Comments:  The Costa Encantada is great! Our room far surpast our expectations - spacious, clean and well equipt. Food choice was sometimes slightly limited but i think this was the time of year, it wasnt very busy and if there was anything else on offer there would have been lots of waste. On our last night, the evening meal was outstanding. Traditional seafood Paella, Salmon Steaks, Pizza for the kids.... Entertainment was really good. The entertainment team were very enthusiastic and activities were on off throughout the day and night! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Comments:  hiya i came bk from this hotel 1 week ago on sunday but over all what i think about the hotel was spectacular but off a night t entertainment was ok but not enough and enjoying as last year this would be better off again as the sunset it was much better the hotel itself was spotless and i wouldnt change a thing. the out side of the hotel it is brilliant i loved the resturants and the beach and the theme parks and water parks espically the marine land i came here with my sisters and my dad and my sisters didnt enjoy the night time in the club only the day beside the poolbut i believe that it could be better as a sunset team again
thanks for listening to my review and i hope that thomas cook take in what has been said.

Comments:  Me and my family have just come back from our holidays at this hotel. I can honestly say it was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. It was spotless. The maids cleaned our rooms everyday and made sure we had enough towels.
The rooms idea and can easily sleep a family of six. There was 10 in our party so we had 2 rooms. 5 in each. theres 2 bathrooms in each apartment so theres no moaning who can use the bathroom next. Fennels is near by and Lorret de mar is just a walk away. If your looking for a family beach holiday with sunshine you couldn't ask for anything more. All the facilties are on your doorstep. Macdonalds,Burgerking, discos, bars. shops, supermarkets so you won't be with out.
The hotel has its own entertainment programme thoughout the day and evening (including a kids club) The entertainment at night is not bad and is aimed at the family. The kids will love the party songs. Including the no no no song which will you remmber before your holiday is out. 1 week is long enough in my opinion.
We are thinking of coming back next year.

Comments:  Apartment was roomy. spotless clean and comfortable, couldn't ask for more. The resort was far enough away from Bustling LLoret but within a short bus ride. Buses were every 15-20 mins. Quiet time of the year which suited us aged 48.48 and 15.Fenals is a nice beach and promenade about 10 to 15 mins walk away. The hotel Restaurant was clean, the food was ok.Not up to British 4 star standard. A variety of food but all as you would expect from Spain , all with chips. Food was not always hot enough, we used the microwave which was meant for baby food to heat our food sometimes. Most UK flights are very early morning, you have to be out of room at 10.00AM. The charge for a later check out is £50 Euros, but that is only until 6.oo PM so you still have 8 hours to wait. This is very expensive. There is a luggage room with showers and changing rooms, but there are not enough lockers for everyone and you have to put a two Euro coin in everytime you open the locker. The entertainment is much the same as every other Hotel. The Thomas Cook reps are some of the best I have met, not too pushy but helpful and friendly. Some of the facilities had ceased when we went.I expect this place would be very , very busy in High season.but is was nice and relaxed whilst we were there.Drinks etc are expensive at the hotel but the main Supermarket is only 2 mins awayand you can get everything you need. I would reccomend this Hotel to anyone.

Comments:  Came back 2 days ago, the hotel, accomodation and the location is brilliant. The staff members at the resort are very friendly and helpful. the resort has 4 pools 3 are interconnected and 1 is for toddlers, which are clean everyday and it really looks like the photograph provided in the brochure. i went self catering because i like to try different food everyday. Before i went, i read the reviews on this paces, following that i went to the restaurant El Rancho- sorry to say it wasnt upto my taste - the pizzas were blend. the places i liked were he roxy's and the outside bar by the Hilltop hotel. the bus service is very good (noone speakes English though, but you can manage). the beach is wonderful and the hotel Surf Mar which is just opposite the beach, is good, i had dinner there twice and no complaints. Shopping lovers- there are plenty of shops selling the same stuff- but they dont give you the original price, they tell you double the price they should be selling it for, so dont forget to haggle. Be careful the shopkeepers speak Hindi and punjabi, the punjabi boys are very helpful but the boys who speaks Hindi are bad- they swear at you in Hindi knowing that you wouldnt understand, so before you go learn few indian swear words. only complaint i had was with Thomas cook, the booking they did, they booked us (whole group) in on the 16th knowing that we will be reaching there on the 12th at 8 o'clock in the morning and on the way back we had to check out by 10 o'clock on th 23rd and our flight was next morning at 5:15 am on the 24th. is't a bit silly, as we had no children we were fine but people with children struggled big time----so please check before you leave!!!!!!!!!! anyway no regrets i had a greta time ad i will definitely go again!!!!!!!!!

Comments:  Stayed here with my husband and two children aged 9 and 5. Had a great time couldnt fault the hotel, facilities or setting. The food was good something for everyone. The entertainment wasnt great but the annimation did their best, they were great with the kids. The childrens club was brilliant my kids loved it and thought the staff were great. Allround this was a super family holiday and would definitely reccomend this hotel to other families.

Comments:  Returned from the Costa Encantada in the last week of July. The hotel is clean, tidy and well maintained. The staff are obliging and very informative with one exception, the Barman in the Nautilus pub was the most miserable bugger on earth. If you catch him speaking or smiling I will give you £100.

The rooms are modern, the aircon worked a dream and the bathroom was spotless. The TV in the room has a scart socket, so if you take a mini DVD player you can watch your own movies.

Comments:  Myslef and my boyfriend stayed at these apartments half board, with our friends who we flew over with. I must say this complex is excellent. It has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. We only ate a twice in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner enjoyed having a walk out to different places for dinner. The breakfasts were lovely, the dinner was nice, they had a salad cart like you find at the harvester. Try the pork chops they are lovely, check first if the meat is steak or liver as it both looked the same, and the squid rings look like onion rings!!

Overall I would saty at these apartments, without a doubt, again

Comments:  I am 17 and me and my boyfriend have recently been on holiday to lloret de mar and stayed in the Costa Encantada aparthotel. We had a good flight over and our transfer to the hotel was quick and efficient, as we arrived at the Costa Encantada we were booked straight into our room. The apartment was very spacious and clean and had essential utilities had no problems with the room. Our room was regularly cleaned by the maid every other day and the apartment left very clean. The room could have easily catered for four people as we found out going as a couple. The rest of the hotel was also spotless. The pools were magnificent and the pool area has sun all day and you are not going to miss a minute if you stay poolside. The pool was thouroughly cleaned every night so were the sun loungers. Activities are carrried out at the hotel daily including, water polo, aqua gym, football and basketball. The entertainment team, hotel staff and reps were all great and informative. On the evenings entertainment continued into the night with different programmes each night. We had a wicked DJ on our last night and he played a range of music for everyone and for a range of ages. There is a mini maket on sight and its is in the reception of the hotel. There is also a supermarket off sight and is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and sells a larger range than the mini market and cheaper. We did try the hotel food which is down by the pool which sells a range of food at good price. We did not try the buffet as we didnt realise it was for self catering and half-board but heard that the buffet was very good but most nights being self catering we made our own meals also they had all you can eat buffet that was 13 euro each on the night, from half 7 till late. I found there was always lots to do for example i visited waterworld which is maximum price 23 euros for the day but for younger kids you have to pay depending on height which is cheaper. We also visited Marineland a water park with marine shows including spectacular dolphin and sealion show, we were amazed by both, this is a must have place to go. We spent a lot of the day in the water park and it was great fun. There are free buses from fenals and lloret to Waterworld, Marineland, and to other places which is not far from the hotel. We did visit the beach once but it wasnt for us. Fenals beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and it is a shingle beach and didnt appeal to us because we would have rather spent time by the pool as they were fantastic. There is also llorets beach which i bit more of a walk down into the centre of lloret and is part shingle part sand and there is blanes which is about 15-20 minute drive but there is a beautiful long stretch of sandy beach. Overall the area of lloret and fenals is brilliant and is a great tourist area and the local people are great.

The one thing we were not happy with is that we had to be out of our room at 10 in the morning but our return flight was not until 5.15 the next morning, but there were lockers which could hold at least 2 large suitcases which we had to pay 2 euros for each time you open the locker. It was lucky that we had planned to go to marineland that day so we were not just lounging around the hotel all day. We also watched the entertainment and played in the games room. It was just a long day to fly back aswel early in the morning it took it out of us.

Overall we had a spectactular holiday and we would definately go back to the Costa Encantada and the fenals and lloret area. We both miss being there and would just love to still be there.

Cant wait to go back!!!!!

Comments:  I think the hotel was very clean and spacious for four people. the kitchen was very impressive with a large fride and cooker and the little hatch.

The staff were friendly and always helpful, we had a maid service everyday and clean towels every day fair enough you had to take your own rubbish to the bin but it wasnt very far to go to the bins!!
The reception was big and there was a supermarket also which was reasonably priced, there was also a set of weighing scales for your luggage a nice feature when the airlines are so strict with cases being over he allowance.

The pool was really large and clean there were staff around all day to do water gym kids games volley ball etc. there were plenty of sun loungers to choose from too.

The food was ok but what you would normally expect from a foreign country.

Our group went into Lloret every night and only seen a few stag or hen parties, there was a BIG family bar called the Queen Vic which always had kids in with thier parents and there were lots of spanish people which is what i would expect going to spain, think its a bit sad when you go to another country and complain about lack of english food and english people if thats not what you want got to butlins!!!

I would definately recomend this hotel to all my friends and family its the best i've stayed in.

Comments:  I have just returned from a weeks holiday from the Costa Encantada apartments with my partner and family. They rate themselves as 4-Star but it is definately more 3-Star. I was quite disappointed with the service we received. Towels and beds are changed every two days, also you have pay for airconditioning (7 Euros a day) and empty your own rubbish bins. i really thought for a 4-Star hotel that this was a bit disappointing. We went half board food was quite repetative and there was not much of a selection for children - chicken and chips. if you like fish dishes or salads there was plenty of choices, but what i found a bit irratating was even if you put your knife and fork down to talk whilst eating the waiter were straight over to lift you plate a bit OTT. You definately will not get a lie on as the music at the pool starts between 9.30 and 10 am - abit dodgy- rave music, spanish music. However, staff were very nice and most nights we went down to the wee local bar aroubd the corner El Sid - bar staff are so nice, food is dead on and drinks are really cheap. For families this hotel is grand as there is entertainment on every night. We had my wee sister who is 14 with us and decided to go into Lloret De Mar centre, (10 minute walk) but could not wait to get back out as this resort is more 18-30 age group, and full of stag and hen parties, we could not find any family bars at all.

Comments:  Hi,

I would just like to say that over the past 7 years i have been to the Costa Encantada aparthotel over 10 times. I find this hotel to have high standards in all areas including the cleanliness of rooms, pool area, restaurant (both half board and self catering). I always find the staff very helpful and understanding if i need something from them.

As i have been going to this hotel for so long, i have recently brought large amounts of family members with us over and also have had plenty of friends booking holidays to the Costa Encantada though hearing our views.

I feel that people havent give credit to this hotel where the credit has been due! We go away to enjoy other cultures in a foreign country so obvisiously you will not see all british people, if that is what you are looking for stay at home.

All in all i give the Costa Encantada 10 out of 10 is all aspects and areas, if you choose to travel to this hotel you will not be dissappointed, whether ur 2, 12, 22+ u are catered for in and around the hotel.

Comments:  The Costa Encantada Apartments were spotless and quite spacious for a family of 4 [my wife, twin sons of 15 and myself].
The amenities and entertainment was very poor [maybe the time of year];the snack/pool bar, pub, Pizzeria were all shut and the entertainment was totally geared for the Spanish Pensioners who took over the whole complex.
The Hotel is rather remote from the resort centre [20 mins away], and the resort was over priced and full of shops offering you a 'good price' for booze/souvenirs/etc.Very hard sell, which we have never experienced before in mainland Spain.
The resort has plenty of bars, cafes, shops, etc. But, the poor exchance rate of the Euro [1.2] made this an expensive holiday for self catering.
Overall, not value for money.

Comments:  I went with my boyfriend to this hotel the first week in September and weather was amazing! The hotel is definitely not a 3 star... I would say easily a 4 star!

I'm not sure where all these other people ate... I thought the hotel food was great! Being honest it didn't have a large variety, there was the usual salad buffet with plenty of variety (was nice and fresh) and the dessert counter had a good selection as well but it wasn't clear what everything was. The main buffet had a selection of fish, meat and chicken dishes with a variety of side dishes such as chips potatoes and pasta!

The pool was big and the pool and poolside area was always clean and tidy, there was always plenty of sun loungers! and the poolside bar was cheap. The only downside to the pool area was the dodgy music the hotel played, was glad when the kids club turned it off to play party tunes in the afternoon for the kids! lol

The Rooms were very clean and spacious. The kitchen had all the stuff you need, with a big fridge/freezer and cooker :) ! The living area was a good size and the balcony was the biggest I've seen yet. The toilet was a good size as well!

The hotel itself was always very clean and the mini market inside the hotel was good and wasn't to expensive! The supermarket is only across the street from the hotel and the Fanels beach is only a short walk down the road, it was very easy to find :) !

The beach isn't very child friendly as the water gets very deep as soon as you stand in it, I even seen people diving in lol !! But since there's no sand (shingle?) .. you don't get it everywhere :) !

Overall this holiday was amazing and I would definitely go back!
