Having returned from the complex on Saturday 25th 2008 with my wife, son 12, Daughter 14 can thoroughly recommend it . We were in the older part of the complex which is being upgraded this October, but even so was clean comfortable and very friendly.



Efficient staff, who moved us on the first day as we were in room next to Stage and entertainment, would avoid this as it is quite noisy up to about 11.00pm +



Pools accessible with Multi nationality staying including spanish, which is a good point , if you want all British go to BENIDORM.



RESORT AND COMPLEX NICE AND FRIENDLY, NO DRUNKEN BRITISH YOBS , LOTS TO DO FOR CHILDREN.





Noticed that the All inclusive boarders had to trapse down to the Newer part of the complex to get drinks, food etc. difficult carrying drinks etc from newer complex to old.

As bar near to stage does not open until 6.00pm



Three pools to get beds around , no fighting every morning.



Entertainment crew EXCELLENT with activities for young and old arranged if wanted.



Entertainment at night was excellent. mixture of in house and other imported acts.



Would go again tomorrow.

Have just returned from a superb holiday at Ferrera Blanca and already wishing and hoping for a return visit!



I went with my two teenagers and my son's girlfriend, staying in a one bedroomed apartment but on an all inclusive basis. The staff on reception were very helpful and our room was ready on arrival. We stayed in block 14 which was very close to the entertainment area but this did not spoil our stay as everything quietens down around 11.30 pm or so.



The apartment was a little dated, but very clean and had everything we needed. Towels and bedding were changed regularly and overall the complex was spotless. The air conditioning was much needed; temperatures got into the mid 30s whilst we were there - we had a perfect week weather wise.



Loved the pools - our favourite being the one overlooking the beach - it's not far to get a drink from the bar and the view over the cove is fantastic. The beach was lovely, a little crowded but the sea is the warmest I have ever been in and very clear.



The catering is excellent - a good range of food and presented superbly. The restaurant is bright and modern and a real pleasure to eat in. The entertainments team are enthusiastic and on the go constantly - I take my hat off to them - we joined in the water polo, archery and volleyball and it was all done in great spirit.



We didn't eat out anywhere else but enjoyed walking into Cala D'Or (about a 15 min walk) and the kids loved the shops there - there are stacks of places to eat and drink and the atmosphere was very lively. We had lovely cocktails at Cheeky Tiki on our last night which were a bit pricey but very good. Other than that I can recommend the boat trip up the east coast of the island - Starfish Boats - excellent value at 19 euros each, stunning scenery and a chance to jump off the boat and swim in the sea if it takes your fancy. We also went to Aqualand which was 40 euros each (coach and entrance included) which was a good day out, although again was very busy and you had to queue for some time to get on the better slides - only to be expected in peak season.



Overall a superb holiday - probably one of the best I have had - and wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone. I shall certainly be returning here if I get the chance.

Me, my wife and our 2- 1/2 years old son are so happy and satisfied with everything involved on this small holidays we've had in ferrera blanca apartments.



The rooms and swimming pools [3] were very clean, the beaches around are the most beautifull we have seen,the sea water is so clean that you can see the sea bottom even in the deepest places, it is amazing cristal clear.



The animation in the hotel were outstanding I never saw my son laughing like that before, he enjoys every minute, staff was lovely and helpful there. And the restaurants in that are good and not so expensive. Good choice for family holiday.

INSECTS, THEFT and unfriendly staff.

Arrived about 5 in the morning and were directed to our room on a piece of paper. room was completly filled with ants. with ten minutes i killed 20.

our sea view was also laughable. more like see tree.

we complained to the reception staff and they wouldnt do anything. we then approached our reps when they arrived who were very helpful.

they got us a new room which was very nice. we thought the holiday was on the up when we arrived back from the beach to find both our mobile phones and some clothes gone.

we contacted our reps who said theyd ring the police but the hotel management would not let them because it was not their problem, some how?



resort is nice and travel reps are very good. not the complex though.

These appartments were amazing, if your worrying about the standard of everything before you go, don't waste your time doing so, It's amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed myself when i stayed at these appartments last year. I came with all my family (Mum, Dad, Brother, Granparents, Cousins, Auntie & Uncle). I was 17 when i stayed here and i loved it! The pools were great, the weather was lovely! No rain during the days, once during the night! The storms are all part of the holiday though!! Love it x We stayed on the other side of the road, not in the main complex which was good because we could go away from the noise! I loved my holiday! I would go deffinatley go there again!!

had a great family holiday. on arrival we were dealt with quickly after a trnasfer of about an hour from the airport. our apartment was not sparklingly clean but adequate. the location of our apartment was ideal for the children beside one of the smaller pools. although dated inside the apartment i was aware that the apartments were being renovated, bit by bit.

it was not a long walk to the beach but a steep one. the main area of town was accessed by the tour train that goes round the resort from a short walk from the apartments. it was a pleasant if quite long walk if not catching the train.

staff at the ferrera blanca were fantastic, especially the kids entertainers. our daughter has special needs and they were wonderful with her and made our holiday.

I went to Ferrera Blanca apartments with my boyfriend last July. It was our first holiday abroad together and I can honestly say it was my best holiday ever !!



The apartments were so chilled out and relaxed , only bad thing was the rooster which woke us up every morning at 6am!!



The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, no complaints at all



The staff were all really freindly, had a great laugh getting involved with all the poolside games which Chico, Maurie and Paoula



lots of really nice places to eat and drink, really nice beaches and boat trips

It was my first holiday with my boyfriend and we had a fantastic time.



The apartments were fantastic and the facilities were good. The area is fantastic and perfect for anyone seeking a holiday in a quiet and pretty undisturbed resort.



The coves and beaches are beautiful and the marina is a good destination to go out for a meal.

Where do I start? It was the best 8 days of my life!



When we arrived, the reps were at the airport waiting for us and we were shown to our bus and taken to our apartments. When we arrived at Ferrera Blanca, we were shown straight to our apartment which was spacious, clean and had a view looking over the main pool.



These apartments are very central with the beach, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and shops all within a 5 minute walk. I would recommend the restaurant on the corner immediately before the main reception - very good food and the staff are very good looking!



The highlight of our holiday was the Carabel Bar/Restaurant. Every evening they had karaoke and entertainment going on until the small hours. The staff are very friendly and with happy hour every night between 8 and 10, you saved a lot of money on drink! The fact that it's just round the corner from Ferrera Blanca, meant you just had a short distance to stagger home!



There was lots of excursions and nights out organised by the reps to suit all ages. I would definitely recommend this holiday and we may well return soon!

We stayed here for a week and found the apartments to be fine. We were in a downstairs one bed roomed apartment across the road. It was close to the pool which we found to be very clean.



The apartment was clean and reasonably equipped. We had no faults with it, anyway. We had a buffet breakfast in the restaurant one morning which we found to be too 'Spanish'!



We'd recommend the Arches for breakfast which is a few minutes’ walk away. We had a lunch their most days and found the quality & prices to be excellent. Friendly staff too. We used the pizza restaurant with the Hollywood pictures on the walls (can't recall the name) which was very nice. Superb bruschetta - free with a voucher from the touts in the street. The Tex-Mex one up the stairs was nice too, but quite expensive.



Didn't do much drinking at night, but beer prices were not that cheap. The Hawaiian cocktail bar under the apartments was really nice, but was quite expensive. Free lei's every night though!!



All in all, the holiday was great and was excellent value.



We'd use both the apartments and the resort again.

Wow that was the best holiday ever! Everything about it was so brilliant, I almost cried when I had to leave!



All the staff were amazing. Chicco was brilliant, made me laugh countless amount of times! Maurie was a brilliant head entertainer! Paola was fantastic and some how done worse than me on the pistol shooting, to Chicco's surprise! Miguel amazed us all with his brilliant dancing! The bar staff were really friendly too, Federico was like a friend and talked to us even when he saw us down the beach!



The activities were so good and made entertaining by the entertainers. Chicco made shooting enjoyable even when you went wrong! There was such a range of them, you could of just stayed at the apartments all day and not get bored!



The area in which the apartments were situated was ideal for anyone really. The beach was 100m away, a quick 2 minute walk, or you could go to the next cove, Cala Esmerelda, which was about 10 minute walk away. The beaches were clean and had lifeguards there in case of any problems. You could take a pedal boat out and explore the waters, or you could go scuba diving or snorkeling, because the waters were crystal clear!



There was a shop on site, that wasn't much difference in price to any other shop or there is a shop just outside the main entrance. If you wanted more range of shops, the main stretch of bars, restaurants and shops was a short walk away.



The people in Mallorca are very friendly and spoke good english! (which is helpful if you don't speak Spanish).



I would say this holiday was the best ever and I can't wait till I return next year! Anyone thinking about going to Ferrera Blanca would be mad not too!

We had a great holiday at the Ferrera Blanca. On arrival we had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready as we arrived on a Saturday and it was very busy. We saw block 14 and thought "we hope we're not in one of those, they look really noisy". Well we had an apartment in block 14 and it was not to bad at all. Wouldn't have wanted block 14 in July or August though. I would imagine the "evening entertainment" would take place outdoors right outside our apartment. Thankfully it was in the lounge as it was not to our taste - Elvis Tribute nights, etc. Yuck! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there otherwise. The apartment was cleaned regularly and there was everything you needed. Would have preferred a private balcony but the one we had was fine.



Great places to eat and drink. We went to the Duke of Devonshire and Cheers, in Cala D'Or centre, which were very good. Was disappointed with Three Dolphins. Great restaurants down at the marina, but they are a bit more expensive. The breakfast at the Ferrera Blanca was good. All you can eat for 6euros.



Weather not too good, had a lot of cloud and thunder at night.



Would definitely go back again, maybe in May or June and would request an apartment in block 8, 9 or 10, where it is quieter and overlooking the beach and sea.

I have just come back from my holiday tonight, and it was amazing! We didn't stay at Ferrerra Blanca, but were there every night for bingo, mini disco and entertainment. Everything about it is amazing. The reps were the best possible- Mauri, Chico and Miguel!- they even came along to Carabels with us! I really do recommend it here, its the best place possible.

I thought this was one of the best holidays I have ever been on! I’ve been all over the world and it was amazing. There are loads of people to meet and have a good time with and the location itself is pretty good!



We had no problems apart from one bad day of weather but you’re not promised perfect weather. Everyone who I travelled with agrees we shall go back next year as we had so much fun!



There’s a bar just round the corner called Papaya which is open 24/7 and they serve delightful cocktails. Our room was brilliant apart from our balcony, we were on ground floor so we didn’t have much of a good view. We got a safety box key and I don’t see any problems in anybody breaking in if you hide it and the staff there was brilliant. Room cleaned everyday, waiters are very helpful and the security guard has a sense of humour.



The entertainment was great putting on a different show every night for the two weeks I was there and there’s a variety of daytime activities to get stuck into as well. If I was recommending a holiday I would definitely pick this one as you’ll never be bored and if you’re looking for a good laugh then this is the one.

Just arrived home from Cala D'or today with my partner and our daughter. We stayed in the Ferrera Blanca apartments.



We arrived quite late at night so we were all very tired, we booked into the reception and was given a little piece of photocopied paper which was supposedly a map of the place which the receptionist scrawled over with a green highlighter to show us to our apartment.



We didn't find it very helpful as we was told we'd be staying in room 13, but after half a hour circling the building with 3 suitcases it turned out to be room 33. There are no lifts at all, and a hell of a lot of stairs, so walking up and down those for a week solid has done wonders for my backside, but abit of a nuisance with suitcases.



Told we'd be given a sea view, but the only view we had was a football court! The bedding smelt really fusty, wasn't pleasant whatsoever. The water out the taps is not drinkable at all. Only managed to get 1 hot bath at a time, after that the hot water was gone for about 3 hours which resulted in my fella trembling under the fusty blankets!



The worst thing about it was ants! Absolutely everywhere in our apartment, thousands of them on the dressing table, dining table, bedroom floor, living room floor, balcony, we even knocked a few off the bed!



When we informed the reception and asked for some ant killer of some kind we just got laughed at! Me and my partner had a slipper each banging away at them for hours, our daughter did not dare move off the sofa which resorted in us spending most of the time away from our room to the hotel pool, which brings me on to the rock hard sun loungers, absolute agony.



The swimming pool water was like ice, after 20 lengths it still was not bearable. The sea was a lot warmer! You have never seen as much seaweed in your life as you have in that sea, after a quick paddle you'd come out looking like you are wearing a pair of trousers! We booked a boat trip thinking it'd be a nice day out from the ants, but it thundered and lightened so it got cancelled but luckily we got a refund.



My partner got terribly scanked one night at a close by pub, and his pint somehow ended up costing him 7 Euros! When comforted the bar man he obviously denied all knowledge.



I bet you think I'm a moaning beggar but I'm just telling my experience, and that’s what it really was! The beach even though over crowded really is a sight to be seen.



Despite everything, it was a good week. Don't think I'll be returning anytime soon, but I'm glad we went.
