The 5 star portorbello has the wrong star rating. Accommodation in the village part of the hotel where we stopped was adequate, and on first impressions clean and well equipped, but after a 10 night stay the soap/shampoos and shower jells were never replaced so take your... more

Very unfriendly and rude restaurant manager . The food was disgusting. Buffet where you then had to heat your own food up in a microwave. Is that 5*?????? Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.

Just come back from holiday which was great. We found the reception staff tried to be very helpful but spoke very little English. The staff in the dining room did not speak any English at all and were not very friendly. First impression of the hotel is good reception area... more

I thought the hotel was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help, they spoke English very well, and were very personal. What I mean by this is that we have 2 younger kids, and the waiters in the restaurant would always come over and start talking... more

Hotel rooms were of a good size and standard, bathroom was kept very clean with clean towels every day. The hotel lacked atmosphere and was very impersonal, the staff did not speak or understand English when appropriate! Entertainment was promised on two separate occasions... more
