A well located hotel. Nice bar and restaurant areas, but very expensive for drinks (£7 for a glass of wine!). A lovely grand piano being played in the lobby.
Rooms are small, but had all the things required (iron, nice toiletries).
The hotel is within walking distance of Shepherds Bush, which was fine for a new drinks at night. There are nice restaurants just a couple of minutes walk in the other direction.
Shepherds Bush and Holland Park Underground stations are very nearby.
Breakfast was superb. As wide a choice as I'd ever seen. Including porridge and doughnuts, waffles. Full English was lovely - even crispy bacon.
There is a gym and sauna/steam (no pool I don't think), but didn't have time to visit them.

Stayed in the Hilton London Kensington whilst going to a Red Carpet Bash in London for the evening.
Great welcome by concierge and reception and speedy check in.
Room was big (for London) and very comfortable, which a great "real" king sized bed. Nice bathroom and good tea making facilities. Breakfast was good.
Overall I'd highly recommend this hotel for staying in London - especially for Olympia or the surrounds.

Stayed 3 nights at the Kensington Hilton in Central West London. The hotel is accesible via Holland Park Tube station on the Central line but is a 10 minute walk.
I was in a double room that cost around £110 a night. I found the room to be grubby, dirty, and well used. The bath in the bathroom was sized for a dwarf, and I found myself unable to take a bath due to the grubby looks. The main bedroom was better, but had a CRT TV (Hotels of this standard should have panels by now!). The bed was reasonably comfy but had had its share of being slept in.
My main bugbear of this hotel was breakfast being the usual London ridiculous rate of £19.99, but I had to wait 20 minutes each morning due to the queue of people waiting to be seated. 1 poor chap was doing all the work and I felt kind of sorry for him.
Also theres no Sky Sports in the bedroom TV's as per the Hilton standards.
Overall I cant recommend this hotel, especially at this price. Its in Zone 2 and falls below usual Hilton standards. 4/10.
