Fantastic Holiday from Chaskaslas
The Costa Encantada is fantastic. We had a brilliant time. The apartments are clean with plenty of service for towels, bed changing, etc. The faciilties are brilliant, especially if you have children. two parks, amusements, pool is out of this world and the entertainment at night is excellent too. Keeping the room on, on the last day can be costly, but they have showers downstairs with great toilets and a luggage store for your cases and hand luggage - we didn't keep our room on and never missed it. I thought that was an excellent facility they provided. I would highly recommend it and would love to go back again. Lloret de Mar is a great place with plenty to do for everyone - and if you are going, go to the Leman Restaurant, its a 10 minute walk from the Costa Encantada and the food is superb - we ate there 5 nights out of 7.
The best hotel in the resort from A TripAdvisor Member
We stayed at the Costa Encantada May half term for two weeks on a half board basis. The hotel is great. Very clean and very friendly. We had a one bedroomed apartment which was a very good size. The kids used the bedroom and we slept very comfortably in the lounge. We had a good sized kitchen with a large fridge freezer (ideal for ice creams) and a new oven and ceramic hob. The bathroom was clean and had a hair drier. Regular maid service and as many towels and toilet rolls as you want!! We were in block B overlooking the pool, I think this is probably the best position, as block A is over the play area and C is over the disco bar. The only noise we had was people arriving and leaving with cases during the night (only night flights). The pools are great, only spoilt by selfish people who hog the sun loungers all day and go shopping - but you get that everywhere. The food was lovely. A good choice all the time and no shortage. Both our children ate really well and they are both fussy eaters. Plenty of space and again clean as a whistle. A building was demolished infront of the hotel just before we arrived. All debris were removed while we were there, so the plot is now ready for development. It didnt really cause us any problem but it might be worth finding out more if your concerned. If you want to hire a car, I woudn't bother with the reps Avis deals, we used Euro Inter Car (Less than half the reps prices). Just make sure your fully covered (CDW). The beaches are nice and clean. They are shingle and do have a very steep slope. Our children who are 7 and 2 played fine in the rock pools either end of the beaches. This was much safer. Lloret beach was always very busy Fenals was less crowded. The best beach was ST. Franchesca which is between Fenals and Blanes. Only used by locals and worth finding if you hire a car. Also worth a visit is Tossa de mar. This is very pretty and has much better shops than Lloret or Fenals. Barcelona is easy to get around if you use the metro. This is also very cheap. Eating out - try the Hungry Horse, fantastic food and the kids loved it. If you want grocery's use the Caprabo which is under the Condado hotel - much cheaper than the hotel shop. Overall we had a great holiday. Lorret and Fenals are not pretty (except the beaches which are), a bit like costa del sol - spoilt by ugly hotels and over building, but the hotel made the holiday. It must be the best in the resort. Hope this helps!!!

This Place was great the non stop entertainment from the entertainers was exelent the place is also very well kept the only problem i came across was in the disco bar at night where the nightly shows are isn't good for viewing the the acts on stage the piller get in the way and for smokers there are no tv's outdoors so you can't really see the show Having said that when you get a good seat then the only problem for me was the act the temptations whom asked if anyone was in from germany ierland walse and england NOT Scotland!! Also if you go i went on the reps Barca trip Sports and Fountins which was great and A MUST GO.

Went to llorett de mar on the 20th may had the most fantastic time ever, the weather was great all week. Stayed at the costa encantada and it was the best hotel weve stayed in, the staff were all brilliant the reps and the entertainers were brilliant, they all work extremely hard 7 days a week and have always got a smile. The staff at the hotel are all english speaking and went out of there way to make you feel welcome and helpful. We couldnt keep our little boy out of the kids club, he was there every day. The food was exellent and you could help yourself to everything there was a huge variety. The rooms very really clean and were tended to most days by maids and there were always clean towels. Lorett itself the shops are ok but really much of the same things, didnt try the night life as we had a little one so cant comment, but went on a catamaran to Tossa De Mar this little place is outstanding and is definatley worth a visit, there is a beautiful castle and the streets ar amazing like picture book scenes, the beach was so hot though it was hard to stand on. The beaches at lloret and fenals are both shingles so a bit uncomfortable but the sea is gorgeous. This is the first time we have been abroad and loved every minute we would definatley recommend the costa encantada and will be going back next year.
Great hotel but noisy from A TripAdvisor Member
This is a fantastic hotel. Very clean with friendly staff. We had a one bedroom apartment, which was ample for 2-4 people. The on site shop came in very handy and the restaurant was excellent value with great food for 12 euros in the evenings. It seems to be a family orientated hotel and is more suited to families with children. I would not recommend this hotel if you are a couple looking for a quiet holiday. There is a bar within the hotel next to the shop, which is open until 2 or 3 in the morning.Our room was in the same block as this bar at the front of the hotel.The bar was not too noisy, but there is a childrens play area in front of the bar where children played whilst parents were drinking outside the bar. The children were very noisy, screaming and shouting until the early hours of the morning and this went on every night. I don't expect people to go to bed early when they are on holiday, but 2 and 3 in the morning was a bit too much every night and very noisy. Once the bar had closed and all seemed quiet, you had people returning to their rooms down a corridor which has a ceramic tiled floor, which again was very noisy. Late night arrivals is usual with this hotel, so you had a fair amount of noise again in the early hours of the morning with cases being dragged along the corridors and doors banging. Apart from the noise, which ruined the holiday for us, I would recommend this hotel as I could fault nothing else. If you like more than 4 hours sleep at night ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

back a few weeks and thought i would write a review to update people who went to this hotel last year and also to help those out who are planning to go. The standard of everything at this hotel is still excellent, the food, the rooms, the staff and also the entertainment staff!!! Phil from last year is still there sadly the other guys and gals arent but they have been replaced with wonderful entertainment staff who are there to learn the trade and what a great guide to help them PHIL, still mad! the bar staff are all the same as well. Its a wonderful hotel, i would recommend it to all ages and groups of people, the hotel and also Lloret caters for every need possible!! Glad to report that i just cant get enough of the place that i am going back for a week in september!!! that will be my third time in a year! Really looking forward to it!! this hotel is a must for Lloret!! No photos this time as sadly my camera was stolen in barcelona a week later! anyway please visit this hotel and enjoy!

Me and my family have just come back from Costa Encantada it was brill the reps were fantasic phil i have to say was just a mad brill guy i hope when i go back next year he is there the reps were great in the evening every thing about this hotel was perfect.
Good but not as good as other reviews say from Jums
We have just come back from the Costa Encantada. I was jubious of what the actual rooms would be like and i would describe the accomodation as okay. We stayed in a studio and although i expected the room to be small, i did not realise that i would have to walk sideways around it with fear of bumping into something. I can not comment on the one and two bedroom apartments because i never went in one. Our room was on the roof, next door to the extractor fans from the kitchen, this meant noise throughout the day as well as the smell of what was cooking, which made me feel sick by the end of the week. If we visited in peak season i would have had to move to another room, I could not have had the door to the balcony open. The facilities at the hotel are good and i would definitly recommend it for families, there is a lot for children to do at this place. Kids club, playground, two swimming pools, tennis courts, football pitch as well as nightly entertainment. Lloret de Mar is in need of a face lift and is quite grotty. Eating establishments in the area are either cafes of fast food places. The beaches are also stoney, which I personally do not like. My partner and I are well travelled and although I would only give this accomodation 3 out of 5, however it is obvious as to why families with young children rate the costa encantada highly. We got our holiday as a very cheap week away, which is what I feel a trip to Costa Encantada is good for. This hotel clearly stands out as being better thant other accomodations in the resort. I went to this hotel with friends. It was absolutely brilliant. It was great hotel all round. Staff were always willing to help. The entertainment was enjoyable. Rooms very clean. Food nice, pool very big, .Theres plenty of things to do. Hotel about 10 minutes walk to the pubs and clubs. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Its that good im going back this year in august.

Our family went on this holiday to recover from a bad holiday at new year and did it cheer us up! The food was out of this world and so was the staff and the accomodation and the location!
