Martha’s Apartments

Went to marthas apartments on the 28th july 2006 with my wife and two kids. Stayed for a couple of hours. These apartments are not habitable. Do not think of going here, the place is a nightmare. swiming pool very dirty, hall and stairs not much better , bad smell throughout., Overgrown teraces, cigarette butt balconys, Dangerous ceiling fans if even they work. Just arrived back after having what we thought was a 3 day break from the kids and work, Should have stayed at home. Weather was great apartments were awful, fan in kitchen area with the wire dangling down to the main light fitting, nothing in the bedroom. apartment was dirty and smelly. groups of young lads next door up until all hours not to mention the pool that you couldnt see the bottom due to the dirt in it. Its the pits and even for a cheap break I woulnt consider staying there. Couldnt wait to get home. DO NOT GO.

we visited marthas apartments, they were cheap but certainly not cheerful !!crumbling exposed walls on the balcony,cooker rusted and filthy unusable,the lift you could see the floor threw the bottom, we did not attempt to use it,the pool was smelly and filthy,sheets were never changed.lads were playing football in the corridor early hours, almost every night.and there was no lighting in the corridors, but son caliu is a lovely resort plenty of nice bars and resterants,the beach 15 mins walk away,and near to palma nova and magaluf. we will... more

Stayed at Marthas between the 8th - 15 July. Hotel is about a 30 minutes bus journey from the Palma airport. The location of this hotel is ideal - a 7 minute walk to the beach in Palma Nova and about 25 minute walk will bring you into the heart of Magaluf. A large supermarket is also close by. Myself, a friend and her 15 week old baby stayed at the appartment for a week. Stayed with my wife and two kids recently at the Marthas apts the holiday we had in Palma Nova was fantastic, weather, food, resort brilliant. But alas the apts where awful, no air-con, the most run down place you will ever see, concrete crumbling on balcony overgrown gardens, paint peeling off the walls, dare you ride the lift from hell where you could see the ground through the floor of it. Gangs and Gangs of lads screaming and shouting all night(good luck to them but not for families). Sorry Martha's I am a no frills guy but this was bad.

My 19 yr old Son, my best friend & I stopped at Marthas Apts for 11 days last October. After a minor double booking problem on our arrival night, we were swiftly moved the next morning into a 1 bedroom apartment that had everything you could need for a comfortable stay at what was an excellent price. I visted the Marthas Apartments with my wife and 2 kids aged 14 and 7 the last week in may for half term. The apartments were basic but very clean and very well situated. Nice sized rooms and a good pool view made the stay a treat. 2 beautiful beaches are within 5 mins walk and Palma Nova centre is only a short walk down the main road. My wife and I spend a magnificent week in Palma Nova staying at Martha's Apartments, Son Caliu. The apartments were basic but clean, the staff friendly, and the location perfect. There is a bus stop at the corner that serves Palma, Magaluf and Santa Ponsa etc. A supermarket is within easy walking distance and the beach is only 10 minutes walk.
