After reading views of hotel honolulu on here, we were scared of what we might find. BUT, it was amazing! We had SUCH a good time. Ok, so its not for everyone (families & the older sort) but it was clean, the food was nice ( yes you get chips every day, but other bits too).... more

Stayed in the Honolulu from the 1st till 8th. Got there on Thursday afternoon dropped cases in and went for something to eat. The food was very poor, chips everyday me and my bf ended up eating out nearly everyday. Snacks were supposed to be on throughout the day and night... more

Holiday from hell from A TripAdvisor Member
What a nightmare, put on top floor with 2 children under 3 years, only 2 small lifts which don't always work. Paid for an all inclusive holiday but yet had to eat out for whole 10 days or our hold due to food being terrible! Kids club yeah right our eldest 3yrs was not encouraged to do anything not even dance, they rather watch her watching them without inviting her to join in. Poolside, well packed every day and fairly clean although we had the small road running between the hotel and the pool! plus the hotel being on top 2 steep hills and having the 72 steps to the front of the hotel! Noise well what can we say it's more like staying in Magaluf than palma, least you'd expect it in Magaluf, we could clearly see BCM from our balcony and we also had a small nightclub and a spring ball ride to the side of our balcony, it was so close we took pictures and got clear shots of their facial expressions! this was available till all hours night and day! more for the single people, young couples or families with older children. Won't be going back but check out other reviews b4 you decide

Spent a week from hell in the Honolulu. The hotel was dirty, everywhere smelled of cigarette smoke and the only designated non-smoking area was in the "lounge" right in the middle of the smokers! The staff were rude and unfriendly. The food was ok most of the time and I hated the "plastic glasses". Couldn't get round the pool area becasue of the rugby team, stag party and hen party. Entertainment very poor and during the day and didn't bother going in the bar at night because of the position of the non-smoking area. Won't be going back nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Stayed at the Honolulu for 2 weeks could not fault anything, the food was superb, hotel very clean spotless, rooms very clean and tidy which had excellent views, the entertainment was brillient playing in all the games which they had for adults and kids the entertainers themselves were lovely, MARTIN , EVERLINA, NINA, NADINE, superb with the kids, if thinking of staying here you will not be dissapointed as its an amazing place to stay, everyone is friendly, pool area superb for sunbathing, CANT WAIT TO GO BACK THERE NEXT YEAR, also a must see if you visit majorca go and book the pirates adventure great for kids and adults this show alone will make your holiday.

What can I say, Honolulu is a great hotel! I dont understand what some people are saying about the staff, they were all friendly to me and my family (especially Michael the lifeguard). Food was basic but you couldnt have asked for much more...the alcohol was great and the entertainment fun. Rooms were like the food...basic but that's all you really need for a holiday, after all who wants to spend their holiday in a hotel room!! I had such a great time last July that this year I am taking two of my mates to the Honolulu in 5 weeks time! YAY!

I and my friend have just spent a week at the hotel honolulu, in magaluf/palmanova.The hotel was spotless in every way,the rooms were very nice and clean.The food was also very good. I found the hotel staff to be helpful and friendly.At night there was entertainment, which may not suit every one but was entertaining enough. We enjoyed staying there,but if your bad on ones legs and have difficulty in walking its not rearly suitable,has there are two steep hills to climb and then a set of steps leading up to the hotel. there was a stairlift for disable people which was not in use.Overwise, its ideal for all ages and a very nice place to stay.

Yes, honolulu was a great hotel. The buffet was ok and i don't mmean to sound rude but the spanish over 80's was annoying. you'd be in the buffet que and they will push infront of you or take ages eating when there wasnt any seats. They was arrogant and owned the place. Also if your one for booze and have young children don't go there. Nearly every night i saw drunk men and women throw up and drive their little children in their push chairs into the elveator so the child would cry. The staff was great though, whrn it rained i played darts or went on the arcade games, and even shuffleboard. The rooms are tight for space if you have 3 people in one room but they are cosy. It is in a great location and the pool is nice, when warm.

We are a middle aged couple who fancied a relaxing but fun holiday! Although it was a while ago since we went we thought the hotel was fantastic. The views were great & the pool lovely. The staff were so friendly we even took photos of them to remind us! If you're polite & friendly to them you'll find they're great fun. The food was fabulous,great choices & always hot & delicious. The rooms were basic but how long to you spend in your room anyway? Once we were up in the morning we were out & about & didn't see the room untill late afternoon when we got ready for our evenings out! (which,may we add,were also very entertaining) The hotel's entertainment caters for all ages & we were happy to sit by the bar of an evening & watch the world go by!! In fact,we loved the Honolulu so much we've just booked up to go there next year & we can't wait! Hope to see you there!!!

Just come back from the honolulu, having read the reviews I was in two minds about taking my 15 month old son there, but I am so glad I did. Hotel is clean and well run, things do break down but were fixed immidiatly. Staff were fantastic, especialy in the restaraunt, the waitress' did not have too much english, but Branndon understood that they wanted to be his friend! As to rude bar staff, what a joke. Did the discontented customers try being polite to them? I will be returning soon and taking the rest of the family with me. As to comments about the place needing to be done up, well, it's happening now!

this was the best time ever, we went a couple of years ago and I can't believe some of the terrible reviews for this hotel! The staff were very friendly and sociable with us, the food was lovely, and the alcohol even better. I can still taste the tequila sunrise. we partied very night, met some really nice people and partied with them, all in all a fabulous time that we will always remember as one of our best holidays ever.
