I loved this hotel. The staff were welcoming, very helpful and extremely friendly and lovely to talk to. The food was delicious, i didnt want to eat anywhere but at the hotel. The hotel was beautiful. It was decorated and furnished with gorgeous style. It is right next door to the best cafe/bar in the world, i still miss that cafe =( The night life at the hotel was brilliant for a family vacation. I loved having cocktails at night at the hotel ( and there was scrummy non-alcoholic cocktails for the pregnant women and kids) also you havent tasted ice-cream until you have had it at the hotel Milton! The pool was beautiful ( even it was decorated in the beautiful themes like the hotel )and never too crowded or busy. There were lots of tours available from the hotel to bring you to beautiful and fasinating parts of Italy. Everything was arranged simply for you so you don't get yourself stressed out! The rooms were all so lovely it was hard to leave them! The views were breath-taking and their is air conditioners so don't worry! The beach is also within minutes on foot and the hotel has deck chairs for you on the beach. Well as you can tell my stay at the Hotel Milton was a holiday of a life time and i fully intend on going back many time and i fully recommend it! You'd be crazy not to go, I have not even written my review to it's full potential there is no words to describe it GO AND EXPERIENCE IT!

Hotel Milton is a very pretty hotel and very well maintained, i did notice alot of people stopping to have their pictures taken at the front of the hotel...it is set in a busy area of Lido Di Jesolo, and may be bit noisy at night, but this never bothered any of my party my mother 76 and my niece 17 and me 43, and is very close to the beach, we had a wonderful relaxing holiday, the staff were extremely helpfull epecially Roberto, the restaurant manager, the food was excellent and plenty of, i also found the Cosmos reps were around alot, and very helpful, i would recommend this hotel and Cosmos to anyone, it's a must as far as holidays go!

Staff helpful and courteous and the hotel itself is very nice however, I found lido di jesolo too noisy at night. fine for the youngters or party people but not for someone who likes the quiet life.
Beach is good too, but too many peddlers trying to massage you or sell toot.

We have just spent a week in Hotel Milton, I (Grandma), daughter, and 2-year old granddaughter.
Lido di Jesolo is an ideal base for a beach holiday with a small child: it's flat, clean, friendly, and safe and has miles of beautiful sandy beach.
English is widely spoken, and any attempt to say some words in Italian gets a warm response. Small children, even when being sick or getting overtired, are looked upon fondly by the local people.
Hotel Milton is a relatively small hotel and has the atmosphere of a family run business, which we prefer to larger more impersonal hotels. The decor is 'Venetian style', ornate, chandeliers and flowers. Everything is spotlessly clean, including the garden, flowerbeds, and pool area.
The pool is not large, but the private section of beach is only a short walk away. Granddaughter loved the pretty garden with little waterfalls and shady areas. We went mid-May so the tourist season was just starting, the hotel was less than half full so the service was excellent; the weather was ideal, sunny every day but not humid or stifling hot.
Bedrooms are small. We booked 2 single beds plus put-u-up for baby, and got one double; but when we asked we were moved to another room, with nice little balcony overlooking the garden and pool.
Staff all very friendly and helpful. We had half board: breakfast was buffet style, wide selection, same every day. Evening meal offered choice of 3 main dishes, different each day, great if you like different kinds of fish which looked the best option each day.
We liked the hotel, but Mr Grumpy (English) and his wife at the table next to ours managed to complain about everything (from the colour of the toast to the fact there were no hills in the resort). He wasn't keen on granddaughter either, so staff were happy to oblige when we asked to move table.
Trips to Venice are easy, we went 3 times. Buy tickets from any tabacchi, bus from Nember Square to Ponte Sabbione, then boat to Venice. You can buy an all-in ticket which covers all travel for one day, so you can go from Jesolo to Venice, up and down the grand canal as often as you like, then boat from Venice to Murano, then another to Burano, then another to Ponte Sabbione and bus back to Jesolo.
This is a very full day and we got back too late for the evening meal, but we made good use of the day ticket! Cost is about 20 Euros each, small child free. Much better than an organised tour if you need to cater for the needs of a seasick little one.
Venice is not ideal for a pushchair as there are so many steps over bridges, but it's such an amazing place it's worth the arm-ache. When Venice gets packed hot and frantic, go to Murano and Burano: charming, pretty, small islands, more real-life than the exotic splendour of Venice.
Jesolo could be anywhere, standard modern seaside resort, hotels, bars, restaurants, shops, beach umbrellas, sunshine; but it's clean and well kept and ideal if you want a child friendly seaside location. Venice is a must; see it before it's lost to global warming.
All in all a tiring but enjoyable holiday. Thank you, Hotel Milton.
