Submitted By: Mr C MorrisWe stayed in a twin room, which was basic, but again was clean and the beds are changed often, towels every day.
The hotel offers lots of entertainment (especially for families with children!) there is always something happening if you are the sporty type ( volley ball, water polo, rifle shooting etc) and evening entertainment for the adults after the kids club disco.
There is one main pool, with a bar close by, good if you are all inclusive! and another shallow pool out of the way if you like more peace and quiet.
The food is quite basic, but if you are quite a picky eater there is always something on offer.
the resort is quiet, and you are a little way from the beach, but with a courtesy bus right outside the hotel it's easy to get to and from.
A very clean beach, a nice walk across the front....but not many shops, bars or restaurants. all in all a very quiet relaxing resort.

Submitted By: Lucil72Ideally situated just 15mins from the airport, the hotel was set just back from the main road.
A shuttle bus between Punta Prima and the hotel was provided free of charge and ran every 10 mins. The driver always had a smile on his face.
Although we don't have anything to compare this holiday to we were extremely impressed by the hotel staff, the accommodation, the facilities, and the entertainment staff.
The food was excellent, and having very fussy children we managed to find things they all liked at every meal. The bar staff worked continuously and were always pleasant and helpful.
One thing we worried about, going all inclusive, was the fact that there may be a lot of rowdy people late at night with the drinks flowing freely. I can honestly say I never saw one drunk person. The entertainment finished around 11 and everything went quiet.
This is definitely a destination for families as all the activities and entertainment revolve around children. Also I must mention the sunshine song that even I was dancing to by the end of the holiday.
Overall it was the perfect holiday for relaxing, although there wasn’t much to do outside the hotel.

Submitted By: Miss H ClarkeCould not fault the hotel, the food was excellent, even though my son is a picky eater, he still found something to tempt him &, if all else failed, cheese & ham toasties/hotdogs or pizza were served 3 times a day from the poolside.
Pub measures were extremely generous although limited choice.
Staff were all very pleasant and efficient. Rooms were cleaned every day.
The children’s entertainers were brilliant, for adults too. That darn sunshine song is stuck in my head for all eternity!
The hotel only loses points for lack of heated pool and limited entertainment for 10-15 year olds (too old for kids club & too young for most other activities).
Would venture to this hotel again but at a different time of year as most island attractions close at end of September.
Weather a warm 18-23 degrees.

The staff were very good at their jobs and we were very happy with our stay.
We will of course stay there again whenever we are in Minorca.

Submitted By: Mr M TrevillionWe hired a car. The best part of the island is the West. Apart from Cala en Blanes and Cala n Forcat the resorts are pretty but very quiet.
The food is good quality with a variety of choice. The hotel services all of them are very efficient. But very laid back. Waiting to them is normal.
The food I would say is above average. The staff as always are very friendly and helpful.
Get the sunbeds quick around the pool as they are always reserved very early on.
The beach is nice and not far away. The rooms are Ok but basic. The showers are tiny.
There were people moaning that the entertainment was not British enough and also that the all inclusive bar shuts at 11.00pm.
On holiday I do stay up later than that!! Would not return to this hotel and probably would not go back to Menorca.

Submitted By: Miss M ThomasThe food was ok but wasn’t really a good selection of children’s food or a very good breakfast for the children. I think the hotel food is more for adults rather than children.
The pool was excellent but it was hard to find a sun lounger as everyone put their towels out rather early.
The beach was about a 15 minute walk away which wasn’t bad. The nightlife of the town was ok with the market along the beachfront. We had a good time and overall the holiday was good, but I don’t think we will be coming back as we got a little bit bored.

Submitted By: Miss R YatesThe hotel has obviously undergone renovation and is modern and clean, especially the reception, which is manned 24/7.

We returned because we had a great time last year and we had an even better time this year. We met a family who were there last year! So what does this say about this hotel.

Submitted By: Mr J JoeNot so good: Room was cramped and had the smallest shower room I’ve ever seen (a real problem just getting in and out of the shower), entertainment was mainly mediocre at night and unless you reserved your seat in front of the tiny stage very early you couldn’t see anything, queues at the bar became tedious but at least you could order more than the usual 2 drinks, no beach which meant using the courtesy bus to Punta Prima, the lack of a Thomson rep was inconvenient there was a phone line you could ring but who wants to be bothered with that? Much better to see someone in person even for an hour every other day.
Overall this hotel tried to give you the feel good factor and succeeded, plenty kicking off but never too much pressure to join in and if you use it as a base to tour the island you will have a holiday to remember.

Submitted By: Mr S LangleyNo drinks machines for self service outside of restaurant, not even tea or coffee machines, so you can't get a hot cuppa tea if you wake up at 3am or just fill a glass of fanta yourself in the afternoon - you have to queue at the bar for it. Little kids have to queue at the same hatch bar to get a fanta and ice cream tub with big adults ordering vodka and beer. Not very good. Not an adequate bar, worst we've ever encountered actually, just not a proper bar. Beach courier efficient but beach not worth visiting.
Nothing to do except sit round pool, which gets very crowded and rough with water guns stupidly allowed. Kids get bored. Entertainment team needs shooting, completely rubbish for day and evening entertainment. Lilo's and rings banned from pool, you will be told to get out, yet they're still sold in the hotel shop !
Main hotel rooms extremely small, tiny shower cubicles, light walls, can hear conversations between rooms; we had friends who didn't sleep for 5 nights because of noisy guests. Lots of illness, sickness and diarrhoea seemed endemic; we had it, our friends had it and lots of other people we spoke to had it. Lost 2 days of holiday with it, our friend lost 4 days with her daughter, then got ill herself. Air-con in main hotel is poor, but in bungalow was very good. Reception is excellent (Cieran especially) and lots of people were moving rooms.
Place needs a good management shake up, better cleaners, proper day bar, separate kids bar and adults, proper snack service, not a hatch opening and a "take it or leave it this is all you're getting" attitude. Not what we're used to, but got a lovely tan, lovely weather. Pity about the sickness and diarrhoea though, this affected loads of people we spoke to who were counting the days to go home.
Wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone to be honest, short flight but you can get better for your money.
