Submitted By: Kevin ElsmoreThe only down side is the beach is rocky and unable to swim, pool a little too small for the size of the hotel.
Overhaul we were very very pleased - a very comfortable stay.
Advice: Typical English Spain, Cheap tacky bars and restaurants.

Submitted By: micannthe hotel was clean & the food was good but dont really think its a 4 star just certain touches missing & the outside of the hotel is in need of some updating.
the staff on the whole were very good but the biggest downside was it was mainly geared up to accomadate spanish & all the entertainment was in spanish, if we had been informed of this when booking we wouldnt have gone.
Advice: nice & flat lots of places of intreset rhonda & mijhas well worth a visit as is the old town.
Activities: Loads of nice places to eat on the marina

Submitted By: Mr T MarshallThe only downside was the entertainment as it was all in Spanish.
It seems they cater for the Spanish Pensioners, who go up to the end of May, FREE.
Maybe our Government will do the same, (don’t hold your breath).
But I would go again to this Hotel.

Submitted By: Ms M A MorganEntertainment great, wide variety. Drinks of all descriptions included. Only one bad comment put about half a stone on!! Highly recommended! One tip don’t get drawn in by the people on the street selling time shares, we lost one day because of them.

Submitted By: Ms F JenningsThe hotel is very clean. Food is what you would expect from a buffet dinner. Waiters and waitresses can be a little rude. Reception staff and room service were very helpful. On arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful suite with a huge balcony and stunning sea views, it suited our requirements perfectly on this occasion.
Looking at other hotels in the area I believe we made the right decision, thanks to the helpful reviews on the internet.

Submitted By: Mr P Lowrythe hotel was located at the top end of the town and on a slight incline on a busy road but was not a problem either from noise or getting across the road as there were pelican crossings and the traffic did stop. the hotel was really good and deserved the name "best" along with the 4* rating.
The reception check in was pleasant and quick with precise directions to our room on the fourth floor, sea facing, the room has an inner door probably for sound proofing, the rooms have complete carpeting which means no noise from dragging furniture above, two queen size beds, great air conditioning, the bathroom was excellent with bath and shower, toothbrushes, men’s shavers, soaps, shampoos, ect were all provided, the only thing the room lacked was hospitality tray, oh and there was a mini fridge, good for keeping drinks cool, also a very pleasant balcony with beautiful sea views..
The restaurant; a fantastic selection for breakfast, with a grill area where a chef made specialities, although it could mean a wait in the peak season, the evening meals were well varied and plentiful, the staff were always cheerful and helpful, and the general manager went out of his way to greet you , and ask if everything was to your satisfaction..
The facilities offered by the hotel; two Jacuzzis which we found to be very hot and could not stay in them, a fully equipped fitness suite, a massage parlour, a hairdressers,
the pool area has a large Jacuzzi and two swimming pools which were quite small, and could be crowded in peak season, there were soft loungers and parasols, but I don’t think there would be enough when the hotel is at full capacity, there is a beach below the hotel pool area which was getting refurbished by diggers and dumper trucks, the noise was not a problem as they were nearly finished the work..
The entertainment at the hotel needs to be seriously addressed as some nights it can be quite boring, but you can go to other hotels in the area or into town for a night out for a change..
The resort; We found the resort to be a bit quiet but after all it was April, there is a place called "Bonazna Square" although we never went there we heard that is were you can have a good night out, also a place called the "Tivoli" is mentioned it is a fun park and entertainment centre were they put on shows for the kids and shows for the adults. Also the Marina in the town is something else..
Things to see; Benalmadena is between Torremilnos and Fungerola, both a short bus ride away costing 1.50euros and well worth the day out, also a trip to Malaga City and a ride on the open top bus 13euro is worth every cent. Breathtaking views when you get to an old area at the top of the mountain.
Overall comment; We had a good time there, a good relaxing holiday with great weather only one dull day that was the last day when we were going home. We are going back in September 05 with our friends and will see all the things that we missed the last time we were there. we have been to many places around the world and found that for the money that we spent Benalmadena give the best value...
Well recommended, but the bargains are to be had in April or October, as this week away is costing £900 for the both of us..
Good luck...
