The recently refurbished Hotel Cesare Augustus is superbly situated overlooking Jesolos 15 km beach. The interior furnishings are excellent and the hotel is kept in an immaculate condition throughout. In the morning breakfarst is served by the pool and in the evening the resturaunt provides a wide range of delicious meals. The small garden fronting the hotel is an oasis of peace and the beach is just a few steps away. Deck chairs and sun beds are provided but, as elsewhere in Italy, these must be paid for.
The accommodation at the Cesare Augustus is excellent but what makes htis hotel special is the warm and friendly attitude of the staff who all go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The Cesare Augustus is an excellent choice for mature couples seeking a paeceful holiday out of season. It is convenient for all of Jesolos shops and resturaunts and makes an ideal base for visiting Venice or touring the Veneto region.

The hotel was in a great location, it was very easy to get around on foot. The beach was just a step away from the pool, sunloungers poolside are available for €3 per day. The deck chairs on the beach are free to use, again sunloungers on the beach are available for €5 per day. Take beach towels with you.
The rooms tend to be a little smaller in Italy but still a reasonable size. Hairdryers tend to blow up though! Advisable to use the hairdryer in the bathroom.
Mosquitoes are out in force so it is advisable to take plenty of mosquito repellent with you.
The food was good, I wouldn't say excellent as I am a vegetarian and therefore restricted on what I could eat but there was still plenty of choice. Breakfast is served in the patio by the pool and again, plenty of variety from fresh fruit, cereal, bread & rolls, bacon, sausages, eggs, croissants, pancakes, etc.
I recommend visits to Venice, Lake Garda, The Dolomites & Jesolo Market on a Friday morning. It is easy to get around on the buses.
I had a fab stay at the Cesare Augustus and it was money well spent. I would definetly recommend this hotel and do not have a bad word to say about it.
Hope to stay there again sometime in the future.

Just got home from an absolutely fantastic holiday at the Cesare Augustus. Hotel was lovely, pool area superb, the best i've seen in a long while. The hotel has been recently refurbished and is done wonderfully. The room we stayed in was on the small side but that hardly mattered as it was fully equiped with everything you could possibly need. We had a side view of the beach which was beautiful. The food was lovely, if a little repetitive, but there was so much choice you would be able to eat something different every night. The staff in the hotel are all very helpful. The resort is lovely, and Venice is in easy reach. We bought a ticket for the bus and the boat to Venice for 20 euros in the tabacconists. I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly.

Absolutely nothing to complain about! The hotel looks great from the outside, and although slightly dated inside is very comfortable and clean.
The rooms vary; we had a partial sea view room with a lovely balcony. The room wasn't huge, but fairly standard for Italy and had everything we needed.
The food was good, after two weeks it became repetitive but no complaints about the quality or quantity. You are placed on set tables in the dining room which may be a problem for people who don't want to sit with strangers, but everyone was very friendly. The waiting staff were very helpful and efficient, the wine waiters slightly less so and the head waiter seemed fairly indifferent to the guests unless they were elderly Italian women!
The pool area was very clean and well looked after, chairs and umbrellas to hire for the whole day but we spent most of the time on the beach where the deck chairs and umbrellas were free. The beach was amazing, right in front of the hotel and always kept clean and tidy. The bar staff at the hotel were great and everyone spoke enough English for us not to have any communication problems.
We would definitely recommend hiring a bike and cycling along the main strip behind the hotel, a great way to spend a few hours and see much more of the area than you would on foot. There is a waterpark within walking distance, but is definitely aimed more at the kids than adults.
Lots of bars and restaurants along the main strip, so plenty of choice if the hotel food doesn’t do it for you! It is an ideal base to explore Venice from, we found it very easy to purchase tickets from a local tobacconist for less than 20 Euros, and this got us on the bus and then boat to Venice and back again, excellent value and you have much more freedom to explore than with the tour agent trips.
Overall, a fantastic holiday, suitable for adult couples as well as families and friends, and we would definitely return!

This is the best holiday I've ever had. The people in this hotel are some of the nicest people you will ever find! The town is fantastic, it is extremely safe and very child friendly. The food is really good, but I didn't like the choice at breakfast, but please don't let this put you off going here, as it is such an exceptional place. The weather was beautiful and the rooms were very good. If you do go here, enjoy your holiday as I had an absolute blast!

My husband and I had a wonderful holiday here. The food was fantastic! A great range of wonderfully fresh seafood, authentic Italian tastes as well as simple steaks grilled fresh in front of you at the buffet table.
There was something for everyone's tastes. Although the rooms were quite small I understand Italian hotels generally are smaller then some other European countries. A very nice pool area, and situated right on the beach. Lots of great shops around and easy access to some of the beautiful parts of Italy such as Venice (which must be seen to be believed), Verona and Lake Garda.
A great holiday. I would go back in a flash!

Decent all round although just missing out, The food is nowhere near as good as they seem to think it is and does not compare to Thomson Gold standard. It is too fancy and would be better if it was more wholesome. The way it is spread out results in it being lukewarm by the time you reach the table. Overall this hotel is moderate. The beach and facilities are perhaps its saving grace. Staff quite friendly. I would go again only if it were half the price. To be honest it is not worth the money.

Went to the Cesare Augustus last July with my husband, twin boys (5) and the in-laws. It was our third time to the rest but our second time to the hotel. Yet again we had a fantastic holiday, even better than the first time. Ideally located on the beach, the pool is fantastic and the resort itself is family friendly for those with young children.
We had such a good time that we have acutally booked to go again in August of this year.
