Holiday spoilt during first few days by,
1 Loutish, drunken behaviour and foul language by certain elements. Brochure stated family friendly.
2 Various faults with fittings. e.g. air conditioning malfunctioning (leaking),leg came off double bed and I ended up sleeping on floor for one night, hair dryer went on fire and we were twice locked in room when door handle came off.
Apart from above and despite the high cost of air conditioning (80 euros). we had a good holiday. The fact that the town appears to be 70% English owned gave little impression of the Greek way of life which was disappointing. Price of holiday was excessive. One sit entertainment was O.K. but F.C. staff showed no interest in us until last day. Would possibly return but with other operator.

cleAniness superb, staff fantastic, very welcoming, located near beautiful beach and many bars, shops and restaurants. Local people were very friendly and helpful. An island the Greeks can be very proud of. Stunning scenery
We travelled as a family of 5, 2 teens and a 8mth baby. We all had a fantastic time. I would love to return to this island in 5 years to see how it has changed. We hired a car for 4 days and covered the island with in that time although it was hectic we saw everything from the church in Zakynthos to the newly built aqua park. A lot of the journeys were up and around mountains giving you breath taking views of the island.
My only criticism would be booking into the airport home bound they only have one x-ray machine and we waited 2 hours to get into the airport, but then we were boarded and off within 40 mins. The islanders are very proud to safe guard there logger head turtles which unfortunately we didn’t get to see.

Apartments are basic 2 bedrooms no sitting room, kitchen in the bedroom which I found a bit weird!!! They were very clean and maids do a great job cleaning staff very friendly and helpful we have 2 young children and our flight wasn’t till late so we booked a late check out til 6.30 for 25 euros which I think is very good indeed!!!!!! (normal check out is 11.00).
Weather was great for us not to hot not to cold for the kids we went 27 sep til 4 Oct had one bad day when it rained and there was a bad storm but except for that was lovely. Airport is a very big down side and the reason I wouldn’t go back we sat on the floor in the tiny airport room for 2 hours because there is only about 25 seats very very very small airport beware!!!!!!!!!
