I stayed in Drossia Palms with 6 other girls, it was our first holiday all together and we were nervous because we tend to have very high standards!! We were over impressed!!!
We arrived in the earlier hours of the morning, and were gladly welcomed by bar the and reception staff, as well as the 24hours drinkers!! From the moment we got there we felt totally safe, and after talking to other people on holiday in Malia, we knew we had the best apartments!!!
Gregory and Stavrous were so funny! and Danny our rep was crazy, along with LITTLE MAN!(private joke).
If you are going to Malia you must stay here! it was the best!! i do not know how we will ever top it??

I went to Malia in July 2004 and stayed here for a week with my boyfriend.
Wowzers, this place was a real gem.....the hotel was clean. smelt good and even had a kitchen. Of course having the best room in the hotel helped, but I couldn’t have asked 4 more!
The shower actually worked, the large mirrors and marble finished bathroom made the room liveable, compared to my mates tel down the road that only had hot water for 3 hours every day a broken loo.
The pool was ok, not too packed. GET AIR CON !!!
Cos its just down the road from McD's
and loads of restaurants we just jumped on the quad and went looking for dinner most nights, although we cooked ourselves a few times, the kitchen was well equipped.
Oh and they let me borrow the hairdryer 4 the whole week - which was good.
The staff were friendly and really helpful especially after I cut my elbow open in a clubbing accident, managed to stumble back to the reception drunk, they cleaned up the blood put a mystery lotion on it and I even got a plaster! I was impressed with they’re first aid skills oh yes I was.
We drove to a water park about 45mins away in another town, (but there’s coaches that take you there if a quads not your thing) which isn’t brilliant but worth the experience.
The only thing to be wary of are the cleaners, they’re all smiles to your face but we had an issue with one of them, she said we 'stole' some towels and said we would have to pay some euros for their loss at the reception on our last day. NOT GOOD, as we didn’t need to nick towels or even want to we argued with the owner and ended up letting them check our bags before we checked out. :0( Its not easy packing and then re-packing with a hangover the size of an elephant before catching the plane home....
I could go on 4eva but I'll let you experience it yourself. Have fun !

I stayed in this hotel because I thought it would be a bit nicer than the other hotels in Malia, and it was. Me and my girlfriend were very happy in this hotel, on the nights that we didn’t go out till all hours of the morning staying in and having an early night was a possibility, noise is non existent in this hotel.
The only noise comes from people walking up and down the hall. Stavros the bar man is possibly the nicest Greek ever, more than happy to help with anything that you need as are all of the staff, because it is quite a small hotel, you get to know the staff making the whole stay a lot more comfortable... very clean and comfortable.
Ps. air conditioning is a must have.

This apartment lived up to my expectations, it was located on beach road but a little bit further along so that it wasn’t in the middle of all the noise. One thing that I thought was fantastic is the fact that the bar and reception is open 24 hours so if u ever have a problem or need a drink they are available.
the only complaints I have about this place are the cleaners are so rude!!!!! They wake u up in the morning on purpose and draw your curtain so that the light shines in your eye, we soon got used to them though and it became the joke of the holiday.
anyway if you’re YOUNG, LIVELY and like LOUD music stay here if you don’t then Malia and the Drossia palms ARENT for you.

Well, just got back from mad Malia, had a fab time, me and the bird.
Every night there’s something to do, loads of restaurants, there’s even a maccy d's. We stayed at Drossia palms, it was top, the hotel was so clean and fresh, they has a great menu, 3 euros for a full English, cant go wrong, the staff are great to especially Stavros the bar man. Off his head, we rented a quad bike for a couple of days and saw loads of the island,
Going back next year, cant wait

I stayed in the Drossia Palms for a fortnight in May 2005 with my boyfriend.
The apartments were situated in an ideal location close to the nightlife, but just far enough away to let you have a good nights sleep. Also the beach is only a couple of hundred metres away.
The staff were extremely friendly which made for a great atmosphere.
The pool area was very pleasant perfect for a drink and to catch a few rays.
I would recommend these clean, modern apartments to anyone.
And yes the weather was fantastic.

The hotel was lovely and clean, despite the fact that it only had a 3 star rating.
There was always something to do in the town. It was a very clubby atmosphere with most places not closing until 4am.
Despite this the noise could not be heard from the hotel so we always had a good nights sleep.
The hotel is also off of the main street, which made me feel safer.
The main beach was very crowded but there were also different, smaller secluded beaches.
Every night we could eat at a different place, and there was always English food for those who were more picky.
The drinks & food were all good value for money in the Greek restaurants, the English ones were more dear, but not as expensive as in England.
