A lovely hotel on the Lake Garda in Italy. The rooms are large and airy, and many have beautiful views and balconies looking out over the lake. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, particularly the maids!
The hotel is very quiet despite being rather close to the road. The outdoor pool is lovely although rather small - however, it is barely used (or at least it wasn't when I was there!). The snack bar is great if you don't want to leave the hotel - however there are some very convenient restaurants situated about 200m away!
The food is great, and all the waiters and waitresses are very helpful. A weekly gala dinner provides six courses, and the buffet breakfast provides a huge choice and variety.
The hotel is on the lakeside, and a ten minute walk away from the centre of town. From here you can catch a ferry to various other parts of the lake - the hotel can provide you with a discount card which will be useful if you plan to take lots of journeys.
All in all the hotel is very good; pleasant rooms, very strong air conditioning, a nice pool, beautiful views and excellent food. The only downside is its proximity to the road; however the rooms are nigh on silent, so don't let this put you off - just be prepared.

Nice size swimming pool with free towels. Very close to town centre and shops. Very near boats.
Excellent market on Mondays selling Italian goods and food. Restaurant in hotel good.
Many good restaurants a stone’s throw away. Also plenty of bars.
