Excellent time

Oct 2011, June

Went to Parque Santiago 3 at beginning of October had a great time, lovely complex and nice apartment. Stayed in block La Palma in a 2 bedroom 4053.
Was worried as saw someone had wrote a view on this but can honestly say if there were problems with apartment there isnt those issues now.
Would certainly return to this apartment very spacious as on 2 levels inside.

We have just returned from a week at Santiago 4, Im so glad we read the reviews before we went.(wished we had booked for longer now!)and from the moment we set off from home everything went so smoothly. We booked with 'on the beach' and we could'nt fault a thing. The weather stayed sunny and hot all week with not one cloud the whole time. I had to buy cooler clothes as the weather was so miserable when we left England. The Apartment just what we wanted it was perfect,It was cleaned every day,the maids were so polite nothing too much trouble. The pools were spotless, beds cleaned evey day.Thank you so so much for a truly great time.We are going for longer next year!!

  • Advice: Take cool clothes and not too many.

Just arrived back from Tenerife with my boyfriend for a week and have to write about how impressed I was with the Parque Santiago Apartments. We paid for a studio apartment which accomodates 3 people so for the two of us it was just a perfect size. The kitchen was fully equipped with all appropriate pots and pans if you want to cook in the apartment. The bed was two single beds which is fine as you can just push them both together. The sofa is also a sofa bed if you need an extra bed. The bathroom was probably the most out dated of the apartment, very small but still nice and clean. The maids came daily and changed the sheets and towels and gave the apartment a thorough clean taking around an hour or so each day. The balcony overlooked onto the main road which was a lovely site. It is noisy up until midnight then the road goes quiet as all the music goes off for you to be able to get some sleep. On arrival there is a fruit bowl with some fruit, wine and a bottle of water in it which is a nice touch!
There is a huge shopping complex underneath which has everything that you need and a supermarket across the road. Along with this the beach is 2 minutes down the road and the pool area is huge.
The only downfall was the price of the safety deposit box. Its 30 euros and you only get 10 euros back which we thought was a bit steep. But they are big safes and we found out that they are also insured for up to £3,000.
But other than that I cannot fault the complex, if you are after a quiet relaxing holiday then this is an ideal place to stay.

What can I say Parque Santigo 3 was excellent have a great time here I'm fter coming back last week from a weeks holiday in this resource with my boyfriend. I would definatly recommend it to anyone that asks me. parque santigo is close to all the top shops. Its a 5 min taxi trip to Siam Park the big water park and about 2 hour trip to the famous Loro Park I would def recommend people to go to these parks they are out of this world. Parque santiego is just a walk away from all the great pubs and clubs would def go back next year. Our apartment was a lovely size and the cleaners were around every day to change the bed sheets and towels. the swimming pool is amazing. it was a very relaxing holiday with loads of things to do. the only problem I found was that our apartment was situated on the top floor and we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs there was no lift which is not very practical for old or disable people. but overall I had a plesent stay at Parque Santiego 3 and would go back.

Beware apartment 4053/property No 27 (privately owned)

Foul, dirty smell, particularly in 2nd bedroom.
All matresses need replacing as dirty & torn. Springs badly protruding through double matress & double bed is most uncomfortable.
Bedding is old, tatty, discoloured & has been repaired.
Bunk bed does not have a safety rail & has mould on it.
Curtains in lounge are filthy.
Settees & chairs are also marked.
Walls are covered in dirty marks.
Floor is dirty with cracked tiles.
Both bathrooms are an absolute disgrace. Mould present around bath edges. Showers barely usable.
Patio furniture old/worn.
Clothes rail rusty & falling apart.
Ironing board cover does not fit board - waste of time!
No rails inside fridge door so unable to use.
Washing machine is on it's last legs!
Button needs to be held down on toaster to toast bread.
Apartment overlooks a busy road - if you sit in the very corner of the balcony you can just to say see the sea.
On arrival to this apartment we were utterly horrified & disappointed.
We have stayed at parque santiago 3 on 5 previous occasions. We love the complex & would highly recommend it to family/friends. However, be very careful if booking privately.

just had 2wks, requested santiago 5, but was put in santiago 4, booked 2xbed apart for 3xadults 2x 19+20, room situated on ground floor looking onto side road, downside for room,3 rooms away, access for deliv lorries which arrived @ 7.30am in the morn. The staff were very helpfull, asked for room @ santigo 5,was told to come back in 5days @ 12pm and view the apart. We did and took it,This apart was on 2 levels had 2xbathrooms,2xlarge balconys, very spacious.4th time for us in tenerife, twice at these apart, good location, don't recommend local cafe's for full english breakfast, highly recommend Montanna and El Cedro's in-between santiago 1+2, went to El Cedro's for daughter's b/day, had a fantastic time, the waiters made it really special for her, presenting her with a cake and candle, and a bottle of bubbly.Weather was good 33/36c during day 18/20c @ night. Can't wait to go back

We have just come back from parque santiago 3 and had the most wonderful time. Fantastic partments, location, weather! What more could one ask for.!!! I was dreading after reading some of the reviews but we had a room that was over the side so no view but no noise apart from one night which you can get anywhere. Would definately recommend these and we will definately be going back. Fantastci bars nearby with excellent service. For just a little walk you can get food and drink quite a bit cheaper but not in as good a location. We cannot fault these apartments and cant wait to go back!

Have just returned from a week over New Year at Parque Santiago 3. Was very disappointed right from start. Requested ground floor apt with either sea view or pool view. Was given apt up 4 flights of stairs, furthest away from pool and sea. We were looking onto street over a bar with loud music playing every night till midnight. Asked to be moved but they said they could do nothing until middle of week. Had to carry lugguage up 4 flights of stairs (no lifts) would not be suitable for elderly people. Apartment was very basic, 2 star would be a more suitable description pink bathroom suite no proper shower. Pine furniture was very dated and tired. Would not have liked to have tried to cook a meal in tiny kitchen with basic facilities.
However the location of the apartments are excellent on the beach and close to some lovely shops and restaurants.
All in all would return but to 1 of the apartments that are privately owned you know then what your getting and where apartment is located.

On arrival we were sent to Parque Santiago 4 which was beautiful and given a lovely apartment right beside the pool and pool bar with its own little garden area.
Great time was had by all and the pool and apt was lovely, but then on the second night when we came back at 3am there was a surprise running around in the kitchen sink and then they run under the fridge.
If it was not for all the cocktails taken earlier there would have been an unholy war but I eventually gota bit of sleep on the sofa until daylight as it was as far from the kitchen as possible.I then went into reception and told receptionist about the "big problem during the night". She then done a little dance and sang the Cacharachas song for me which I could not believe to be honest and was quite upset. She said they would spray and then no more problem and not to worry as she would sort it.
Well the cleaner agreed that it was "no problemo" too and we tried to forget it and enjoyed pool and nightlife the next night. Only in the middle of the night my hunky man had a night caller which ran over his shoulder and head and this realy freaked him out. If it had of been me I'd have literally died. This was a supposedly good hotel and not a kip so he went straight to reception and told another receptionist about the situation quite loudly and some other guests give their opinon too. He said he wanted a new apartment up higher and now and was given a key straight away. We packed up everything (which was hard going in the heat and with a humungus hangover) and moved to another lovely apt on the second floor. No more problems thank god and we relaxed again eventually and enjoyed our holidays. On walking past our old apt each day we could see that no-one was given it and an asking a few others they all had no problems so we thought it just had bad drains or holes which should have been fixed.
Amaisingly I would go back to this hotel but only on the upper floors as it was lovely and right next to beach and everything.

My husband and myself stayed at Parque Santiago 3 in Jan 2010 and had a fabulous time.
At first when we arrived at our apartment we were slightly disapointed not to have a view of the pool as we had asked for, but a view of the main road. However having spent all day around the pool in the glorious sunshine, we would love coming back to the apartment sitting on the balcony, watching the bars open and enjoying the very talented jazz band across the road....and then the closing down of everything at the end of the night (which was done by 11pm most nights, so we had no noise after this time)
The complex has it's own bars, restaurants, supermarket, gift shops, Children's water park, gym, and beautiful pools etc...It's also right on the sea front with everything you need within very easy reach.
The area is called 'Arona' and is a real up and coming area. It's recently undergone massive developement and now looks similar to the Las Vegas Strip!! With designer shops, top bars and restaurants, Fountain displays and grand hotels. And this is all on your doorstep!!
We loved every minute of our stay here...so much so that we have booked to go again for three weeks in Jan next year!
