Ola Club Panama

After returning home from a 2 week break I have never been happier to be back home. On arrival we were not greeted by any member of staff we were given a key to our room and that was it.
The rooms were very dull and old fashioned an in desperate need of refurbishment! My aircon didn’t work and the ceiling in the bath room was leaking lots of dirty water I then had to wait 4 days before I got moved! When we came to the restaurant the room was over crowded and full of French people who were very rude.
The food was the same every night all marinade in the same sauce and mainly catered forth French. The pool area was swarming with ants and left over food. The entertainment was in French, some English was spoken but very little and there was no air con were the entertainment was.
The entertainers were very good with the children especially the French but did do a very good job. As my holiday came to an end I was very pleased to return to England and will not be returning to hotel panama again.

Have just returned from a week stay at Panma, will not be returning this holiday cost nearly 2 grand and I feel like we were robbed.
Rooms are small and old fashioned, there is air con and fridge in room, the bathroom was disgraceful it stunk to high heaven and the window open on to the corridor so any body could see in.
The maids did clean everyday, made the beds and clean towels. The pool was small and the sun beds were the type that lie down all the time and don’t sit up and not enough umbrella so no shade. The was a slide which didn’t open till 11 when lifeguard arrived and all she did was speak on the phone and text all day. The food was the same day after day we ate out a lot of the time.
The self service bar was the best thing about this hotel no waiting for drinks and kids could help themselves.
Entertainment staff did their best but it wasn’t brilliant. The hotel is mainly French but all staff do speak English, good job we have been to Mallorca before or we would not have had a clue wait to see and do.
The hotel is also overlooked by 2 other hotels which wasn’t very nice when you have yobs shouting abuse at you from the balcony. All in all if you get this at a bargain price then ok but it was never worth the money we paid it.

I have just returned from an excellent 7 night stay at the Panama along with my wife and 2 children (14 & 9).
The hotel is French owned by the looks of it and the guests were about 80% French but there were still plenty of English people there.
The room was very clean all be it in need of updating as it looked like it hadn't been re furbished since the French revolution. The air conditioning was a God send as it was very warm at night and the fridge was great so we could keep water and pop cool. The maids were in every day and you could change your towels whenever you wanted by leaving on the floor.
The pool area was clean and the pool itself was excellent with a slide and also separate kid’s area. The "Unchaining " of the sunbeds took place at 8:45am but there were still some left at 10am. My tip would be to put your sunbed where the slide is. You don't get the sun until about midday but then it stays all day but most of the rest of the pool area is shaded by 5pm.
The drinks are self service and I never had to queue at all which was surprising as it was packed. The local beer on tap was Dam Estrella which is very good. The plastic cups though are small (Like you'd get in a vending machine) so it's a tip to take a plastic pint or half pint glass to stop loads of trips to the bar. Water is also available in the machines. Snacks are available all day and the food overall was very good but did cater for the French mostly with a hint of garlic on most things!
The staff were very helpful and the entertainment "Animation" team were very good and were always happy even after getting thrown in the pool several times a day.
The beach and bars of Palma Nova are a 5 minute stroll away and for those wanting a bit more action, Magalluf is 15 minutes walk away and will cost about 4 Euros in a taxi. By the way make sure you agree on a price if there is no meter especially from the airport (Don't pay more then 35 euros).

We arrived quiet late at night, the staff were wonderful, they kept the restaurant open a little later for us.
There were 15 of us that went, followed by 5 more 3 days later. It was brilliant, the food was nice, the self service bar is wicked, the kids don’t hassle you, as long as they had shoes on they can get their own.
They serve bar snacks also from 10 am to 11 pm, bread, cheese, ham, salad, cakes, crisps and every drink going. The entertainers are very good, they are around all day, kids games, adult games, they get in the pool with the kids and play games. The entertainment at night was kids disco, quiz, bingo then a show done by the entertainers, but its good.
The hotel was clean, the rooms are clean. Staff are helpful, there is a lot of French guests there, also you can do a handful of water sports that, if you book through the hotel, its only 6 euro instead of 60 euro, that’s for jet skiing. Would go again.

My daughter and myself stayed at the panama for 4 days it was a short break for us both. My daughter Sarah has 5 children so you can imagine how she needed a break. When we arrived the staff were really nice the room was spotless with air con which was free!
The rooms were cleaned every day. The food was lovely there was always something for everyone well presented and hot I have been to quite a few all inclusive and the food has been disgusting and the drinks were self service well never had that before.
All in all it was a lovely break. We liked it so much we are going to book up for next year with the children 9/10 for the Ola Panama.

We arrived at 10.40pm on honeymoon, the check in could not have been easier or the staff more friendly. After being told to leave our luggage at reception , we were told to go through to the bar and snack area as we would get a quick drink and snack as the all inclusive stopped at 11.pm.
The first thing that we noticed was the lack of bar staff, then an English couple told us it was self service and to help ourselves, any drink you could think of was there and beer on tap, heaven, after a long journey and that.
Our room was clean although it could have been done with a lick of paint. The hotel was mainly French guests which was a problem at meal times as every table was taken and I don’t think they have a clue what a queue is, but cant complain about the food it was first class and hot.
Entertainment was good and I must add the staff were excellent with children. All in all would recommend it no problem and we are trying to go back in 2006.very enjoyable.
