" The Hotel is classed as 4* superior... "

The Hotel is classed as 4* superior and I would agree with it. The rooms are of good size with balconies, the bathrooms vast with good quality fittings. The range and quality of the food is excellent with extensive buffet salad, cold meats, cheeses and deserts.

There was always a choice of hot food with red & white meats and local fish. The only disappointment being the expensive but poor quality wine list. The grounds are beautiful with landscaped pools and plantings and excellent bar/cafe for lunchtimes with view of the uncrowded and unspoilt beach. The indoor spa/gym area has extensive facilities but the pool was unheated on our visit.

The staff are wonderfully attentive and friendly, mostly non-English speaking but that seems fair enough the remoteness of the area. We did not try the vast and beautiful golf course surrounding the village but did try the day trips to Seville and into the nearby Portuguese Algarve and Faro, all of which were good value and enjoyable.

The 4-hour transfer to/from Jerez was a bit of an ordeal but I understand this will be changed next year, hopefully to Faro. Altogether a wonderful holiday with excellent weather, beautiful blue-flagged sandy and shell filled beach and wonderful accommodation.
