Kennedy Hotel Reviews
BEST HOLIDAY EVER!!!!!!
The hotel was basic but clean with staff willing to put themselves out; most of the staff were friendly with good English and willing to help those who wanted to use a bit of Italian.
The local area had a good mix of shops, restaurants and bars. The road was shut for traffic after 8pm making it nice and safe to enjoy a walk around the town.
The beach was clean with plenty of seating and ample toilets and showers. I would strongly recommend this place for all sorts of holidaymakers
Can’t wait to go back!

Myself and boyfriend have just returned from a weeks stay in The Kennedy Hotel and thought it was fantastic.
The rooms were basic and not huge but they were clean, tidy and sufficed nicely for our needs. The hotel staff were second to none, they were polite, friendly, helpful and always wanted to chat and offer their help and their welcome.
While we were there we got chatting to several people who have come back to the Kennedy time and time again and I can see why.
The pool is a nice size and has beds and brollys and a children’s part of the pool but if you prefer the beach you're in luck, you are within stones throw of the beach where each hotel has its own allocated space and beds for free plus a brolly.
The beach is well kept, nice and clean with plenty of places to eat, drink, cool off or clean up! All you need conveniently all around you!
Back to the hotel, you are situated between 2 lovely piazzas which are closed off to all traffic from roughly 8pm to 6am every night making it a pleasant place to stroll and take in the shops, restaurants and local sellers and performers. If you don't want to move from the hotel we had 3 nights of live entertainment which catered for all ages and nationalities and drew crowds of people to stop and watch on the street or come in and join in the fun.
On the nights when there is no entertainment it can be a bit quiet but it was nice to relax some nights and the staff although slower paced than I’m used to in Manchester were amongst the friendliest I’ve ever dealt with!
I found the food lovely, I didn’t expect it to be as nice as it was, basic but a good choice of well cooked, tasty food every night and a light offering for breakfast catering for hot with bacon and eggs, light cereal or croissants, meats, cheeses etc,
All in all a really nice stay and somewhere that when I’ve done a bit more exploring i would love to come back to and visit.
Thank you Bruno and staff xx

I can recall reading on a review which stated the Hotel Kennedy could only justify a 2* rating. That would be flattering it!
The Hotel has stained carpets in the corridors, the Hotel lift had graffiti all around it, and the whole place is dreary, lifeless and scruffy. If it has had a facelift I dread to think what it was like previously.
As a non smoker my whole weeks "experience” was not enhanced by the constant smell of cigarette smoke wafting in from the corridor. The restaurant was something else! The processed food was boring unimaginative main courses accompanied by boring salad every night.
Every night saw the arrival of various large parties staying on a B&B basis consisting mainly of noisy teenagers. Invariably halfway through our meal when they arrived ,the restaurant staff practically threw us out especially if we ordered coffee after our meal as the groups seemed to be "more deserving " of their attention. One of the waitresses in her mid 20s was morose, unfriendly and practically threw the plates down on the table when serving.
The whole unhappy situation was compounded by the fact that Newmarket changed our holiday date to the 24th Sept 2006, which very neatly coincided with the "tail end” of the season and very kindly withdrew their rep. the week previous.
To say that at night there was nothing to do is an understatement of epic proportions. The only saving grace were the 3 tours we had booked beforehand to Venice, Verona and a wine tasting trip to Trevisio. Fortunately they were on alternate days and saved the holiday from being one of our worst holiday experiences ever.
My advice???... if you are thinking of visiting Lido Di Jesolo ,I would not recommend the Hotel Kennedy not even for B&B ,also be very careful of the dates you chose to visit especially if you are considering towards the end of September.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Hotel Kennedy. It's a small, family run hotel with friendly staff and in a good location for exploring the surrounding area. The rooms are compact and basic, however they're cleaned every day and fresh towels provided. Air Conditioning is 5€ per day but it's worth it as the system is quite modern and keeps the room very cool.
The only gripes we had were that the food was far too basic, we ate out 6 of the 7 nights which was a bit of a pain after paying for half board, but there are plenty of good reasonably priced restaurants a short walk from the hotel. Also, the housekeeping staff tended to arrive between noon and 3pm which is just about the time you may want to take a nap after a morning in the sun!
In conclusion, the Hotel Kennedy is a good base if you just want somewhere to sleep at night after exploring the surrounding area. The staff are friendly, the hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean and the bars and restaurants around the hotel are great value for money.

Friendly family run hotel. Rooms small and basic, air con for an additional charge but worth it. Rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels.
Breakfast fine but evening meal a bit disappointing - treated ourselves to the many restaurants down the street! Beach only a stone throw away and swimming pool clean if you get fed up of the hot sand. Have to admit one of the best hotel bars in our area and every nationality welcome.
Would definitely go back to this hotel but would only go for B&B not half board.

The hotel Kennedy was a warm and friendly hotel, all the staff were very helpful.
The rooms were basic but all you needed and were cleaned on a daily basis without fail. Air conditioning was in all the rooms but was at an extra cost but worth every penny after a hot day on the beach! Beach very handy and very well organised.
We went half board which was breakfast and evening meal, food was fantastic and there was lots of choice.
I will definitely be going back next year! <br>

This is our favourite hotel in Lido Di Jesolo. We have been here three times now. A very friendly family run hotel with just about everything you can wish for in a beach holiday.
Just fifty yards from a lovely stretch of sandy beach, right on the blue Adriatic. Two minutes walk to the shops, and five minutes walk to the bus stop that will take you into in to Punto Sabbioni where for a few Euros you can catch a boat to Venice.
The public transportation services are excellent and cheap, with interconnecting services between buses and the lagoon steamers. We recommend that you visit the islands of Burano, Murano, and Torcello on your trip! Have fun.

Have just returned from a one week stay here. Hotel is comfortable albeit basic and staff are very helpful and speak good english. You get free use of a safety deposit box in the room and air conditioning is 5 euro per day but worth it !
The stair carpets have seen better days and could do with replacing. they are stained and frayed in places.
Food is basic with a choice given to you each evening for what you want the following evening. As you would expect pasta is always there as a starter with alternative being soup or fruit juice. Main course is either meat (pork or chicken invariably), fish course or for the veggie, omelette. You can then help yourself to the buffet bar which consists of salad, rice etc. Dessert will be mixed ice cream, cheese, and maybe a pudding of some kind.
There is a swimming pool onthe 1st floor which is kept clean and there is usually somewhere to rest around the pool. Alternatively use the beach with there regimented layout of sunbed, deckchairs and parasols (you gat a ticket from reception when you arrive telling you which part of the beach you can use for free).
Overall a reasonable stay with plenty of bars, restaurants in the area if you feel like a change
