We have been to Asena 5 times since 2004, and every year it gets a little better. The staff are friendly, helpful and entertaining.
The new pool complex and reception shows how serious they are about keeping guests happy and entertained.
Look forward to returning again later this year.
- Advice: Don't sit at your hotel all day, get out on some of the excursions.

Went on a four night, five day short break with my mum for a girly holiday.
I honestly could not fault this place. The rooms are basic but clean and maid service every day! We even had flowers put on our bed and towel arranged in a pretty pattern which you dont expect from a lower starred hotel.
The food was lovely, we went on a half board basis.
The evening entertainment was not all that great but it is literally a five minute walk into Hisaronu where there is a strip of clubs, bars and restaurants.
You can get the dalmas (local bus) from Hisaronu which costs just under 3tl one way to Oludeniz which is beautiful, although i highly recommend buying jelly shoes to go in the sea with as it is stony and hurts!
All in all a lovely hotel, with great staff who could not do enough to help you!
One last bonus for us was an adult only pool which meant that you could stay away from the kiddies if you wanted to and have a rest.

It was my second time back at this hotel and loved it more than the first time. The hotel soo clean and the food and staff are brilliant. The cleaners clean the room everyday. I will be booking again for next year. Everyone i spoke to while i was there said that they had been to this hotel previously before and wanted to come back again. See you all soon asena boys crew lol

Me and my family booked this hotel by mistake, it should have been the sister hotel. It was the best thing we had done in getting where we were. It is like centre parcs in the sun. The staff were friendly, the hotel clean, the rooms were brilliant, even the entertainment staff were polite and friendly, including the kids club staff member. It was not expensive as others say. It was that good that we have booked again for October and are looking at booking next year aswell. It was close to the town for a walk after our meal and a quick drink before bed, then back to the hotel for a really good laugh. I dont know anywhere you can get a good hotel, good staff, good food, good weather and everything you want from a hotel and holiday like that. Very recommended to everyone for a good all rounder holiday.

First time in Turkey and was very apprehensive, but from start to finish i loved this holiday. The staff were so very friendly. Everyone was so friendly from the shop staff, Photographer Mehmet, who took the most wonderful photos of us to the Entertainment staff, Serteq, Kadir, Emrah and David, Such lovely people. The room was basic but cleaned everyday. The pool was amazing with its slides and the quiet pool was lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle. The food for half board was a very high standard, and the Roast dinner was best ever had abroad and a must is BBQ night... delicious. Very close to the centre of Hisaronu which had great bars etc. Market on a Monday sooo cheap especially for the men wanting Genuine fake designer, washed up lovely. But a MUST on a holiday to Hisaronu is The Jeep safari, it was an all daty trip for £9 with lunch and i defy anyone to not enjoy this, it was fun fun fun from start to finish for young and old, but be prepared to get very wet and make sure you buy or take some sort of watergun with you :-)
Im sure you will have nothing but a pleasant time here

Just returned from a 2 week break at the Asena Village at the end of june 2010. The rooms are basic and we booked a family room which should have included a large lounge area with sofa beds, we actually got 2 bedrooms with nowhere to sit, balconies are tiny and not suitable for the amount of people in the accommodation. The pool area is really good with the added extra this year of slides which amused my children for hours, the service at the hotel is second to none and nothing is too much trouble from all the staff. Drinks are very expensive we were paying 9 tl for a bacardi and coke (which was the same measure as in England or smaller!!!) JD and coke was 14tl!! Watch the drinks in the restaurant one lady sent hers back 3 times because there was no vodka in her drink! The food at the poolside bar is expensive 7tl for chips and ice creams were also expensive. The hotel does not allow you to bring any food or drink into the hotel and conducts searches as you come in the hotel. Water is 3.75tl from the pool bar, 2.5tl from the hotel shop and .5 from the local supermarket. You have to get up early to get a sunbed sometimes at 8am there were none left. The entertainment staff were fantastic as were the poolside staff. We were only B&B and stopped in the hotel for a few meals which were very good, do not miss Turkish night a fantastic night of fun. When we arrived at 4am we were asked to pay for the air conditioning £3 per day and the safe £1 per day so before we;d even booked in it had cost us! We spent over £1000 in 2 weeks on lunchtime snacks, ice creams and drinks (Which we didnt have many of). Whilst we were there it was my birthday and my husband arranged a cake - they charged us 26tl and added it to our bill. Weather was great with a lovely breeze only a short walk into the town where there are many bars and restaurants, Del Boys is good and The Butterfly. Wouldnt go back because it was so expensive which is a shame as my son said it was the best hotel he'd ever been to!!!

My family and me have recently stayed at Asena, and can honestly say it is the best hotel we have ever been to! We have been twice this year as we couldnt wait another year to go back! we heard about asena through friends we met in Ibiza, and told them all about turkey so they visited the same year as us, staying a short while from our hotel. we visited them and were amazed at how lively and family oriented this hotel was compared to ours! This was in 2007, we returned in july this year and couldnt have wished for a better holiday, the staff are amazing, so friendly and kind, so much so that my twin sister and i are booked up for 2010 for a whole 10 weeks at asena :D. I think the small majority of bad reviews have simply just had a bit of a rubbish holiday, with no fault of the hotel as far as im concerned, the good reviews far out way the bad!! The food is great, especially the sunday roast. There are lots of games during the day around the pool and music from the pool bar to get everyone in the summer mood, my sister and fiance and their two year old niece were with us in july and she loved it!The themed nights are really entertaining too. It really has to be experienced though, not by reading our reviews, i guarantee a fantastic holiday!! xxx

This hotel for the money has got to be one of the best.we stayed at asena village room 121,right by the pool, this september,it was one of the best holidays we have had.My grandaughter aged 10 did not want to come home.Breakfast was good plenty of choice, dont know about half board, but didnt hear any complaints.Hotel very clean, rooms basic but very clean@tidy.Asena boys were great, couldnt do enough for you.Places to go to,Billys Beach is the best place.Good food, cheap prices for beds, umbrellas for free, water is clean better than Star beach.Places to eat Hisoronu,Cheers restuarant,Turkish Ivy,Chinese above Azda supermarket superb. All in All a great holiday, downsides loud music around pool.
Have already booked for September 2010 Asena Village.Give it a try,you might have a pleasant surprise.

I have just returned from a holiday in the Asena Village hotel on the 11th of September. I cant believe some of the bad reviews i have read, i can honestly say that its the nicest hotel i have stayed at in a long long time. First of all the rooms were lovely, the bed sheets are changed everyday the floors are hoovered and washed everyday and the bathroom is kept clean. The only downside about the bathroom is that every so often you get a smell of the sewers and it comes up through the sink, but it wernt so bad that we couldnt shower in there! The staff in the hotel are lovely, they make your stay at the hotel very enjoyable, maybe sometimes a little bit over the top in the mornings at breakfast. At the hotel they have a card system which means that instead of spending money at the hotel you give the card and at the end of your holiday you pay off your balance. The card system makes you think that your not spending any money which can cause you to buy lots of drinks and snacks from the pool bar because you dont have to pay there and then. You are not allowed to bring food from outside the hotel but no body checks your bags like what some of the other reviews say, there is no one there to tell you not to so we still brung food in from outside like crisps and drink. The hotel isnt very child friendly as there are alot of stairs, i would say it isnt recommended to bring children under the age of 7. I was lucky because my daughter is 13. Overall it is a lovely hotel the entertainment is fantastic the city is amazing and the staff are lovely. Dont listen to the other reviews just go for it andyou will see what a lovely hotel it is.

We stayed at the Asena in August this year and we could not fault it.
Every where was cleaned everyday and the staff went out of their way to help you and to make sure you had a fabulous holiday. The food and drink was fab as was the entertainment. Lovely reception area with helpful staff. Spa was very relaxing, hairdressers great, and a wonderful photographer. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk to Hisaronu centre for a good night out.
We would like to give special thanks to Gokhan for all his help, kindness, and wonderful sense of humour, it was very much appreciated and helped to make our stay special. He also speaks very good English and is a very hard worker, as are all of the staff.
We look forward to seeing you in August 2012 for another fun filled holiday.
