Galley Bay Resort Reviews
" I married my lovely wife on the beach... "
Submitted By: Mr EH Holroyd
I married my lovely wife on the beach at Galley Bay in 2004. The staff arranged everything from the service, floral displays and button holes to the cake and champagne..... We didn't have to lift a finger. We were made to feel like royalty from start to finish. The pristine beach at sunset added to the special occasion. The accommodation was superb, the fridge was filled up as often as you wanted, all as part of the "All Inclusive" price ticket. The added advantage of Galley Bay is they only allow 1 wedding per day so it's not like the sausage factory weddings we witnessed at other resorts.
My wife and I enjoyed it so much we are going back this September (by British Airways) and will report on our return

" This hotel is absolutely fantastic.... "

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. The staff were very friendly and went out of the way to accommodate our every need.

The apartments were lovely and a bit unusual (secluded clay-built, thatched roofed cottages), which all added to the charm.
The hotel has its own bay with a white-sand beach. Although we went at peak time, it felt as though there were only a handful of guests at anyone time, which gave an extra sense of exclusivity.

I would highly recommend Galley Bay and Antigua!
" What a great way to spend 6 months... "
Submitted By: Mrs L Coxon
What a great way to spend 6 months wages!!! Service was as we’ve never experienced before. 14 course breakfasts made to order as you wished, endless high quality snacks & drinks from morning till evening & as for evening meals, well.....you could even arrange to have your own candle-lit open hut on the edge of the beach while being waited on with food that was out of this world.
First class resort - adults only, perfect for honeymooners & those wanting time together. Beautiful, clean resort and fabulous staff.

When we asked for just water and fresh fruit juice in the fridge they immediately emptied out all the soft drinks and beer and loaded it full as per our request.
The resort still has that laid back, take life easy attitude.
The standard of food stands shoulder to shoulder with the great restaurants of London and Paris.
The resort is undergoing some changes, namely an increase in the number of Premium Beachfront Apartments and a third restaurant ... this can only bode well for people who wish to taste this little bit of luxury.
Yes it’s expensive but you get what you pay for and it's worth every penny.
I must at the same time thank British Airways who arranged this Holiday... Ladies and Gentlemen, your service was exemplary. 5 gold stars to both airline and resort.
