Just got back from Asena Village Hotel (7th July), and had a really fabulous time. We were there May 2007 and the hotel is still as upbeat as ever. All the staff are very friendly and energetic!!! How they work and dance in the evenings is beyond me, but they do it with laughter and good fun. The food was excellent as usual, and evening entertainment at dinner was great- comedy sketch was hilarious! Special thanks to Bayram and Chef for the Birthday cake.
This is a good family hotel in a lovely spot in the mountains so a nice breeze can be felt- you need it as the temperatures got up to 45 degrees! Down in Olu Deniz - the Lagoon was far too hot, couldn't walk on the pebbles without burning your feet! Hisaronu is busy at night but not roudy.
We had a slight problem with the room which was leaking from above, but within half an hour reception had organised the handyman. Impressive.
Pool was lovely, no problem getting a sunbed although not quite high season and people still get up at 7 am to reserve one, sometimes not using them till 4pm! Ridiculous, no need.
Would not travel with First Choice again, Reps not much good, but my son (19) and his girlfriend will be going again next year as they loved it.
Do not hesitate to book this, but maybe not in August!

we travelled as 3 adults 44 43 and 18 . hotel was well laid out and being able to eat outside was a great bonus . food was over all very good though we did think charging extra 4ytl for ice cream at dinner was a bit excesive this is normally included in any half board . hotel very much geared for families with younger children . daytime adult entertainment could have been better only daily table tennis and sometimes waterpolo. there was a volley ball court and a football pitch which were never used , bit of a waste . maid was brilliant and even washed my cup which i 'borrowed'from the bar to make a cup of coffee in the room . do take your own travel kettle a £10 per week for kettle hire is a bit much too. also take a hair dryer as one in room only lasts about 2 mins at a time before cutting out and then cant be used for further 5 mins . All in all a good hotel ,we had been told by those who were there last year that the manager had changed and that entertainment was not of the standard of last year therefore hotel empty by 11 as most people went out . maybe entertainment will improve as season goes on i hope so as it could be a waste of what could be a great hotel

Hello,
just returned from a fantastic 14 nights half board holiday at Asena Village. There were 5 in our party including my 4 1/2 year old grandson (his ist time abroad).
I agree with most of the comments made. the staff made our holiday special by being so attentive and friendly. Cad in particular was the favourite for my grandson but ALL the waiters made us feel special.
Whilst there, Turkey winning the football (twice) was exciting - we all got involved in the celebrations and also it was the hotels birthday. The celebrations went on from and during dinnertime including rock band, staff celebrations, turkish themes, and to finish-a foam party! the atmosphere was brilliant.
I agree, the kids room was very basic, but the kids were all playing in there.
I will definately book again. A big thank you to all at Asena Village.

The weather was beautiful and hot, staff were friendly and pleasant apart from a small handful who were ignorant if you didn't let them get their own way. It was like one big 18 to 30's with them preying on young women like vultures. Did not appreciate the live sex show going on in the foam party whilst children were still around. My son who is 14 was completeley ignored by these staff and they were at times rude towards him. Seems there is a policy of only being nice to very small children. Did definately have a Blackpool/Butlins feel which let it down as it is situated in such a lovely place. Would love to return to that part of Turkey but would NOT go back to Asena. Shame really as it was my first visit and not the best first impression

Just returned from a 2 week holiday at Asena Village. Fantastic. Went to Asena with my husband and 2 children. The Thomson flight was the only downfall with no film on the the flight.
Asena village-room basic but very clean. Staff at Asena absolutley great-very entertaining from the chefs, the restaraunt manager and who can forgot ice-cream, sugar, cad and David, all the staff were very friendly, great food and entertainment-special mention about elvis, breakdancers and the turkish evening including the full-monty to which my boys took part in and thoroughly enjoyed.
The trips around the local area are fantastic and very good value for money we went on 3 boat trips including the 12 island tour a jeep safari-never laughed so much in my life-visited the blue lagoon and the ghost village at Kaya koy and went to the aqua park at challis. Fethiye market is a much and some very good deals if you bartar.
Would love to go back next year will have to see how the saving the pennies goes. I would definatley recommend Asena Village to anyone especially those with families.

my family (me,my partner and two children)have just come back from the asena, what an amazing time we had. the resort was great, the people where great the whole holiday was great. we read some of the reviews before we went and read some good and some bad but we didnt let that affect our choice and what a good choice it was. we went for 11 days and booked bed and breakfast but upgraded to half board on our first day, the food was lovely different food every night, all the workers are so nice, loved the kids and us, and we loved them, miss them already. our room was basic but nothing to moan about, who goes on holiday to admire the room decor etc, you only sleep and get changed in it. childrens games room was a bit basic and we told them they do need to upgrade it more but our kids didnt moan about it. we did a boat trip, jeep safari, and diving, all the trips out were brilliant, and so cheap, take some money with you on the trips though as they have photographers who take amazing pictures of you and your family we brought all pictures from all trips on cd and it worked out about £22 for each cd but it was well worth it for nearly 60 pics on each cd. we booked our trips outside of the complex, about 4 shops down from azda with a man called typhoon teabag he was such a nice person and remembered us every time we walked past. but every where you go your remembered. the atmosphere was amazing when turkey was winning the football better then being at a football match, cad, simon, david, where so nice and looked after us all the time, we are all gona miss you so much. no getting up and getting your drinks from the bar they wait on you all the time it was great, entertainment in the evening started when you were having your dinner all outside round the pool, which was nice and then extra entertainment started bout 11 in the evening but it was all good and so funny, laughed so much.
we would definatly go back, there was only one problem and that was with some of the english that were on holiday some of them were so rude was surprised by that, but the turkish were the best we had no problems with them at all they are so polite. so give it a try, you can read the reviews but everyone has different opinions and you dont know yourself if you dont go.

What a mint hotel, Have been 6 times and going for our 7th time in July (08).
Staff are really friendly and joke around with you but do know how far to go which is a good thing. Even made friends with the old Restaurant manager, Arrived in July 06 and he wasnt there! So we found out where he was and went and saw him at his new Job, (Asena hotel in Oludeniz).
The pool games were very entertaining as was the Evening entertainment although it did sometimes start very late (11pm) By which time you want to think about going to bed.
The nightlife is very good in the Town, And day trips we went on such as ; Quadbike safari, Jeep safari, Truck safari, 12 Island boat tour, Horse riding and a few more were amazing, To see the Turkish countryside.
We miss the hotel so much when were not there and would live there if we could afford it, Reccomend so much, Ignore the bad comments what do you expect for a semi 3rd world country ? Thank the Turkish for accepting you into their enviroment!

we have just arrived home from asena village, a familly of 4 with 2 children aged 10 & 8.
and we had an excellent time.
the rooms are basic, but we only slept, showered and changed in them. they were cleaned daily with towels and linen changed every other day.
as you arrive you get a card to pay for everything on site, best to pay this every couple of days.
the shop and bar snacks were expensive, best to get a sandwich from the town centre. and get your water and drinks from morisons or azda (5 mins away) but hide them in a bag.
the pool was very good, but the towel brigade were bagging the best seats at 7 in the morning
the restaurant food was fantastic, a large choice of starters, main courses and desserts, and a childrens section. it was buffet style but the waiters clear all plates from your table and serve you drinks.
the bar had different entertainment every night of the week.
the staff were amongst the friendliest and funniest people i have ever met.
overall, a brilliant holiday.

I arrived at the hotel on 30th May and could not wait to leave.
The rooms was dirty and falling to bits and we could not use the bathroom at all because we got ants and spiders everywhere crawling all over the toliet seat and sink and the floor and the walls.
I had a 9 yr old with me so not having a bathroom was very hard on us and my son screamed evrytime he woke up to find ants crawling all in his bed.
The staff was friendly and did there bit to entertain the guests but i was there for a family holiday and as much as the crazy frog dance at 8am in the morning is funny the first day but not every morning after that.
The pool area and eating areas was clean and tidy and as i said the staff was very helpful till you complain.
I have stayed in the hotel 5 times and even had my wedding there which is why i decided on this hotel but i have not stayed there since Sept 2006 and got has it gone down hill.
There was holes in the wall and behind the sink which was where all the insects was coming from and they might have just gave me a tent and said good luck.
I will never use this hotel again and i surgest if your booking do not use sunshine holidays as you get the worse rooms and when you complain you get no where even with video on photo proof of how bad it is.

Hi having just returned 30 May 2008 from an absolutely amazing holiday at the Asena Village Hotel I felt compelled to write this review. The hotel is fantastic and the staff could not be more obliging always friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily and also fresh towels/linen. It was my first time and I have come back to England and rebooked another visit for 16 June 2008. Hisaronu offers something for every one and the far trips to Ephesus and Pammakale will definetley be repeated. Also like to express my thanks to our holiday rep 'Sarah' she made me feel welcome and as it was her first season she was very open honest and reliable many thanks.

This hotel is absolutely amazing!! I went there for two weeks with my family and we had the best time!!
The staff there are so good and always keep the guests entertained. Some comments are saying the staff are all over the young girls, this is not true they are friendly to anyone and everyone, they made us feel very welcome. The staff genuinly care about the guests and they did all they could to ensure we had a fantastic time.
The rooms are fairly basic but very clean quite spacious. Just what you need when your on holiday and easy to live in for two weeks.
I would recommend this hotel as it is only a five minute walk from Hisaronu and only 10 minutes on the bus to the beach.
It is the perfect hotel for young children and teenagers. It has kids club for the young ones and their are pool games everyday for children and adults.
It is truely amazing...you should definately go!!!
