London Bridge Hotel

We got a great last minute deal from a discount website for a one night stay in early August this year. The rooms were spotless and well decorated and the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is two minutes walk from London Bridge and the Thames Path, great for access to lots of attractions. Would definately recommend & stay here again if we could get another good deal.

When we arrived at this hotel, myself and my Husband got the sort of look that we wern't welcome don't know why, not posh enough. We stayed here for live 8 weekend. The room was very nice and seemed big, booked with the hotel direct. However our room was at the front of the hotel and were woken at 7am sat morning due to the dust cart, they also had out of date magazines placed in the room. I stayed at the London Bridge for two nights in August. I booked a great deal through EBookers and contacted the Hotel by email the day before to see if there was any chance of an upgrade. They resonded immediately to say request it on check in and they would see if they could do it. Well I asked on check in and they upgraded me immediately to an Executive Room. The hotel has a great location, the rooms were OK but a bit small. My issue was I reserved one rate and confirmed this upon check in. On check out they changed the rate and would not honor the lower rate. I would not sign for the charges, they charged my credit card anyway at the higher rate. Now I am fighting with my credit card company. Watch out for this hotel!!!!!!

We stayed at the London Bridge Hotel for 5 days last week. We have travelled to London several times but the LONDON BRIDGE HOTEL was the best hotel we've ever stayed at. We stayed at this hotel on July 22nd. Using the internet, we got a good deal ($145USD) per night. From Gatwick, you can take the train and get off at the London Bridge station - which is much cheaper than taking the Gatwick Express to Victoria. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the London Bridge station. Spent 3 nights in London Bridge Hotel. Could have stayed longer. Beautiful interior decor. Bathroom is excellent. Rooms are on the small side (mine's a 'standard' without upgrade) but adequate. Ideal location for the tube and train, esp when Northern and Jubilee lines remained in good servce throughout our stay which was right after the bomb attacks. Breakfast is plentiful. Stayed at the London Bridge hotel July 15-20. Flew into LGW airport and took the train direct from the airport to London Bridge station. The hotel was a short 2 minute walk from the main entrance to the station. Hotel was very nice. Lobby was a bit small, but charming. Concierge desk was extremely helpful. Gorgeous decor inside, simple and restful. Temperature fine. Rooms very large size and the bathrooms are lovel. Stayed here twice and have no reason to complain about anything. So close to London Bridge train and tube station.

Stayed for 3 nights in May 2005 and found the location to be just great. It was so handy to have both the rail and tube station across the street. Because of the location we never needed the service of a taxi. Had read many previous reviews on this site which is why we booked to stay with them. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room at the back was quiet and larger than many rooms you would find in Europe. Found the hairdryer and coffeemaker tucked away in the drawers in the desk and bureau.
