yavor palace must be the worst hotel in sunny beach bulgaria itsself is great the weather fantastic most of the people great food in the hotelwas inedible we were served raw chicken twice complaining is no good as hotel staff and first choice dont want to know we had a wheelchair with us that wouldnt fit in the lift concrete round the pool was all broken rails round the pool were unsafe plug sockets were hanging out of the wall the place is a death trap.give this hotel a miss but do go to bulgaria there is something for everyone young and old and please dont travel with first choice there reps in bulgaria are hopeless and rude

I’ve just got back from a week in Bulgaria; I can honestly say it was the worst holiday ever!

The hotel had ants in rooms, the shower was broken and asked the hotel several times to fix it but they didn’t. The food was inedible and the same food over and over again.



The people are ignorant and I went with my mum and mate but wouldn’t ever think of going back with females as the men stare at you and pester you. The hotel didn’t have any entertainment and the pool was shut on the last day for no reason.



First choice also didn’t let us know that it was end of season and everything would be shutting and even the few pubs that were open had toilets with urine on the floor or no toilet paper. Not one person enjoyed are holiday in Yavour Palace and everyone complained about the resort. I wouldn’t land feet in Bulgaria ever again.



It’s a disgusting nasty and dirty place and Yavor certainly isn’t a 3 star!

The hotel was clean enough and the rooms were cleaned and bedding and sheets changed on a regular basis, there was a wide variety of drinks and they were cheap.



Ok, that’s the good points the food was revolting and we ate out after sampling it, the reps weren’t interested and could only say that the food was better than last year!



The only staff who were friendly were the bar staff and the cleaners.

The waitresses and the hotel manager were plain rude to people, we were not made to feel welcome or comfortable and we did not tip for this reason.



There are plenty of beggars on the streets some of them are young children what is going on Bulgaria is now in the EU!

We were constantly harassed some people got aggressive when we refused to give them money or go into their restaurant.



I would not recommend this hotel to anybody there was glass in the pool and nobody gave a flying one. I would not return to Bulgaria or sunny beach.

Just come back from a two week stay at the Yavor Palace Hotel in Sunny Beach.

Had a great time, if you go please say hello to Peter at the pool bar from us, he’s a lovely lad, he needs to practice his English so it would be great if you could spend a bit of your time talking to him. Try and take small denominations in Levs as the staff are not given floats so don’t have change.



We had no problems with the food, they have had an English consultant chef out there to get things right, we could always find something that took our fancy. The staff are very good, rooms clean, and the drinks at the hotel are cheep as long as you stick to the Bulgarian drinks, try the Bulgarian brandy better than any of the French cognacs. It’s a poor country but the people are generous so please be generous with your tips.



The resort closes in the winter and most of the bar and hotel staff are out of work till next summer, they rely on tips.

Golden Yavor is a great place to stop.



No problems very clean very friendly and great food best accommodation anyone could ask for. Would highly recommend it.
