My mum and I stayed here recently. The apartments were lovely clean spacious, we had 2 bedrooms. The complex itself was immaculate grass and grounds attended to most days.
The bus service to get around Menorca was excellent you can see most of the island this way and it's not that expensive. Must do visit is Ciutadella very elegant and chic.
We will definitely be going back early next year.

The apartment was excellent, very well equipped, especially the ceiling fans, ideal for a good nights sleep. Strongly recommend the Irish Bar, great food, great service, great people, also the Chinese restaurant (CHINOS) at the top of the street excellent food, really good value.
The pool was right outside the apartment which was great for our 3 sons, they loved it, the pool maintenance man was very professional, he takes his job very seriously, checking and cleaning the pool every day, it is the cleanest pool we have come across.
If you get the chance to go on the Mahon Moods trip, go its well worth the money.
The Maze is good fun for the kids, but you need plenty of time (took us about 90 minutes) mind you 30 of those were spent looking for the exit.
This is our second trip to Menorca, it is still a wonderful place, can’t wait to go back again.
Oh yeah one last thing, beware of the sprinklers that are switched on at night they caused us to run a few times and they ruin your clothes!

We had a great holiday; we have 2 young children and found this place to be great for them.
The pool was great. We had a 2-bedroom apartment, which had great space for us. Only problem we did find was when we had a shower or bath the floor became very, very slippy but that’s the only problem we had all holiday.
The food is stunning and well worth the money. The shop isn’t too far away and has a huge selection of items and food, which wasn’t too badly priced.
We enjoyed our holiday so much we are back there in a few weeks.

This was a lovely place. Pay a visit to the Kit-Kat bar and restaurant next door. The swimming pool is lovely. The service was good, we asked for extra pillow it was there in minutes, although the apartments would benefit from TV in them.
Worth visiting to Mahon and the harbour, cruise which is excellent, 10 out of 10. Beach is also first class. The bus service runs regularly and they are very friendly. Night time entertainment is very good - you must visit Son Bou.
We are going back for two weeks next year.

We had a great holiday and would recommend it.
Would recommend your own car as everything is spread out - we had a car which was prebooked as it is a lot pricier once you arrive.
Basic shopping, eating out, and ice cream is expensive but petrol and alcohol cheap!
Beach at Son Bou is perfect; we tried others on the island but none were 'better' .
A good play place for the children in the resort centre with various 'bouncy' things, bumper boats and bikes at about £1-£1.50 a go depending on how many 'go's' you buy- you purchase tickets, but if you buy a lot it is cheaper and the tickets last the whole season so buy them at the start of the stay if you plan to visit a lot- we went 4 times mainly in the evenings.
Our children are 7, 5, and 2 and we are vegetarians. did not really eat out- occasional snacks, but lots of brilliant ice creams!
Supermarkets very expensive, if you have a car find one of the hypermarkets as these have good choice and is around half the price of the small in resort ones! Allior (cannot remember the spelling) has one, and a brilliant bakery too!
Waterpark in Ciutadella- Aqua Centre was thoroughly enjoyed- I think it is actually in Cala n Blanes but you go to Ciutadella first... we went at 3pm and it was cheaper- 10e per adult and 6.50 per child otherwise its is almost double. It was open until 6.30pm and this was plenty of time- very small waterpark if you have visited others but still very fun. about 4 good slides with a selection for the little ones too.
Apartments were okay- not too small, good equipment- we had kettle, toaster, microwave etc and lots of plates, pans etc. they were very clean but they did feel quite old, with a slight musty smell! But they looked pretty on the outside.
Good pools but you were expected to buy from the bar/restaurant when using then pools... we just got a coke most times! You weren’t allowed your own food/drink in the area.
Did a glass bottom boat tour from Mahon for only about 40 Euros which was great.
Good flights, no problems - would recommend. Go and enjoy!

Very clean and quiet, long walk from most of facilities 15 to 20 minutes.
Choice of food and restaurants very poor all the same, ok. if you like chips etc.
Nice beach, go too far to the right and you will see lots of naturist and a few odd bods if you know what I mean, not particularly good for children in that area.
Generally it is a nice resort and well looked after gardens and pool for a quiet holiday.
Regular good bus service and cheap to Mahon and other places.
For the time of year we went 7-14 may the weather was beautiful 7 days of sun 80/s plus.
Please bear in mind we are in our late 50,s so maybe considered as a couple of old farts, but not really as we have 4 children with grand children who keep us on the ball so we are quite (cool) so we have been told.
Summing up I would say a nice resort, quiet, could do with more entertainment for children and a better choice or quality restaurants.

This was a very good resort. There was a good restaurant nearby, about 5 minutes away. The apartments are all privately owned, so some have more accessories.
There was a good Air con. system on our apartment, but some do not have Air Con. (Privately Owned thing).
There is a big Tobacconist nearby with cheap cigs, you can buy a pack of 10 1 ounce tobacco for around 40 euros (Cheap Tobacco, but nice), there is also a good general produce shop; with literally everything you will need in it.
The resort next door has all the entertainment, different everyday. I particularly enjoyed the Blues brother’s tribute.
At the same hotel where the entertainment is, there is a Cyber net Café and a pooltable/airhockey games room. There are several pools you can use, as well as sun beds.

Excellent apartments, very quiet at this time of year, like having a private pool. We had a hire car, and could please ourselves, travel out at night, see the towns at night, visit local hotels, and restaurants, you cannot fail to love it. We’ve travelled to Minorca many times before and previously stayed at the San Valentin which is just up the hill from these apartments. Its first class, but with the rug rats starting to outgrow us, the apartments are the perfect place to stay, two separate bedrooms and a sofa bed. Full oven, fridge freezer, everything you need. The resort has grown considerably since we started going there, but is still quiet enough. Beach superb, don’t wander to far right, you’ll see more than most would wish. Still plenty of room of all. Enjoy.

The main pool was great for younger children with a large shallow area, but we did find that at 9.30 all the sun beds were covered in towels with most people not showing up until 11.30, very annoying and I have to say it was the British holiday makers who were the worst. We complained to hotel reception and the day we were leaving they were going to put up signs asking people not to do this.
The journey to the beach was quite long, about 20 mins walk which is ok but when it was very hot (most days) and you have two small children with you it was hard work, there was a train/bus that did the journey but this cost 2 Euros per person. With the exchange rate being so bad it's hard to comment on local prices fairly, they were what we expected I suppose but the exchange rate made everything expensive.
The beach is amazing, beautiful soft sand, warm, clear water, lots of pedallos with slides and things to do if you want to.
Our Thompson Rep, Nicola was brilliant, she knew the area very well and was available to talk to virtually every day.
We hired a car for four days, expensive as we didn't pre-book, getting around the Island is easy as it's so small, and it's worth checking out different areas, some of the scenery on the north coast is spectacular especially the lighthouse at Cap de Cavalleria and Arenal D'en Castell.
A lot of people on the Girasols complex had been going there for years and I can see why.
Good for: Beach
