Have just come back from another holiday to Hisaronu and I cannot fault the place as I love it so much, would go back all the time if I could afford it, now onto hotel, the room that we had i.e my husband and son was very clean and tidy and I could not fault the maid service as the room was cleaned daily. We went on a b&b basis and you could not fault the food either which was more than enough to fill you up before another day of sun bathing, it consisted of cereal, scrambled egg, sausages (if you could call them sausages) omelettes, fruit and toast, really nice.
A couple of nights we had the meals in the main restaurant which were really good value and alot cheaper than in town. Really good entertainment aswell.
The only thing I have to complain about was the amount of staff at the hotel, although they could not do enough for you, I did tire of they're antics whenever I was around, it seems that they are quite happy to be like Butlins and this did not go down very well with my family hence we spent most of time in the day away from the hotel and at the beach.
All in all this is a nice hotel if you like Butlins holidays and as I said food really good, but I won't be returning to this hotel again, you learn I guess.

Myself and my friend have just come back from a weeks break and wish we where still there. We have stayed at the Asena for the past four years and we have to say that the staff there make you feel like you have know them for years.Rooms are always clean and the cleaner always leaves us flowers on the bed, food is a one and the reception staff are very helpfull also the man that takes our suitcases he remembers us every year and is great. The bar staff at the pool and terance give us the best time their shows get better every year and can't wait till next year we miss them already. So if you want somewhere thats sunny clean great entertainment, food and a laugh go to Asena Village we are for as long as we can. Nikki and Sheila

hotel location, food and cleanliness of hotel and asena boys are great (especially bayram he is sooo funny!!! and cute!!!) altho 2 weeks half board was a bit samey so went out a few times for meals theres lots of lovely restaurants in the village nearby. pool activities and entertainment is aimed mainly for adults which was a bit disappointing as have 2 boys aged 5 and 12 who love pool games but were not allowed to take part! main pool is very deep and not much of a shallow end so young children can not touch floor in shallow end but there is a tiny kids pool! luckily enough my boys can swim! entertainment is the same every week so if u stay for 2 weeks u will c same shows and it starts at 11 or later and no kids disco. thomson kids reps did nothing to encourage kids to join club activities and were not lively or entertaining so very disappointed with them. asena boys work very hard and were good fun but probably would stay at a different hotel aimed more for children with kids activities. turkey is lovely and the beaches are great lovely and warm sugar beach is really good for young children as u can walk right out in shallow water and its like a bath and lovely sand really peacefull and relaxing.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Asena Village, this was our second visit to Hisaronu but our first to the Asena and we wouldn't go back to this hotel.
When we arrived they put us in a very small room with 3beds - not the family room that we had requested and paid extra for and we had to wait 3 days for them to move us.
The hotel itself is ok the pool area is adequate but there are not enough sunbeds - we had to set our alarm for 6.30-7.00 to get up and put towels on sunbeds which is not great. The breakfast was ok but we never ate anything else at the hotel as it was too expensive. Alot of people were complaining about being ripped off by the hotel, drinks and extras added to peoples bills - you need to keep track of what you spend as they use a card system not cash. A large bottle of water at the hotel is 3 lira (1.30 ish) 5 times more than in the shops up the road, our friend ordered a peach snapps and lemonade 11 lira (over £5 !!) so Beware
We have been to Turkey 9 times so we do know what to expect in this country - the resort itself is great - plenty of bars and restaurants without being like Blackpool abroad, the resort is busy but not full of idiots. Oludeniz is a short bus journey away about 2.75lira (£1.20 ish) and the beach is great with more bars etc.
Check out is 12.00 and it costs £12 to keep your room till 5 - we asked to keep our room till 6 as we did not leave till 12.30am, they wouldn't let us and then promised us a turkish bath for free but when it came to it it turned out that it was just to use the shower in the Turkish Bath - on another note would not use the Turkish Bath in hotel as is of poor quality to others we have used over the years - use the one in the centre of Hisaronu.
Last year we stayed at Pine Valley across the road we went to the Asena for a change but wish we had not bothered - Pine Valley is more modern, bigger pool area, more sunbeds, they are investing year on year last year added brand new Turkish Bath and new rooms etc.
I have read the other reviews and from my experience the people who love it are the ones who live in the hotel all holiday and want to be the best of friends with the staff etc - thats not for us and that would not compensate for the shortcomings of the hotel.

Just got back having spent 2 weeks of sheer bliss at the the Asena Village Hotel. Hotel is brill food is brill and the staff are exceptional very friendly carnt do enough for you from the cleaners to the managers it is one big famiy run hotel. We had kids from 19yrs to 10yrs and they all had a ball. Alfie, Dave, Cad, Siyeed and Simon are the bar staff and the entertainmnt staff from getting up to going to bed they are all fantastic we miss them already. We all would definately go back next year. Hissarano is only a 5 minute walk from Asena Village and full of life which suits all ages. Pop is a bit dear for the children alcohol not bad depends where you drink around £1.80 for a large beer. Clothes are good value really good copies. So if you are thinking of trying this hotel please do you will not be dissapointed. Abuu (please send are love to the Asena Boys if you go from the Donny Crew).

What a fantastic place, travelled with my 2 children 1 and 4 and they loved it. The hotel and staff are great, always happy to help. Didnt use the childrens club so cant comment on that. Only thing that could have been a bit better are the sizes of the room. Not that it mattered that much as we werent in there very long. If your kiddies like a certain cereal for breakfast you may be better taking them with you, they only had chocolate balls and cornflakes which both tasted stale

This hotel is absolutely amazing!! I went there for two weeks with my family and we had the best time!!
The staff there are so good and always keep the guests entertained. Some comments are saying the staff are all over the young girls, this is not true they are friendly to anyone and everyone, they made us feel very welcome. The staff genuinly care about the guests and they did all they could to ensure we had a fantastic time.
The rooms are fairly basic but very clean quite spacious. Just what you need when your on holiday and easy to live in for two weeks.
I would recommend this hotel as it is only a five minute walk from Hisaronu and only 10 minutes on the bus to the beach.
It is the perfect hotel for young children and teenagers. It has kids club for the young ones and their are pool games everyday for children and adults.
It is truely amazing...you should definately go!!!

Just got back from Asena Village Hotel (7th July), and had a really fabulous time. We were there May 2007 and the hotel is still as upbeat as ever. All the staff are very friendly and energetic!!! How they work and dance in the evenings is beyond me, but they do it with laughter and good fun. The food was excellent as usual, and evening entertainment at dinner was great- comedy sketch was hilarious! Special thanks to Bayram and Chef for the Birthday cake.
This is a good family hotel in a lovely spot in the mountains so a nice breeze can be felt- you need it as the temperatures got up to 45 degrees! Down in Olu Deniz - the Lagoon was far too hot, couldn't walk on the pebbles without burning your feet! Hisaronu is busy at night but not roudy.
We had a slight problem with the room which was leaking from above, but within half an hour reception had organised the handyman. Impressive.
Pool was lovely, no problem getting a sunbed although not quite high season and people still get up at 7 am to reserve one, sometimes not using them till 4pm! Ridiculous, no need.
Would not travel with First Choice again, Reps not much good, but my son (19) and his girlfriend will be going again next year as they loved it.
Do not hesitate to book this, but maybe not in August!

we travelled as 3 adults 44 43 and 18 . hotel was well laid out and being able to eat outside was a great bonus . food was over all very good though we did think charging extra 4ytl for ice cream at dinner was a bit excesive this is normally included in any half board . hotel very much geared for families with younger children . daytime adult entertainment could have been better only daily table tennis and sometimes waterpolo. there was a volley ball court and a football pitch which were never used , bit of a waste . maid was brilliant and even washed my cup which i 'borrowed'from the bar to make a cup of coffee in the room . do take your own travel kettle a £10 per week for kettle hire is a bit much too. also take a hair dryer as one in room only lasts about 2 mins at a time before cutting out and then cant be used for further 5 mins . All in all a good hotel ,we had been told by those who were there last year that the manager had changed and that entertainment was not of the standard of last year therefore hotel empty by 11 as most people went out . maybe entertainment will improve as season goes on i hope so as it could be a waste of what could be a great hotel

Hello,
just returned from a fantastic 14 nights half board holiday at Asena Village. There were 5 in our party including my 4 1/2 year old grandson (his ist time abroad).
I agree with most of the comments made. the staff made our holiday special by being so attentive and friendly. Cad in particular was the favourite for my grandson but ALL the waiters made us feel special.
Whilst there, Turkey winning the football (twice) was exciting - we all got involved in the celebrations and also it was the hotels birthday. The celebrations went on from and during dinnertime including rock band, staff celebrations, turkish themes, and to finish-a foam party! the atmosphere was brilliant.
I agree, the kids room was very basic, but the kids were all playing in there.
I will definately book again. A big thank you to all at Asena Village.

The weather was beautiful and hot, staff were friendly and pleasant apart from a small handful who were ignorant if you didn't let them get their own way. It was like one big 18 to 30's with them preying on young women like vultures. Did not appreciate the live sex show going on in the foam party whilst children were still around. My son who is 14 was completeley ignored by these staff and they were at times rude towards him. Seems there is a policy of only being nice to very small children.
Did definately have a Blackpool/Butlins feel which let it down as it is situated in such a lovely place.
Would love to return to that part of Turkey but would NOT go back to Asena. Shame really as it was my first visit and not the best first impression
