Dated Hotel, looks daunting both inside and out, staff although were friendly, the hotel was sold with "air conditioning" however there are no rooms that are air conditioned,disappointed with operator which leaves me to leave these comments, room was cramped for our party of 3 the studio was bed and breakfast but with the studio the kitchenette came in handy for snacks and solo cooking, but with a 3rd bed in the room there was no room to actually eat. car parking was a must as Maderia is fairly condensed... 50 mtrs away is a row of eateries which i highly recommend, the italian was always busy but found a space
