We had been to this Hotel twice prveiously in 2003 and 2004, with Thomsons. However, this time we chose Thomas Cook - Mistake.



We had delay leaving due to one of their cabin crew not turning in. However, that was nothing compared to our home bound flight - 5 hours delay due to Thomas Cook re-routing our plane to pick up XL passengers (not a rescue service- they charged them). Now we would have accepted this, if we had been informed before they picked us up at the hotels and dropped us at the airport knowing the above. Mahon airport on a Sunday is pretty grim! Thomas Cook lied - originally by saying there was fog in the UK, although the flight would sitll be 5 hours late. When my husband confronted them by pointing out that fog clears - they still insisted it would be 5 hours! However once we eventually boarded the plane the pilot informed us of the real reason. Then the flight took 3 hours rather than 2 as we had go to the long way round.



Getting back to the Hotel, the standards had dropped, whilst it was clean and the staff lovely, the food was not to the standard we had had previously. The hotel mainly catered for Spanish and German clients therefore the main course was always very greasy with garlic added to everything. By the second week we ended up eating chips on a bread roll, as therefore was nothing we could eat. The suckling pig meal though was enjoyed by the Germans. We like the fact that other nationalities are guests, and not just the British but we felt we should all be treated the same.



The pool area though is nice with plenty of sun beds, and once again the staff couldn't do enough for you.



We are sure if Thomsons used the Hotel, their clout would have ensured the British holidaymaker was looked after as in the past - Thomas Cook I don't think cares. We never ever saw our rep. In fact we were not told of the Welcome Meeting.



All in all this has put us of package holidays for ever. Thomas Cook will never ever get our custum again.

We loved everything about this hotel and resort. We went with our toddler son who is 20 months and have to say the hotel was well equipt for babies.



The room was lovely and comfortable, with nice big patio doors for a lovely view. Air conditioning and a ceiling fan, plenty of storage and spacious bathrooms. Towels changed daily. The food was excellent a varied choice, not much for the little ones in the evening though so i would bring or buy some baby food out there.



There is entertainment by the pool in the evening and we could hear it as we were near the stairwell and in most evenings by 11pm ( the entertainment does finish at 12) We did mention to the receptionist that we were disturbed by this and she shut the windows on the stairwell every evening and the problem was solved. Not if you had a room poolside though.



The pool itself was clean and the surrounding area. We never failed to get a sunbed anytime of the day.



The staff were really friendly we can't really fault this hotel and shall be returning like many people we met there next year.

Friendly, relaxing, clean - the hotel was lovely, everything we wanted from small and friendly. Facilities on the doorstep were superb, even has car hire available in the reception area.



This was our second visit and nothing is to much trouble for the staff of this hotel, would recommend it to couples as not much for the kids to do (which means not a favourite with families - so great if you want a hotel not over run with kids).



Bars on the doorstep do great food, with a few nice restaurants, prices also very reasonable.



Travel around the island is a must, as lots to see and do, but spend everyday by the pool and you'll feel you've had a relaxing holiday. Lots of loungers so no getting up early to reserve one.



This place is so nice, we going there again this year!
