Olimpo Terazza Hotel

We stayed at the Olimpo in September 2005. The brochure explains that you need to use a Lift and a fuinicular to reach the Hotel, so we were well prepared. Although time was needed to enter and exit the Hotel this was a small price to pay for the excellent views across the mountains and sea. We stayed at the Olimpo with our two children (7&9) in August which is on the hillside overlooking Letojanni with great views to Taormina and across the sea to Italy. It was well worth upgrading to a sea view. The hotel guests are mainly Italian with British next, then a few French and Germans. Food was buffet style for breakfast and dinner and was a consistently high standard. We've just returned from a week at the Olimpo Hotel. The hotel is set high on a hill which provides fantastic views out to the sea. The buffett breakfast was of a good standard. We would recommend swapping the evening buffet meal as this was pretty average and very samey for the buffett lunch which always provided a good hot selection. Me and my partner have just returned from the Olimpo Hotel and it was fantastic. The location and views are breathtaking. The food is superb and dining in the Belvedere at lunch time was a lovely experience. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. An added bonus was being able to use the facilities at the 2 sister hotels. The rooms are very spacious and a sea view room is a must. I stayed here at this wonderful hotel with my wife and two kids we had a great time swimming sight-seeing the food was great.The service was wonderful.We celebrated my wife's birthday there it was great we will definately be going back again.

This was our first holiday in Sicily and we were not dissapointed, the hotel is absolutely fantastic, the rooms were fairly average but comfortable and spacious but the rest of the hotel made up for it, the swimming pool is nice and clean and there are lots of sunbeds, the staff at the hotel are very friendly and the food was absolutely gorgeous, there was a different Italian Region every night with plenty of choice, myself being vegetarian did not go hungry. My husband and I stayed at the Olimpo several times while living in Sicily between 2000-2003. It is truly a wonderful property located on a hill with gorgeous views of the sea and convenient to Taormina, located in the coastal community of Lettojanni. The hotel provides a shuttle into Taormina. There is a cool elevator that takes you to the bottom of the cliff for easy access to the beach. Not luxurious but absolutely beautiful location, excellent food..the buffet at dinner is a very good standard and great for vegetarians, good pool, free access to beach lido with beds and umbrellas, lots of Italian guests, spacious rooms, close to public transport. Letojanni is quaint and unsophisticated in the best possible way... shades of Fellini. The Olimpo is a relaxed and pleasant place to stay and good value for money. Make sure you book a room with a sea view (although we were moved to one on request). Bella.

We stayed at the Antares Olimpo at the end of July 2002. The weather was excellent, so we put the pool area to good use. The property was quite busy when we were there, however, there were always enough sunbeds to go round. Our room was of a high standard and offered a great view down the coast. Best enjoyed with a bottle of beer and a cigarette. We were on all inclusive and the drinks and service were excellent.
