Just back from the Mimosa Park, the hotel was great would have nothing to complain about, most guests where all inclusive but we where half board, the food was fantastic and a great choice.

Around the pool area was fine, plenty of sun loungers but abit cramped nearly lying on top of eachother, i prefer the beach anyway which is about 5 mins walk away.

I was with my mum and grandmother, there is quite alot of steps around the hotel and my grandmother found it abit difficult, and the lifts where slow but thats because the hotel was busy.

I would go back to the Mimosa Park again.

For the price we paid for this holidayl i thought the facilities were excellent and only a couple of things let this hotel down, 1 was the long process of checking in on arrival, this was not the fault of the check in staff it was the fact that they had a number of buses turning up at the same time and only 2 staff checking guests in, 2 was the price of having a late check out, 27 euros for an extra 6 hours !!!!

I thought the range of food availiable was good and there was always something for everyone, the hotel itself is in a little need of modernising but its very comfy and welcoming. the pool area was lovely and big enough for kids to run around, even tho the pool was very cold it did cool you down in the hot sunshine.

i would definatly recommend this hotel for everyone, i had a lovely stay here and would return.

We stayed at mimosa park hotel All Inclusive and had a great time, staff were friendly and helpful. Hot Foods and salads was excellent a different variety every day but puddings were a dissapointment you got fed up with cakey type cold mousse deserts. No hot puddings such as apple pie/crumble or treacle sponge I'm afraid.(watch out for the bird flying around in the restaurant, not major but a bit off putting). Don't be fooled by All inclusive, there were 2 lists of alcoholic beverages one was all inclusive cheap spanish brands and the other list were top brands which you had to pay for. (e.g southern comfort). The Hotel Room was cleaned and swept daily.

If your a non smoker as soon as you get into reception your smothered with cigarette smoke it's not banned like it is in uk, there was not a seperate area for non- smokers, which was quite dissappointing. There were 3 lifts at the hotel which could only hold a maximum of 3-4 people if you had lugguge 2 was the max. (watch the gap when you go in the lift). Annoying too see staff giving out questionares about the hotel whilst we were eating in the restaurant which was quite rude and should have waitied until the last day we vacated the hotel.

Excursions - Try not to book any excussions with the Thomas Cook Reps, we booked our own through Toscana Tours and saved quite a lot of money. It cost us 18 euro's each to go on a grand island tour which included pick up/drop off points, coach , train and boat trip to La Calobra & Pto. Soller. This included a Blanket Trip which was boring a rep talking about mattresses and bedding for 1 hour trying to sell you bedding items for under £1000. (don't do it) Other couples booked the same grand island tour through Thomas Cook Reps which cost (49 Euro's each) they were horrified when we told them how much we paid.

Magaluff is great it cost us 3 euros by taxi to go there, good nights out in Magaluff if your into clubbing and wine bars etc. We went to Chaplins Bar it was okay a good laugh! It's best to go out at late about 11pm as some of the Bar's shut between 4 -6am.

There are plenty of taxi's around so you feel safe to get back to your hotel. The beach is 5 minutes walk from Mimosa Park and there are loads of shops for gifts ect. if you go to Andrax Market make sure you barter with the market traders as some of them try to rip you off!

Overall, We would stay at Mimosa Park again 1 week is enough, weather was great a bit cloudy a few days, quite busy for April. We met some great people from Wales and London and would recommend it to anybody. Experience it for yourself!

Just returned from a week at the Mimosa Park and sad to say we won't be returning to this hotel. On the positive side, our rep Emma was very helpful and ensured that we made the most of our holiday and the various activities on offer both in the hotel and the surrounding area. We found the hotel to be clean and tidy with very cheery, helpful and polite staff throughout with the added bonus of being close to all amenities.

Now for the down side - this was our second visit, having been here 7 years previous. It is now around 30 years old and showing many signs of deterioration, mainly in its lack of any soundproofing between bedrooms and from the patio doors. We were awoken most nights either from the neighbouring guests' breathing/snoring, drunken youths on the pavement outside or the hysterical crying from a child on the other side of our room(next door). One couple told us of smoke coming through their wall from a guest next door and had to ask for the redundant radio panel to be sealed up as they could see into the next room!!!

The bar area permits smoking guests as you enter, but you have to walk through a screen of smoke to reach the non-smoking area - not pleasant. For a hotel of its size, there are only 2 lifts which are tiny and take ages to arrive, especially at meal times.

Thankfully, we discovered the fantastic walking/cycling track which runs from Palma to Santa Ponsa and set off on many walks in both directions from just outside the hotel entrance. Portals Nous, Port Adriana and Santa Ponsa/Costa del Calma were the highlights for us with plenty of opportunities for sightseeing and picture-taking on the way! You can even climb up to the top of the windmill at the roundabout as you approach the Santa Ponsa turn-off.

We love Mallorca and will definately return, but not to the Mimosa Park(unless we know it has been totally refurbished).

we recently stayed at this hotel in palma nova and we can honestly say that it was the WORST holiday we have ever been on.

!!

it was part of a cruise and stay package luckily for us the cruise was brilliant wish we could say the same for here.

when we first arrived, we went to check in and we were informed by the rude staff that we had only paid for half board, when in fact we had shelled out for all inclusive. after much deliberation, they decided to upgrade us for an extra fee! it was safe to say that from this moment on, things only got worse...

the floors of the hotel and lobby area were littered with sharp prickles off of the almost non-exsistent plants withering nearby. my sister frequently got these tac-like things stuck in her foot as nobody bothered sweeping the floors.

the outside pool bar was disgusting! when we had to queue for soft drinks, we were constantly competing/fleeing from the wasps who had taken over the drink pouring area, as the drinks had overspilled and yet again nobody had bothered cleaning it up. (also the cigarette vending machine in the lobby was very expensive)

several times throughout the holiday our snorkels were stolen along with an inflatable shark and numerous pool floaties. the lifts broke down twice in the week that we stayed; at one point my brother was trapped inside for an hour before anyone reported it.

the food:we were stuck down with food poisoning and had to call out a doctor who didnt come cheap. the scrambled eggs in the breakfast buffet resembled snot, quite frankly, and there was only one ice cream scoop to go around a fully booked hotel and all you had was a bucket to clean the scoop in after use (which was rarely ever cleaned so the water looked just as thick as the sludge on the beach).

eating in the evening was just as bad. after endless queuing for your repetitive food, the inadequate seating meant that our party of 6 had to eat outside. we were joined by unwanted visitors rubbing against our legs and frothing at the mouth as we dined - i am of course referring to the host of stray cats mimosa park has to offer as just one of its delightful surprises ;)

as "evening entertainment" goes, we agree with the other reviews, it really was butlins standards. the crew were dead keen on handing out "sunny medals" as part of a desperate bid to get you to join in with the laclustre frolics they had to offer. one particular evening we were loitering in the lobby when an x-rated version of Andy Pandy & Looby lou was shown on a pull-down projector screen. with young children wandering about i found this hardly appropriate.

the "childrens pool" if they can get away with calling it that, was no bigger than my paddling pool back home. also there was a shortage of sunbeds which meant that we had to search the top deck of the building for a place to sunbathe - "the sun terrace" played hosts to yet more prickles. this delighted my sister.

this shambles of a hotel drove us to our rooms most nights, where we enjoyed no air-con until we were forced to pay out more money - even though we were told it would be as standard.

when you add dead cockroaches on the stairs, cannabis smelling "gardens", angry-horny-drunk men coming onto your mum whilst taking advantage of the free bar from as early as 11am into the equation, you would certainly have to agree that Mimosa Park is a treat we wouldn't recommend to our worst enemy.

For the price we paid for an all inclusive holiday the quality of food and drink was excellent.

The rooms were very basic, but who goes away to spend that much time in them anyway, and the cleaner came in every day. We were also there when the furniture ended up in the pool and the reception flooded, but the staff soon cleared up and it was soon looking as if nothing had happened.

The entertainment was excellent too, but there isn't enough seating for everyone to see the evening shows, which is a shame as they were very good. The entertainment staff worked hard throughout the day too organising activities for families rather than just children, which was nice to see.

This hotel isn't luxury, but it provides more than expected for the price.

I enjoyed my time at the hotel as there was stuff for the kids to do. Am 16 and I joined in the kids activities which was brilliant. I also liked the mini disco at night but I only went up when the fav song cartoon heroes came on as all the adults did as well.

ROOMS: Very basic, only trouble is the walls as you can hear people and you can smell when they're smoking. When me and my mum went we just listened for next doors alarm to go off and that got us up in the morning.

FOOD: Ok but I was allergic to nearly everything. It is the same food almost everyday. Breakfast you would get a fry up and dinner there is plenty of salads, chips, meat and rolls.

ENTERTAINMENT: Was excellent, very friendly. Night entertainment was the best with all the shows and they get you to join in. Also bingo where you can win lots of money as I did. Emma was very friendly as well.

Would recommend you go and see pirates it is amazing. Also the water parks. I would recommend you also go half board as some of the food is not nice and under cooked as it made me sick one night. Put your towels out on a deck chair before you go for breakfast as they go quite fast. Yo need to wait ages on a lift so try and get a lower floor as I had the highest floor and usually I just walked up the stairs. But if your old get the 1st floor.

Well that's me wrote a book for you. Last of all enjoy your holiday.

7 Day stay on all inclusive basis. Hotel clean and well kept. Food choice and quality was very good could not fault anything. Always a seat available but at peak of season might be a capacity problem.

Room cleaned and towels etc.every day. Pool cleaned daily.

Palma Nova resort is OK with sandy beach and clean sea, lots of small shops selling tourist type items, prices quite low for ladies clothes and fashion items etc. Not far to walk into Magaluf (20 min) which is similar. Mostly English at hotel in family groups.

Entertainment was great for children, staff worked very hard. Daily quiz and cocktails in the pool area which was fun. Will be back again next year for sure.

Really good hotel stayed in 1st week of October when the tornado hit the hotel.

Room could have been cleaner as there were hairs on the floor on arrival but clean towels and sheets changed 3 times in one week even though they did not need it, probably sand.

Food was excellent, carvery every night and always found a seat. Unfortunately we went out every night as you could not find a seat after 7.15pm as all the all inclusive guests were in the bar.

After the tornado October 4th the maintenance staff were brilliant cleaning the pool and mopping up the flooded hotel. We asked the manager if this happens often (tornados) in Mallorca, he said NEVER before had he seen anything like this.

We liked the location as it was away from the main road but would have been unsuitable for anyone with walking problems. There is a supermarket next to the hotel where we stocked up on drinks and crisps for the kids as we went half board. Yes, we would stay there again.

The buffet was very good there was a lot of choice and plenty of seats the restaurant was also fairly smart and the waiters certainly kept on top of clearing the tables.

I thought that the room was very small and basic as it only had a bed, bathroom and a TV which was Spanish anyway, however the rooms were kept very clean, and the sheets and towels were changed every day.

The hotel entertainment was brilliant there was constantly something going on within the hotel. The entertainers had something for everyone and for all ages including

Children’s mini discos, bingo, mini golf, football, darts, pool etc, however a few of the late entertainment nights could have been better planned out.

I think the hotel could be made better by getting a few extra lifts and longer opening hours at the bars.

Just returned from Mimosa Park. Great hotel for 3 star, good choice of food (always hot), salads, pasta and lots of fresh fruit to choose from.

Rooms cleaned daily with clean towels on a daily basis, our beds very comfy. Staff could be friendlier but they work hard and never stop. Entertainment was great with something different every night. Animation team very friendly. Have been to other 3 star hotels in Spain where the food was always cold and the entertainment very poor.

Will return to Mimosa again as excellent value for money, deserves a 4 star (only outdated rooms let the hotel down) some people like to complain about anything. Perhaps they should go for 4 or 5 star instead.

Basically this is an english hotel. All visitors and entertainment staff are English which is good if that’s what you want. Very peaceful and chilled out this time of year, large pool with quiz time competitions during the day on your lounger.

Food was very good with plenty of choice including lots of fish dishes to try, which I like. Let’s face it that’s why we go all-inclusive so it’s all laid on for you, and everyone we spoke to enjoyed the food.

The rooms were basic with TV and cleaned daily. Entertainment was OK one night then excellent the next, hypnotist was the best night.

The beach was about a ten minute stroll away with some shops on route. All in all an excellent location with the benefit of being a 20-25 mins drive from airport. We got a taxi to save messing around at airport, the cost was about 33 euros each way and you’re in your room in half an hour.

Me and my boyfriend and 2 friends stayed here the first week of September.

We found the hotel really nice and in good reach of all the facilities: beach, bars, shops!

The food was good although seemed to be the same kind of food each night, but was always tasty.

The rooms were kept clean and fresh towels everyday which was really good.

The entertainment was ok, prize bingo everynight with good money.

I would recommend my friends and family members to this hotel anytime.
