Brilliant, the family are very friendly and accommodating. Food really good. Very good base for an ideal holiday. 5 euro taxi into town. Very busy road though. You can walk and a couple of pubs on way to break up journey.
Supermarket within 10 mins walk but just watch out for the first day when you think carrying 6 litres of water one mile is a good thing! Apartments very clean, plenty of friendly service, very nice people. Would go back again tomorrow.

A pleasant holiday was had by myself...

Aug 2007, Mrs B Anstey

A pleasant holiday was had by myself and my two boys. The apartments are lovely and spacious although basic. A good sizes pool area and lovely bar/restaurant. The family are all very nice and friendly.
The only draw back for myself was the distance in to Sidari. We had to use taxis all the time as my two boys couldn’t walk the distance and the fact that we had only two hand towels between three of us for a week.
All in all a lovely time was had. I would return to Sidari and the Goudelis apartments if it were just me without the boys because of the distance from the centre.

Aug 2007, Miss Emma Hope

When we arrived we were shown to the back rooms that face a dirt track. Room was very small and basic and the shower was disgusting - didn't work properly and didn't get hot until you left it running for at least 20 mins.
The rooms got very hot at night and we couldn't open our patio doors as this would leave the doors open to the dirt track, we enquired about hiring a fan - but they don't hire them.
Pool bar is very expensive - small glass of lemonade from a large bottle, normally flat - sets you back €2.
Pool nice but lots of wasps and bee's surrounding - I got stung!
Pool bar is dead at night - probably because no effort is made to keep you there!
Towels were only changed once in 10 days, we ran out of toilet roll and was begrudgingly given another one when we asked (would have walked to shop but it was a 20 min walk in 42 degrees!).
Apartment complex is not actually in Sidari it is just outside. Therefore we had to get a taxi to beach everyday and then a taxi back into town in the evening - we were spending €20 a day in taxi fares!
Me and my boyfriend are in our 20's and Sidari is a great place just don't stay at Goudelis!

The whole complex was kept very clean...

Aug 2007, Mr A Dyson

The whole complex was kept very clean and the room cleaned every other day to a very high standard. The pool was also kept very clean as was the bar and surrounding areas.
A bit out of town but we had a car so didn't have any problems. The food here was also very good and whilst not a lot of choice it was well cooked and presented.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful, we were over 12 hrs late due to flight delays but they put a board out for us with instructions so we soon got sorted out (at 4am).
Would suggest you hire a car as the Island is very beautiful and well worth exploring. Only down side is Corfu airport that is too small to cope with the amounts of passengers.
Highly recommended.

The apartments were far nicer than we...

Jul 2007, Miss CE Dunkley

The apartments were far nicer than we expected, very clean and spacious twin rooms. 3* status we guessed was awarded due to the lack of TV/radio and phones in the rooms, but we didn't miss them.
The family who run them are lovely, very friendly, and welcoming. The bar served reasonable food, though it's definitely worth finding a restaurant in town. The pool was lovely and clean, and relatively quiet, though this could have been due to the fact that we went just before school holidays started.
Sidari itself is everything you'd expect and want from a small Greek resort - lots of bars, restaurants, and tacky holiday shops. While the clubbing scene isn't exactly vibrant, there's still plenty on offer for those wanting to stay up drinking ouzo and dancing on the bars till the early hours! It's a short walk into town, but at 5 Euro for a taxi it's a small price to pay for the peace and quiet of being slightly out of the way.
The only real disappointment was the beach. No long stretches of golden sands here. Watch out, the sun loungers are up to 4 Euro a day, but you'll need one as the sand isn't exactly inviting. The sea is however, gorgeous and clear, and a novel hour or two can be spent giving yourself a natural facial on the clay rocks at Canal d'amour!
A lovely holiday all round, would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing holiday.

The Greek family who run these...

Jun 2007, Mrs J Wilsher

The Greek family who run these apartments are lovely people and did everything to make you welcome.
The rooms are nice and clean and was cleaned every other day. They are basic rooms but very nice. The beds are nice and clean. We had booked two apartments as we was told that all the family rooms had gone, and when we got there that was not the case and straight away Carol who ran the apartments said well that won’t be nice and got us a family room ready. Which sleep five.
They keep everything really clean the pool was lovely and clean and the water was warm. The view from the back of our room was very nice. You are away from the centre but this a good thing as at night you can have a quite sleep we spoke to allot of people in other apartments and they was up until 4pm some nights.
We got car hire it not that far and are only5e in a taxi anyway. I would stop at these apartments any day.

The Goudelis family accept you like...

Nov 2006, Mr C Smith

The Goudelis family accept you like your one of there own. Very warm, welcoming and good fun.
The accommodation was great, the times we ate at the apts were brilliant. Bbq on Thursday nights with late pool and bar. Although the bar normally closes when the people leave.

Sidari town is a little walk away, but that has the benefit of peace when it’s needed and partying when its not.
Plenty to do, snorkelling, scuba, mountain bike hire, car, scooter etc hire. I would recommend hiring something, as there are some beautiful areas to see not too far from Sidari, and the highest point is a must see (not in the dark at god knows what time in the morning in a soft top - scary stuff lol)
Thank you Billy, Caroline, spiros, Alex and the rest of the Goudelis gang, the families who travel from all over the world at the same time annually (you know who you are).
I would recommend this to any one, be it, family, couple or friends.
Lovely people, happy memories, sad to leave. Will be back again......watch for a post!!

The family that own the Goudelis...

Mar 2006, Mrs S Johnson

The family that own the Goudelis Apartments are wonderful people and make the holiday a fantastic. I first went to the Goudelis in June 2002 and have returned there every year since. There is a walk into the town, but I have three children and this have never put me off.
I would recommend a stop off at the Black Horse for the first drink of the evening. Athena is a good place to eat, but is well worth a visit to the Canal Du More and there are some really good restaurants and Bars there.
The Sidari water park is great value for the kids and with waitress service all day makes it very relaxing for us single moms.

Nov 2005, Mrs D Slater

Apartment was very nice and cleaned regularly. We found the family to be very nice, both friendly and accommodating.
Contrary to other reviews they do not hold it against you if decide to dine at other restaurants-we did this regularly and they were never anything other than good to us. Would recommend thoroughly

Aug 2005, Mrs S McDermott

The only problem we had was in the first week we got the wrong room so three people had to share a room but the next week we got a much bigger apartment. The pool was lovely but there wasn’t much else to do in the apartment. The restaurants and pubs were quite far away so we got a taxi every night. The nightlife is very lively and in nearly all of the clubs you walk in you get a free drink! The beach was great too. I recommend the oasis restaurant and the three little pigs because the food in both is gorgeous but you have to wait a while for the food in the three little pigs although it is worth the wait!!!

Jul 2005, Mr S Martin

What a lovely friendly place we found this to be. The apartments were basic but very adequate, after all how much time do you spend if them! The pool was large and kept very clean, the surrounding patio/garden area again very large with plenty of sun beds spaced out. There is a mini market within 5mins walk of the apartments and a further 15 mins to the Tavernas and bars. I would highly recommend the “Athena” restaurant and “Theo and Billies” bar, especially if you like your cocktails! These apartments are suitable for families and couples, if you’re looking for a lively retreat then you’re better off staying more central. The beaches are ok, sea was nice and warm. We did find a beautiful beach called “sunset beach” which was reachable via a 10min moped ride, do not leave Sidari without going there. We will be booking up again for 2006, see you there!!!

Apartments very basic run by a family...
8 / 10
Sep 2004, Mrs T Beadles

Apartments very basic run by a family who were very unfriendly unless you were buying and eating food at their bar.
The accommodation was about 30 to 40 minutes walk to the centre of Sidari so you are certainly kept fit.
The towels and bedding are only changed once a week, oh and take your own toilet rolls, as they are only provided once a week!!
