Hotel Description:

The Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort & Spa is situated on the edge of a cliff overlooking one of Malta’s most beautiful sandy beaches, Golden Bay. The location commands one of the best sites on the Island of Malta with panoramic views over the bay below and beyond. At the same time it is only a short drive Southwards to St. Pauls Bay and the town of Bugibba and a ten-minute drive northwards to the ferryboat that connects to Gozo, Malta’s sister Island. The original Golden Sands Hotel was built in the 1960s and was operated by the same family until Island Hotels Group purchased the property in January 2003.

The facilities were great and even if it was late in the season, everything was in tip-top shape. And getting away from Valetta is a good idea. If you need to see the town, there are good bus connections.read more
