Great pool, great location just on the main Olu-deniz to Fethiye road. People so so friendly and food and drink great value for money.
Easy to get to from the airport (40mins) beaches in fantastic surroundings with calm waters.
Food was the best we have ever had and this was at any restaurant we ate at. The service was second to none and talk about value for money!
We will never visit anywhere else now; we have been to most places in the world but nothing like Turkey.
All those that make the journey to Spain every year, my advice is to spend another 2 hours on the plane and visit the only place you will ever go again!

Two bed apartment basic but cleaned everyday, fine! Staff all lovely. So friendly, kind and helpful. Side is a lovely resort
The Umut restaurant nearby was fab, food excellent, staff lovely, especially Denniz (says his family call him "Dennis the Menace", see his lovely canine friend Gnasher too). Denniz is such a lovely lad. Ask him if he still remembers Marrianne & Kim. Kim was the young English lady, who entered the restaurant brandishing "weapons of mass destruction" ....a plate and a ladle actually.
The weather was brill for October, though there had been lots of rain storms before we arrived. The lovely pony tailed man on the local beach who seemed to work for Linda's beach bar was fantastically kind and helpful to us; I'd recommend you buy your boat trip etc off him. "Nothing was too much trouble" to him, he went out of his way to help us, even got us a lift up from the beach by a lovely local taxi man, who wouldn't take any money, as my walking isn't so great. How kind is that.
All the staff in Lindas beach bar were actually very kind and lovely.
Place, People, Food, whole holiday "Well exceeded my expectations".

We recently went to Green Aparthotel but, we went last year and none of the previous staff were here this year! Last year, we went and Alfie, Mustafa and "that lot" were all there. We found out that they had gone to Sun City which we visited lots.
We didn't have a meal there too many times though. A restaurant called "Umut", just up the road from Green Apart was much much cheaper and we had been there last year also. All of the staff were still there and there were all very nice to us. On our last night (we went for 1 week), They set out flowers and petals on the table and it was lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant as my sister had a spag bol, me, my mum and my other sister had a chicken fillet and my dad had a steak. It all come to about £25 (it was in Lira then though, we worked it out) and we all had drinks. They even threw in three non-alcoholic cocktails and two coffees at the end.
We even had the apartment we stayed in last time (209). It was brilliant. The apartments were really roomy and clean. The maids came in every day and cleared up the beds and stuff.
My only complaints were that none of the staff that were there last time were there and that the restaurant was quite expensive and you may as well eat out. Also, shopping in Turkey is very cheap and side is only a few minutes away in taxi (it cost 10 lira to go there) and there is loads of shops in side.
Otherwise, it is brilliant in Turkey and I would recommend anyone to go there as it is so cheap!

Just returned from a week at Green Apartments had a fab time, hotel basic but clean breakfast continental we had no trouble with noise or lack of sun beds if you wanted them when we stayed and found staff to be very helpful. Side is wonderful and would certainly go again, no problems with the bomb which we heard of the day before we went not many had heard about it. Not many British in this resort so when you run the gauntlet each evening to eat you don't understand what they say but once they find out you are British they soon change lingo.
Lots of good places to eat we loved the Queens the food was great and Jack and his staff couldn't do enough for us, also UMUT was really nice but stay away from Brothers they don't seem to like Brits and we didn't like them the food not really up to much either.
Martin at Info travel just on the corner down the road was really helpful in booking our trips and the River Rafting was fantastic value at £10 for the day of rafting and fun lunch included.
The old part of Side well worth a visit takes about 40 mins walking along the beach. You really need to haggle to get good prices.
Take the bus to the beach from the Hotel which is free. 4euros per couple for sun beds & brolly takes about 5-10mins but much nicer than the busy beach down hill from the hotel. All in all great holiday roll on next year.

We were a little dubious as this was a last minute decision and reviews seemed pretty mixed. However we had nothing to fear as this was an excellent holiday venue. Whilst fairly basic what was lacking in grandeur was made up several times over by the warm friendly attitude of the hotel and all associated with it.
The rooms ware spacious and clean - maybe the aircon could be a little more efficient - but this is a minor point. The quality of food was excellent - far better than many of the local restaurants, especially on the feature nights such as Russian dancing, and bbq folk / belly dancing. The big plus for this hotel was the friendly, sincere staff from the waiters to the cleaning staff - they were a credit to themselves, the hotel, and turkey! Great shuttle service to the beach - and again Attila and his team at the beach were superb - unfortunately we missed out on the Wednesday beach party!! The pool was well kept and always clean - what more can be said - we have stayed in some of the worlds top hotels and not had so much fun - well done all at green aparthotel!!!!!
P.s. If you get the chance book the "bon voyage" boat cruise for your last day - £30 well spent on a great day and transfer to airport and hotel room thrown in with excellent lunch on the boat and dinner at the hotel - a great end to a great holiday!!

Have just returned from 2 weeks in side. Green Aparthotel is clean spacious with good pool, although not nearly enough sun beds per apartments. This provided entertainment everyday as people argued over them (had to be up by 5am, apparently, to bag a bed with towel!) Staff friendly, although English poor, supermarket unpriced and a little expensive. Worst thing about resort is touts. Tired quickly of touts outside shops, restaurants, bars, and places that sold trips. Eating out was reasonable but Turkey is not cheap any more. When I eventually managed to catch up with the rep she this was because the resort is “up-market”. More like due to growing number of all-inclusive hotels. I wouldn’t return.

I stayed here with my mother and granddaughter for one week in September and we all had a lovely holiday.
The swimming pool was clean, however the only down side was that there was no shallow end. A shock to the system at first but not a problem for swimmers. There was a small pool for the young children.
We opted for the half board option and found the food to be plentiful and fresh and with a different selection for the evening meal every day of the week. They even made special arrangements for us to have our meal early on our last day as we were due to leave for the airport half an hour before they usually served the evening meal.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the owner of the aparthotel used to wander around the gardens introducing himself to the guests.
There is a small supermarket on site, which caters for all the necessities, and there is a bus service that runs from the hotel to the beach in Side.
The rooms were a good size and even though we were half board we had an apartment with a kitchen area and two bedrooms, plenty of room for our party.
We visited Side, which is a lovely but touristy town. Plenty of shops to visit and barter in and just have a chat with the people. There are plenty of restaurants all more highly recommended and cheaper than the last one!!! (We were trying to find the one where it was so cheap they must be giving it away!!!)
The roman ruins are awesome when you think about how long they have been there and the history that surrounds them. It’s very surreal to just wander around and climb over these pillars and stones that are so old.

My family and I enjoyed the green apartments (hotel-wise) mostly because of its friendly staff. They will keep you entertained with their daft games and tricks but shouldn't annoy you too much! They can play the music all night long though, which when your tired after a day of walking and activity can get a little annoying!! The pool is deep and not suitable for children that cannot swim or if they do not have swimming aids, but otherwise they should be fine as long as you keep a close eye on them!!
The hotel is situated quite a long way from the beach and I wouldn’t try walking it too often, but it is possible. We advise take the bus. Don’t worry it is free but you can never be sure of the times that it arrives at.
The hotel has a little shop, which you can buy inflatable, goggles, food and drink etc for a reasonable price. The hotel is dominated (about 2/3) by the Germans so be prepared to be getting up early to get a towel and "reservation". There are also some Dutch there but they speak amazing English!
The food is good quality but avoid the seafood, which I received a, less than pleasant, stomach bug from. Everything else is pretty clean though and the chef will go out of his way to make virtually anything for you. There is a brilliant Chinese restaurant down the road, which we really enjoyed.
BEWARE OF THE ROADS THE DRIVERS ARE SUICIDAL!!!!!!!!!!!
There are many trips on offer which you can get from the town centre. We highly recommend the Jeep Safari which we just thought was fantastic!! You are allocated a jeep between each family and drive it yourself which adds to the action! We drove all through the countryside and up mountains and even up to a dam. The water was beautifully blue and the views were spectacular at the top. After that we dove about another 5 miles to a tiny restaurant in the valley, but still in the middle of no-where!! There was a lake next to it and whilst waiting for you meal you could rent out a jet ski or swim in the freeeezing lake and jump off the pier. This was great fun and the meal was superb. We then went to Manavgat waterfalls which was very pretty and tranquil. Germans went with us but were constantly squirting us with their water pistols, which kept them entertained, and we threw water right back at them which felt good!! THIS ADDED TO THE FANTASTIC TRIP THAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR HOLIDAY!!
The watersports on Apollo beach were great and the powerboat with the windsailing was brilliant.
Overall the holiday was fairly good and i would give it a 7/10.
try to avoid: seafood, the dangerous roads and the town of side which gives you non-stop 'hassling'!! do not go unless you can ignore annoying people-It was something to remember though, but not in a good way unfortunately!

The apartments were good, fairly big. The staff in the pool side bar and restaurant were friendly and made you feel welcome.
The centre itself was a bit of a walk from the apartment itself.
Due to it being the end of the season there were not much there and the people were dragging you in.
I don’t feel we would go back to Side, we have tried Altinkum and really enjoy it there so we will be going back to Altinkum.
