Sadly l have to agree with a review from 2004 who said the location was the reason he marked the Hotel down. Indeed the walk from the Hotel into Vilamoura was scary and especially when you are told a pilot had been mugged and badly beaten only a week... read more

We have stayed in these apartments for many years, always in August. They offer a quiet haven amongst the busy areas of Quarteira and Vilamoura, both of which are within walking distance.

In February very quiet and pleasant. Access to Quarteria takes about 10 minutes walk through residential area to the main road through the town and the beach promenade. Very good beach and restaurants along the promenade.

I’ll cut to the chase - this complex would have got a higher score if it wasn’t for the location. It was set behind the infamous (for the wrong reasons) Atlantis Hotel and at night it was a very dark and risky walk into the marina area even though... read more
