We came back from Club nergis beach on the 3rd of October and i have to say it was dreadful, the food was disgusting and the same thing every day,i thought i was in russia with all the russians, and they are such ignorant people, really arrogent and loud,we had a few arguments with a few of them, in the 'CHILDRENS'pool there was a big group of russian men and women in there 20-30s drinking loads and coming down the slide drunk and puttin children at risk of being hurt, we had to take our 2 year old little boy out of the pool he couldnt play in there because of them,i found them very rude, some of the staff in the hotel were lovely couldnt fault them but others and people on the reception were arrogent and unhelpful, the holiday is not for children at all and i woudldnt recomend it, the local men there i found very sleezy and made my skin crawl. very dissopointed.

We arrived at the hotel at about 1am. We were greeted well and were shown to our rooms pretty much straight away without any waiting about.
We speant most of our time on the beach as the pool was quite busy. There is a lovely security guard outside the hotel near the beach - do talk to him!
The quality of food depends on what you like. I'm a fussy eater and so was happy with chicken and chips. However, there did appear to be a variety of different foods on offer and it was always hot.
The staff were fantastic - always smiling and saying hello. If you have any problems they deal with them straight away and do their best to make you happy. I've never seen people work so hard in my life - always tidying up and collecting glasses both at the hotel and on the beach.
The only issue i had was in fact with the beach. I recomend you wear sandles in the sea as it is quite uneven and stoney when you go into it.
I strongly suggest you go to this hotel. It was by far the best holiday I've been on and cant wait to go back.

My daughter and I (56 and 35)booked the Nergis ( mid july 2010) as we knew it was central and we were new to Turkey.
We were housed in the block nearest the beach which was a good overall location.
We found the place very clean and the staff friendly and accomodating.
Our room was a bit 'tired' as some people have said, but that meant we could relax. The sheets were clean, water hot and aircon worked a treat (and much needed as it was 50 degrees!)
The food was plentiful and yes, perhaps a bit boring...but a visit to a large supermarket showed that actually the people have a poor selection of food all round. We always found something we liked and there was plenty to drink from tea to alcohol.
Our only moan was nothing to do with the Hotel but to do with some of the idiots that book there.
There was a lot of noise from not only our hotel but the surrounding ones...however we soon 'tuned' them out...what we could NOT tune out was a bunch of Brits who came 'home' at 5 am and proceeded to hammer on all the doors, next night headbanging all the doors and the next just banging on them till someone woke up. Due to the way the Hotel is built this noise was bloody awfull and we suffered a bit of sleep depravation. I believe the idiots were asked to leave eventually. It was not only Brits though, I believe a group of Russians took over the pool with water guns and fired them at the sunbathers and staff. I suppose the Hotel could try to refuse any large parties of young people as some other places do.
All in all the central location was great for us as we are not 'fry by the pool' people and prefer to get out and about. We loved the Taxi boats, loved the Sunsplash trip and the trip to the mudbaths. We went over to Rhodes twice (a place I already love)and also had a Turkish bath. The ONLY dissapointement was the Jeep Safari, it was NOT as advertised and was just an excuse for the people running it to have a water fight...we would not have gone on it had we known. We are not spoil sports and would have gladly joined in had we wanted that kind of trip...but we were soaked, our camera's had to be protected and frankly the drivers went a bit silly in one dried up riverbed. The silly thing is that the actual places they took us to were lovely and we felt the excursion just did not warrent a water fight!
Would I go to Turkey again? YES! Would I go to that Hotel again? Maybe, but that is only because I may choose a quieter location now that I am familiar with Marmaris.

Perfect location. Really close to the shops and the beach.
Staff all very friendly except for the floor cleaners.
Food very good except for their idea of breakfast (try the omlets).
bar closes at 1100 not good for me.
Tables cleared away constantly no dirty plates etc left.
Entertainment good during the day but night time poor.
Only downside was the other guest the Russians, bad manners, eat like pigs wasting food and shovelling it in as though its their last meal.

I have just come back from the club nergis beach and was very disapointed with the hotel lack of facilities for disabled people, there were to many steps for my wife to climb as there is 3 apartment blocks in the complex, no access to swimming pool for disabled, only one disabled toilet in all 3 blocks, the food was the much the same every day, okay if you like junk food, i felt that most of the meat on offer was processed that had no flavour at all,the local alchol drinks was poor no variety in choice and poor measures, the location of the hotel was perfect right on the beach, for wheelchair uses planning an holiday to the club nergis beach give it a pass!!!! overral if someone paid me to go back to the club nergis i would not bother.

we stayed in the hotel its a nice hotel brilliant for the beach and night life and the shops. The entertainment threw the day was good crack with billie and hakan, they were very friendly hard worken lads. There should be more sunbeds availiable, the bottom bar should be open .the food was ok but could have a lot more choice a bit more of english food . rooms were tidy clean towels everyday that was good.turkish bath and massage in the hotel was great.was a bit mad that we couldnt keep our rooms on they kept us waiten 2 hours just to let us know we couldnt keep it.her attitude was discusting actually.i do agree about people putten towels on sunbeds and not using them .i enjoyed my stay we've already booked for next september, hope bilal is still worken there he was a brilliant lad very good worker and had time for you ,hope our suggestions get looked at to help the hotel ,also it was good you could get your pictures took in your hotel.
Thank you.

We spent a fortnght at the Nergis Beach in early August. It was our second stay, having been last October. Our girls aged 10 and 8 absolutely love this hotel and want to return next year! On the whole we were very happy and had a very restful holiday. I dont really understand how people can complain about the food - we could always find something we liked, there was a good choice of salads available every day alongside the hot dishes, also soup with lovely fresh bread, including a turkish flatbread that was delicious. The drinks were fine, ok they were local brands but measures were good and the bar service was great, never had to wait. The restaurant, bar and waiting staff were brilliant, tables were cleared immediately and they were always happy and smiling, despite working long, long hours there. The animation team were great, particularly the young girl Seda who was fantastic with the little ones. We didn't like the plastic cups around the pool bar in the evening but then we wouldnt want to tread on broken glass the next day. Our room was ok, had all we needed, if a little tired and the cleaning was great, clean towels every day, bedding changed when necessary and the hotel was always being cleaned. The sunbed situation is the same wherever you go, you need to be up at the crack of dawn to get one!! Having said that, I did see a member of staff removing towels that had been left for more than an hour at one stage! We loved being able to almost step onto the beach from the hotel, a real bonus being so close by. We liked the fact that there were security staff on both entrances to the hotel, this was reinforced when some young lads were moaning that they were not able to bring their new "friends" back to the hotel in the early hours!!!! All in all we really enjoyed our second visit to the Nergis Beach Club and would definitely recommend it to others.

Just got home after 2 weeks at the Club Nergis Beach Hotel MARMARIS.
Hotel is part of a brilliant complex (4 blocks) we had paid extra for a "family apartment" which although basic was kept clean and free air con made it very comfortable.
Main problem was because the hotel is so big there was no *personal touch* you find with smaller ones, as i was with a friend we found that some of the younger male staff (although very polite) took almost the full 2 weeks to recognise that we were just single women enjoying a well earned holiday and not women looking to take home a new beau' it wasnt they made a nuisance of themselves it fact it was quite the opposite they made us feel as they were to scared to be friendly incase we "read it wrong" but we realise that some women do give others a bad impression.
The food although very repetative was always well presented, plentyful and enjoyable.
The hotel would benefit greatly from a more proffesional animation/entertainment team, even though the lads that sang/danced/played the music by the pools were trying to please, they were not as good and entertaining as others i have seen.
Hotel maids were in one word *brilliant* very obliging if we needed help and kept our apartment spotless, and we enjoyed all the flower petals and fancy towel placing every time they had been into our rooms---great.
Dissapointed with not being able to get sun beds due to usual early risers grabbing then all and, even though a polite notice told everyone not to put towels on until they were ready to use the beds this notice was ignored completely and nothing seemed to be done to rectify the situ, one couple (not English) had the same "prime position" sun beds for the whole of their stay and literally dead-eyed anyone else (me)who dared enroach on their territory even the staff were bossed by them, not very good but i realise it was no fault of the hotel.

hotel its self is fantastic.Location the best.Staff very good the best one was ozzie the barman who kept us all in stitches all day.Now for the bad bits.FOOD the worst ever only cater for the russians they get served first get all the glasses when they want a drink we the british were given little plastic or paper cups the type you get water in from the machines. At meal times it was like BUTLINS the russians stood outside the restaurant 20 minutes befor the start time and sat at the table stuffing them selves the whole time the meal was on.We had to get our meal(if you could find something to eat) and sit on a sunbed to eat it.The STAGE area where the entertainment was held was 6feet from the main road you could not hear anything
