We have been going to zante since 1999 and this year we stayed at the cronulla. It was wonderful. The family who own and run it are the nicest people you could ever meet.Tom's a bit of a plonker but you can just ignore him. The rooms are very clean and you will always meet old friends at the bar because a lot of people go back year after year. We did miss Ellie this year (she as finished) good luck to her and her family.Thank you all at cronulla see you very soon. Jane@Keith

Very nice resort, weather was brilliant. Very close to bars and restaurants, has some fantastic meals.

The hotel was very good but basic especially the kitchen. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Only real problems were the airport noise, as this was very close. At night, there was a lot of noise along the main road which ran past the hotel and air conditioning was expensive - 40 euros for one week (which did drown out some of the outside noise).

On the whole Zante is highly recommended for a visit and would definitley go back to the Cornulla Apartments.

This was the first time I had been on holiday as a single parent and after being in the Cronulla complex for about 5 minutes, all my worries had completely gone. From the moment we walked into the hotel we where met by welcoming smiles by Dia and Stephen and looked after from there on for the next two weeks by them and their family. We also met some lovely people whom many had been to the Cronulla many times before.

The accommodation was basic but clean and all you needed, as there are so many lovely places to eat out, and at a reasonable price too. There are also a large variety of bars in Kalamaki to choose from. Some where you can just chill out and have a quiet chat, or others where you can have a dance or maybe enjoy some karaoke. Whatever your choice it's there, but it isn't over bearing, and feels safe for children and not as boisterous as the nearby Laganas.

There was only one bar for us though, and that was our brilliant pool side bar at the Cronulla Hotel. With its large screen TV’s to watch special events and the internet cafe at hand; it is certainly keeping up with the times! Tom, Jimmy and Suzanne the bar staff were heaps of fun and made every night more enjoyable and entertaining than the last, and made our holiday!

Cronulla is ideal for children as they have such a large pool area to play in, and when they get bored of that there are other activities to keep them amused in the games room and in the bar area.

Kalamaki has everything to offer for a relaxing enjoyable holiday, including a stunning sandy beach with stretching shallow waters, also ideal for kids.

I would recommend the Cronulla to any person, and will definitely be returning as soon as possible.

We stayed for 2 weeks with a large party of 17 people, whose ages ranged from 12 to 80. I found it to be a lovely family run hotel, very fairly priced, clean and friendly.

During our stay a family emergency called for 7 members of our party to return home immediately. The staff at the Cronulla could not have been more compassionate and helpful, arranging taxis and flights.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel especially with the lovely Dia as a host and aided by her charming family. We'd also like to pass on our thanks to the wonderful Ellie, if ever a waitress could could light up a room with a smile, she could! She was so courteous and friendly, she really did take care of us.

If I was forced to make a criticism of this hotel, then the only comment I would make is that it's a bit too hot by the pool table and the internet area!!!

We booked this holiday last minute so were unsure of quite what we'd get... what can I say?

This was an excellent holiday and extremely good value for money. Kalamaki has a nice mixture of bars and tavernas and was both accommodating to families and those looking for a bit of nightlife.

The weather was excellent. It's also a short taxi journey to Laganas which is where to go if you want really good nightlife.

The Cronulla Hotel apartments were lovely - the family run establishment was very clean and tidy.

The rooms were a little bit basic and the air conditioning was an extra 40 Euros, but was well worth it considering the temperature was 45 degrees! If you're looking for somewhere that has facilities to cook a decent meal in then this doesn't get top marks, however the hotel has its own bar and cafe which serves delicious food at good prices and is surrounded by plenty of wonderful restaurants.

I would definitely recommend this hotel, the family who run it were wonderfully friendly and you certainly felt at home there.

It's so good that we're trying to see if we can go back before the end of summer again.

Top marks.

Room was really clean. Staff...

Room was really clean. Staff were friendly. Towels and sheets changed regularly.

No air conditioning and was 45 degrees when we were there. There was a fan in the room though. Bed was really comfy.

Pool was clean and not too busy. Resort had some lovely restaurants and bars were ok if you like karaoke. Best bar was the cave bar at the top of a hill/cliff overlooking the sea, and there is a free shuttle jeep going up there - the sunsets from here are amazing, and the beer was nice too.

House wine at the restaurants was also very good, especially if you like it strong! Stay clear of Laganas on a night out, unless you enjoy partying with a load of lashed up English.

And do a day trip around the island to the blue caves, that was amazing.

All in all a brilliant holiday, I would definitely go back.

This hotel was lovely, really nice, rooms were clean and spacious, and towels were changed every 2 days. The bar had friendly staff and good food/drinks, the pool was very big, there was an area for kids, plenty of sun beds.

The beach was only 10 mins away and the hotel was surrounded but lots of bars and restaurants, this is also 15 mins away from Zante town. The family which run the hotel were lovely and welcoming. The only thing I would say was that the air con wasn't working whilst we were their so we had to hire a fan from the shop next door, which was quite cheap. Other than that I couldn't fault the hotel.

We booked this holiday last minute and I have to say, for what we paid, it was excellent value for money. The hotel itself is very basic but does have a really nice pool and bar area and the location is excellent, right on the main road where you can find all the shops, bars and restaurants.

There is a good selection of restaurants, all quite reasonably priced. The only problems we had with the hotel were that the air conditioning was broken for the whole week and some days hit 45 degrees and didn’t drop that much at night so we had 7 restless nights, we had to hire fans from the local shop for 20 euros for the week. The other issue was the lift. This was also out of order and trying to carry suitcases up 6 flights of stairs at the start of our holiday was a bit of a pain but once that’s out of the way, its not too bad (I did get fitter climbing those stairs throughout the week!).

If you go left out of the front of the hotel onto the main street and walk down that road, past Sofia's supermarket, there is a rooftop restaurant with fantastic views of the sea and a fantastic menu as well - excellent restaurant - would definitely recommend.

Overall, the hotel has a good location, Kalamaki is great for families and the weather was fantastic throughout. I would say, looking at the other hotels when walking around Kalamaki, that the Cronulla is definitely one of the better hotels.

A friendly family run hotel, exclusive to Argo. Swimming pool, drinks and snack bar, Greek night (better than that of tour operator).Representative available every day.

Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance, very reasonably priced food and of excellent quality. A range of eating places e.g., restaurants snack bars coffee bars. Also speciality restaurants e.g., Greek, Chinese, Indian and English.

Beach within 15-20 minutes walk, sandy beach with plenty of sunshades and lounges, beautiful sea, clean and ideal for those who may not to venture too far out due to you being able to walk a fare distance out without having to swim.

A very hospitable county which was clean, safe (especially at night) with very friendly people.
