A massive thank you and well done to all the staff at the hotel Mimosa Park.
We have just arrived back from a fortnight away and we haven't got a bad word to say.
The rooms were cleaned regularly and always kept tidy the air conditioning was always left on. The walls are slightly thin but then again I’ve known hotels with thinner walls.
The staff are all really well mannered and speak very good English. The pool is always kept tidy and there is always plenty of free loungers.
The beach and Palma nova front are just a five minute walk away, and the supermarket is just round the corner. There is also two bars literally seconds away from the pool that are always really friendly and serve nice cold beer and good food.
The food in the hotel is average I can't rave about it but then again I wouldn't complain about it either.
The last thing that I will comment on about this hotel is the absolutely fantastic entertainment team. We didn't have any children in our group in fact there were six of us that ranged between 22-60, but we were all made to feel welcome and encouraged to join in the activities and even came away with a few medals and certificates.
The team consists of Andy, Laura, Katie, Lauren, and occasionally Ralph.
Lastly I would just like to thank everyone again at hotel Mimosa Park and hopefully we will see you again next year for our third year in a row.
Well what an amazing fortnight,...

Well what an amazing fortnight, stayed at the Mimosa Park with myself and 3 friends (18, 20, 21 and 22). The hotel was clean, tidy, and pretty quiet.
Although the rooms are basic, they are comfortable and of a decent size and all have Air Con (always works) and a TV with Sky News and BBC1.
The shower is good and the rooms are tidied on a regular basis. If you want a lie in however put up your "do not disturb" sign as the cleaners do have a habit of coming into your room at 10am.
Food is adequate, however a little repetitive and there’s not much of a hot option if you’re a vegetarian, however unlike a lot of 3 star hotels in the area the food is actually edible and sometimes quite nice....so that’s a plus.
The pool area is fairly large and has a lifeguard on patrol between 10am and 6pm although he does spend a lot of his time eating and diving into the pool for his own enjoyment.
The pool area is very clean and only plastic is allowed so there’s no danger of any broken glass etc...! There is also a pool bar with seating area and snack bar (food from here not all inclusive) for those who like dining Al fresco.
Now the entertainment...where do I start, it’s excellent! Andy Mac, Lauren, Laura, and Katie all do a superb job providing numerous day time activities and putting on some brilliant shows at night.
A must for the Children is the Mini Disco (8pm-9pm) where they can learn dances, play games and win prizes. There is also a prize bingo at night with prizes in the region of €35-40 for 1 line and €150-€200 for a full house which is pretty good.
Only downside I can really think of is, if you do hire a car, park it in the car park to the side of the hotel, we parked ours in the parking spaces to the front of the hotel, and it was broken into!!! Nothing was taken from the car so we just put it down to vandals.
I would defo come back to this hotel again, which is suitable for anyone from couples young and old, to families, to groups of friends....highly recommended!

We went on the 17th of June and found the room to be really nice and very clean.
The food was awful but the rest of the holiday and area was great. We only saw 1 cockroach next to the pool. Loads of good places night life was excellent.
Beach was lovely about a 5 min walk from the hotel. Magaluf is really cheap compared to Palma Nova. If you look near the Santal Lucia hotel you will find an excellent restaurant with English waiters and bar staff, with great cheap food. I would recommend the spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread for 3 Euros it was brilliant.
If you go to med-ped you can hire a moped for 30 Euros for the day.

This hotel is fine, ok it’s not the Ritz but what do you expect for 3 star.
The rooms were cleaned every day. They were basic but we managed with a 3yr old and a baby.
The pool was good with a life guard there all day, plenty of sunbeds and great for kids.
There are games put on for them throughout the day by the entertainment team which is good.
The food was basic but ok. I’m on a diet and managed not to put on any weight didn’t have any puddings though, which there were plenty of!!
The lifts are a bit slow if going with a buggy you might be better asking for a 1st or 2nd floor room and using the stairs.
The beach is lovely and the golf is a good day out . All in all we had a great 1st family hol and would go back to this hotel. Have fun on your hols x

I went on holiday with my friend at the start of May. I found this hotel brilliant.
The food was good, (pastas, meats, salads, soups).
Everyone seems to think this hotel is far out of Palma Nova but it’s only a 5 minute walk to the centre and the beach and just a 15 minute walk to Magaluf.
I found the staff very pleasant, the rooms were cleaned every day, new towels every day, and the pool area was always clean.
The walls were thin but what do you expect in a three star hotel. Actually in your room you could hardly hear the next room even though they had 2 loud children. The only time you could hear them was when you were in the bathroom or when they were, but let’s face it everyone needs a shower.
Overall this was a brilliant holiday and a brilliant hotel, I would recommend it to anyone!

I went to Mimosa park hotel last year with the girls. Had a great time.
The hotel was always clean, the staff were brilliant with any problem as we did have one big problem when we arrived. There were no rooms for us but we got moved to one of three other hotels free of charge of course, and free taxis to the other hotel and back.
But after that was sorted we had a great time. Must say if you’re going to I would definitely recommend all inclusive it really does work out cheaper.
I am returning to Mimosa park hotel this September and would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend.
Remember your only paying for a 3 star hotel and I think it’s worth the money.

Much improved since our trip in March. Hotel very clean. Rooms cleaned every day and towels changed every day also, if required.
Still feel that a staff member should check the toilets at reception in the evenings as these are the main toilets and could do with cleaning on a regular basis.
The food was great, absolutely no problems for us but I did hear a few people comment on lack of choice for children.
Andy Mac is back! He was entertainment leader last year and has returned with a new group of entertainers again this year. They are excellent and so are some of the shows. Don't miss the magician! We had seats close to the stage and were amazed by the whole show First class. The Beijing Acrobats were fabulous. You would willingly pay extra to see both these acts if asked so well done to the hotel for the entertainment.
The only thing that let the hotel down for us this time were the queues at the bars. One night we missed 20 mins of the show each time we went to the bar for a drink.
We did complain but there are just not enough staff for the number of customers.
This was our 7th time at the hotel and we have never had this experience before.
All in all we had a great holiday and no doubt will return very soon.

Palma Nova, what a beautiful place!
I have just come back with my partner from a week of total relaxation (through the day) and partying (all night). I loved it and couldn't fault the hotel.
Okay the walls were really, really thin but liveable. The food was good, plenty of choice.
Infact the only fault I had with the hotel was that there was too many Spanish, but hey, there is not only us brits who go on holiday.
The Weather was beautiful and the entertainment staff were fantastic especially with the kids, that good infact we're are going back in 2009 all inclusive and taking my partners son.
The queue for drinks at night in the bar was terrible, but that is partly because the Spanish bar staff are trying to slow us English down from drinking (poor them, ha! ha!)
All in all fantastic, going back to that resort, going back to that hotel and going back all inclusive, we really did have a brilliant time.

The weather was absolutely beautiful great time of year to go
This was a lovely Hotel and the Rep was lovely and very friendly, well done Emma
The food was edible but could be a little better. Drinks were expensive and had to wait a long time at the bar, so expect a long wait to be served, service was shocking.
One washing machine for the whole hotel that was shocking, I tried to use a few times and the machines were full from morning till night, no washing done brought it home. No ironing facilities at all. Not really good enough for a very big hotel.
The kids had a great time in the pool and the entertainers on a night were great and very friendly. They did a great job trying to entertain us English they deserve a big CLAP they were Fab.
There were a few break ins when we were there that was frightening glad it wasn’t us.
The cockroaches were all out and about in the kitchen and in the dining room the staff didn’t seem to mind but I did, English Me suppose!!
I will be going back to Majorca but won’t be staying in the Mimosa Hotel.
Happy Holidays.

I’ve just came back from Mimosa Park hotel, and couldn’t find any fault with it.
Rooms are basic but spotless, maids were in every day with clean towels etc.
Food was fine and seemed to be something for everyone, couldn’t comment on the entertainment as we were out every night.
There was an awful lot of Spanish oap’s, but hardly the fault of the hotel, everyone needs a holiday, would go back to this hotel.

Seven of us went to this hotel for the Easter fortnight and this is what we all found.
The hotel is nice and clean enough and the maids come in every day to sweep and make up beds etc.
The walls are paper thin, and next door could be heard coming in, putting taps on, going to the toilet so bring your ear plugs for that. We could even hear noises from our landing although not even next door.
We found the staff friendly and reception friendly.
The food was not good however with mostly Spanish style food, which is fine if you are not fussy but we had 2 children there age 4 and 6 and they lived on chips and cold meat as everything else had sauces, garlic etc.
There was not any entertainment to speak of as we were told there were kids clubs and games.
When we got there we had been misinformed as it was mostly Spanish Oap’s who are there for this month of April as the government look after the oldies. So nothing for the kids apart from a few dance lessons.
The entertainers were very, very nice however but think they didn't have much choice but to have Spanish singing, Spanish jokes and bingo so very boring on that score.
Overall, I would go back to Palm Nova but this hotel was nice enough but definitely not for us again.
Hope this helps.

I have been to this hotel many times before but not just as early in the year so maybe that’s why I was disappointed for the first time.
Breakfast was continental as opposed to the usual hot selections and as 99% of the guests were Spanish the entertainment was geared for them.
The snacks between meals were just bread and salad. A talent show with Spanish guests telling jokes was really not our idea of entertainment!
No complaints on the cleanliness of the hotel. Public areas and rooms spotless however as the toilets at reception are the ones mainly used for the evening entertainment crowd I would suggest they could be attended more in the evening.
The staff as usual were very good and helpful.
I am going back in May with a group of friends so hopefully I'll be able to give the hotel a better review then.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and it was superb.
The food was as expected a bit repetitive but you could not fault the quality of it, it was superbly presented and there was a huge selection to choose from all of which was beautiful. The dining room and staff were also fantastic.
The room I stopped in was a family room as there were 4 of us, with my wife and 2 of my daughters; it was very spacious and spotlessly clean so I do not know why people on here say it was dirty.
I did however see another room which was another guest's and it was very tiny but they were on a higher floor.
The hotel itself is on a main road but none of my family struggled to sleep, after all we are on holiday and after a few drinks you don’t hear much. The hotel also has a steep hill which is a struggle when coming back on the night outside of the back gate by the swimming pool.
However if you go into Magaluf you can reach it from the hotel front entrance and by turning left and following the road to a roundabout by the sports stadium and then turning left, it only takes 10 minutes to walk and is a nice way of walking your dinner off.
Banana Joes is just down the slope and is open seemingly all night, my family and I often called in during the early hours for a last drink.
The place to watch all the footy etc is definitely BCM square which has a huge screen and table service; it is a fantastic atmosphere and holds around 5000 people, it is in Magaluf.
My holiday was superb and I am returning on June 2nd 2007 with my wife daughter and my brother and his family - beware Magaluf the Homers are coming, we will drink all your beer and steel the sun lol.

I have mixed opinions about this hotel, I went with 2 friends for a girls holiday and I loved palma nova itself but I went home feeling exhausted due to lack of sleep for a week, not due to hard partying more like no chance of a wink because the road noise is really that bad!
Even if you get paraletic you have no chance of nodding off, you have to have the balcony door open as you run the risk of suffocating as there is no air con at all in the rooms!
So we literally had to go to the nearest chemist to get some ear plugs just to get an hours sleep during the day before dinner! lovely clean rooms though, grim maybe but spotless towels and sheets, food was ok if a little repetitive although I was feeling pretty down one day due to no sleep and once I went down for dinner and had a hot apple crumble and custard waiting for me, that made my day!!
Hotel was nice, staff pleasant, pool area great with music playing all day I would recommend this hotel but only if you stay on the rear side and if you suffer from insomnia!! The best part is the supermarket just next door very handy indeed, especially for sleeping pills!!

This was the first holiday abroad for me and my boyfriend, so we were really looking forward to it.
We arrived at the hotel at 1:30am and were immediately impressed. The reception was great and really clean. We were checked in straight away.
We're both not keen on lifts, so we used the stairs as much as possible, which wasn't a problem (we were on the 3rd floor). When we did use the lifts though there were no problems with them.
The rooms were a little small, with thin walls, but to be honest how much time do you spend in your room on holiday.
The hotel is next to a main road but we hardly noticed any noise.
The rooms were cleaned daily and we got fresh towels every day.
The pool was cleaned everyday and there was always a life guard there.
As for the comments about the food being awful and there was no fresh fruit or veg that is completely untrue. There was a large variety including a salad bar, different pastas, different veg, soup, a different meat each night plus a lot more.
For breakfast there was a buffet style full English, fruit, cereal, croissants etc.
The hotel is situated in a good location, 5 mins in a taxi to Magaluf, 5 mins walk to the beach and bars and restaurants.
There are lots of things to do in Palma nova too. We spent a full day playing crazy golf, which was fun. There’s also water parks and shows to go to as well.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
The reps, entertainment staff and hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and we are going again in August 2007.
