We booked a twin bedded room and were very satisfied with the spaciousness and cleanliness.
Separate temperature control of the heating/air con, meant the room could be set how YOU wanted it to be and not how the Hotel felt it should be.
Bathroom was spotless with plenty of white towels and heaps of hot water ... I took advantage and had two of the deepest, hottest baths whilst we were there!
Room service was available and the menu was extensive and included food from the Hotel's restaurants which were just next to the Hotel - reasonable priced too... unlike the mini bar - but I guess that's the same in most HOtels.
More than enough room to store clothes etc ... and very nicely lit.
One grumble about the room though. We had to disconnect the TV. Wiggle the wire through the unit, and use this extension so that my daughter could use her straighteners near a mirror ... why oh why did they not put a normal socket near a mirror! (There was a hairdryer we found in a drawer but this didn’t fit any plug at all)
A fantastic variety of foods for breakfast. No complaints here.
The Hotel Lobby and Reception are beautiful ... I relaxed as soon as I walked through the door. Wonderful!
The concierge kept our bag for us throughout the Saturday whilst we shopped, so we didn’t have to drag it round London with us. Which was a relief.
It cost £85 for both of us. Bed and breakfast ... well worth it I can assure you ... only a couple of minutes away from Gloucester Road tube. Well close to everything. Would certainly stay there again.
