Sadly l have to agree with a review from 2004 who said the location was the reason he marked the Hotel down. Indeed the walk from the Hotel into Vilamoura was scary and especially when you are told a pilot had been mugged and badly beaten only a week or so before you have... more

At night, this is not a great place unless you prefer to stay at a complex, in a group or are sober enough to drive a hire car if only a couple, it is basically in the residential side of Vilamoura and sides onto the back of a huge hotel complex which unfortunately for us... more

In February very quiet and pleasant. Access to Quarteria takes about 10 minutes walk through residential area to the main road through the town and the beach promenade. Very good beach and restaurants along the promenade. Staff speak excellent English and very helpful.... more

These apartments have a excellent pool area and the accomodation is very clean!If anything it is slightly dated but nothing you cant cope with. HOWEVER.... make sure you do not walk to the marina on a night, it is not safe, we did so for the first week of our holiday and... more
