We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect quiet but around the corner is the tube station, a small supermarket (unusual for London and great for stocking up on snacks & drinks) and some restaurants. This was also easy walking distance to the great museums.
The hotel is great for adults with super size rooms for London with excellent in room facilities (cable telly, luxurious bathroom, sofa and super size bed) and is great for children too especially if like us we got interconnecting rooms.
The breakfast was first class with everything you could imagine, catering for every culture, every type of bread, cake, fruit, yoghurt, hot English Breakfasts and international alternatives.
The evening meal was also impressive especially because two adults and two children ate very well for £37! Cheaper than back home and fresh ingredients.
Overall an impressive hotel with helpful staff, excellent food and well located.
Happy memories, Rachel.

Perfect weekend break!
Very impressive entrance and lovely staff, we thought we had the wrong place as it was far more impressive than we expected for such a low price.
The bedroom was lovely, very clean and modern. Cleaners did an excellent job every day.
The breakfast was excellent too and there was plenty of choice including full English, cereals, American pancakes and even a Japanese breakfast.
Only a five minute walk from tube station, highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience London, as it is close to everything you need but in a quiet relaxed area.

The hotel itself is easy to locate and literally minutes from Gloucester Road tube station, so it was easy to get here form the centre of London where we had been doing some Christmas shopping. The location of the hotel is perfect, out of the main hustle and bustle but there are shops and restaurants within 1 minute walk of the hotel.
Checking in was fine, we were allocated a room on the top floor - a fantastic view for those without vertigo. The room was small but an adequate size, and perfectly clean. Unfortunately the minibar had not been stocked, I would have killed for a beer on arrival, but I guess some people would prefer to use it as a fridge.
Some of the wallpaper in the room was a little damaged, but nothing major. It would have been nice if the staff came and cleared the room service washing up a little more often, there were beer glasses in the corridor from when we arrived at about 6pm until the next morning!
After dinner in a local restaurant we went to the hotel bar which was had quite a good atmosphere for a hotel bar. The drinks were quite expensive (£3.50/pint), but I don't know how well this compares with the rest of the Kensington area.
We didn't take breakfast in the hotel, although if you book it as part of your rate it costs around half the £10 or so the hotel was asking for on check in.
There was a long line on checkout, and the hotel would benefit from organising the queue more sensibly. As we lined up to wait for the next free desk several people tried to ignore the queue and push in, I felt quite silly having to go up to these people and say 'Excuse me there is a queue, these people are all waiting!' - Surely the desk staff should do this?
Other than that, an excellent, enjoyable stay and fair value for the part of London.
