I can't beleive some of the negative reviews people have posted, unless it was me they where complaining about, he he!
Where do i start, the bedrooms where great, no problems getting your head down and having a good nights kip, might have something to do with the self service bar though.
Pool is great, its full of water, what more do you want, a sun lounger i hear you ask, just pinch the french's, they wont say nothing, if they do you can't understand them!!
The food, i am a fussy eater, but i found something to eat everyday, starter main and desserts, obviously not cordon blu but if your expecting that, your wouldn't of booked three star hotel in palma nova, your better than us!!
The staff are great, gave us what we needed. Some write they are grumpy and never smile, they did at us, so maybe have a look in the mirror, not many people do smile at folk who think they are better than others!
Facilities where good, always something to do everyday come no rain lots of shine!
P.S Take some paracetamol, the self service bar with any amount of measures that suits you sir, brings a hangover!

the hotel has been given bad feed back on some reviews, but i couldn`t fault it! we just had a week there, the staff were great, pool lovely ,the rooms clean,
food very nice, must admit not loads to choice from but was hot an fresh an very good! my kids age 2 an 5 enjoyed the food.
there was free kids club from 10 till 12.30 an 3 till 5 every day! there was few french guests but again that didnt bother me.
it was only 5 mins walk to beach which it lovely an 5 minutes from bars an shops etc. we got a taxi from airport that only cost 35 euros!
it was a self serve bar which was great as u never had to queue for drinks!! kids could get own etc, it was a very relaxed an friendly hotel an would def go again, an u get what u buy for as it is only a 3star hotel!! some people never happy an complain about everything, but if want a great family holiday go for it!

My husband booked this hotel for our anniversary. The first room we were given stunk of smoke like someone had smoked a 1000 fags and walked out 5 mins earlier. We changed room and had pool view and a bath and shower. When we went for tea that night there wasn't anything I would eat and I'm not a fussy eater. We decided there and then we weren't staying a minute longer. We went for a walk and stumbled across Hotel Bermudas at the bottom of the road. Spoke to the manager who let us see a room and thought don't care how much it costs lets move. HOWEVER THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD PAY ATTENTION - this hotel is part of the Ola Hotel chain which Panama is sister hotel. We moved to Bermudas Hotel as all inclusive at not extra cost which was approved by our tour operator. The Manager of the Bermudas hotel laughed when we told him where we were staying. It is like night and day and god knows how they can class Panama as 3* when the Bermudas is 3* they are worlds apart. So if you arrive at Panama and are happy fine but if you are disappointed like we were, walk to the bottom of the road Hotel Bermudas and change hotels it was really worth it. We had a lovely room and the food was a million times better even the staff were so friendly. Happy holidays.

when i came to this hotel i was lookin forward to a week away there was me and my family we were english the some of the staff was ok but the rest did not want to no you unless you was french the food was unreal i would not even give it to my dog it was all french food the enterment was all french you could not understand it the rooms was poor the shower was cold there was cockrocses all in the dinner hall walkin all over your food do not get me wrong i am used to goin to a 3 star but this was unreal i would never go back there again the only good things was everythin was near bye like the beach and shops the drinks was good as it was get our own but thats it

Just come back from a week at the Panama Hotel.
The hotel is mostly French pensioners, the rest are British Stag & Hen groups whose main aim was to drink as much as they could. They were very intimdating and aggresive, we had not even unpacked our cases before our neighbours (3 rooms of a stag party) was hurling abuse at us from the balcony and threatening to hit my husband. We immediately reported it to the reception who told the group that they would call the police and evict them if any more problems.
The week carried on pretty much the same,as our neighbours were replaced by 3 rooms of hen girls, whose behaviour and language was shaming. In fact even though it was a free bar, we preferred to pay for our drinks in near by bars to avoid the hotel.
The hotel in its self is very dated and the bathroom/shower arrangement is very weird as the window opens onto the corridor and people can look in!
Thomas Cook should not be offering holidays in this type of hotel.
So if this sounds like your kind of holiday enjoy!

Had a great 3 nights at the Panama. The food whilst nothing special was good and the self service bar had everything you need apart from international brands.
The room was good and clean and the cleaner was in everyday.
Mostly French on site but no international hastles.
The only complaint we could have was the noise that came from the younger guests early morning as they returned from the clubs in Magaluf but thats hardly the fault of the hotel.
We certainly would go again.

my wife and i arrived at the club pananma i thought it looks ok mistake.from arriving 3 5 2009 till 8 5 2009 no one spoke to us .receptionists ,waiters ,cleaners not one of them said hello nothing.very french based ,food is nothing much all repeated.snack bar is a joke .bread ,cheese slices and tomato.doughnutsas well.it is clean i will say that. but even when we left no said bye good trip not a word.would stay away brits

just returned from a 2 week holiday and had a great time at this hotel the food was good and the self service bar was great we have been on many all inclusive hols all over the med and cariebean and this hotel is is of a good standard the rooms were a good size.guests at the hotel were good fun dutch and belgin guests
were great some of the french guest were rude. hotel is in a good location and the staff were very friendly except the night porter he expected everyone to be in bed by 12 { i think not } qverall a good holiday value for money.

just got back from callas de mallorca after not being able to go to ola club panama in palma nova. We were gutted it wasnt a patch on the ola club. We stayed here last summer and had a fab holiday the kids were entertained, the food was gr8 fresh and definately worth every penny we paid. Will be booking for next year to go here but book earlier so we get in. Ignore bad reviews they should just pay more and go for 5 star if they are that fussy. I would reccommend it any day. I have just stayed in worse and it werent even that bad just not as good as the ola club.

Just returned from one week all inclusive at the Ola Panama -cant understand any negative reviews on this hotel.The food was gorgeous everyday and plenty of choice.The self service bar was brilliant.The pool was lovely.Our room was big and spacious as was our bathroom and cleaned everyday with fresh towels etc. The staff at the hotel were lovely. The only one negative would be the noisy hotel across the road called the Don Bigote that had alot of young party goers returning noisily in the early hours of the morning but jesus, if I'm going to start complaining about hotels across the road I'm just going to be as bad as those other miserable people writing bad reviews on the Ola Panama. And I'm not miserable when I'm on holiday !. In fact, glad to be healthy and lucky to be able to afford to go on hoilday. All you moaners -take note. I would recommend this hotel -there was a nice mix of French, English and Irish people staying there.
