This hotel was excellent value for money. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. The wellness Centre offered an extensive range of treatments as well as wonderful sauna, steam and SPA facilities.
The hotel was kept very clean. The food was lovely. Very quiet and relaxing especially after a heavy night in San Antonio. Everything about our 4 day break at this Grupotel was fabulous.
We will definitely be visiting again.

Situated on the outskirts of Santa Eulalia it is conveniently located for a quiet holiday away from the famous night life of Ibiza. I'm not sure that the Thomson platinum rating applies as much to this hotel as we have experienced with other hotels with the same rating, but this is probably due to the fact the hotel was fully booked and the position of the room left a lot to be desired. I would recommend requesting a top floor room with pool view, as we were on the ground floor immediately over the entrance to the underground parking where the bins were emptied and deliveries were made early in the mornings, the view was also limited to a wall and fence! But it was a large room with much larger than average bathroom and large balcony. Do not expect to walk straight onto a nice beach. It's a drop onto a load of seaweed!!
The hotel was immaculately clean from foyer to table, as were the rooms including the tiled floors and mirrors etc, with crisp white sheets and lovely pillows although the beds were a little hard for us. There is no tea tray in the rooms, and I do like my late night cuppa so a travel kettle did the job as there is no room service.
The breakfast buffet was great and although I'm a bit of a fussy eater I still found there to be plenty to eat at the dinner buffet although after a fortnight this may start to get a bit boring. I also thought the price of drinks at the bar were comparable with the area and not heavily inflated which you can find with some 4 star hotels.
The staff on reception were very helpful (and spoke very good English), as were the dining room staff, but the bar staff were efficient although sometimes a little overworked so service could be a little slow in this area at times. There was a lovely atmosphere within the hotel and the guests were a good mix of English, German and Spanish.
If you arrive late, there's a lovely little bar called Mangos just outside the hotel for a nightcap and this is open late but does not seem to cause any disruption to the calm of the hotel. We didn't use public transport but there did seem to be plenty of buses passing the main road just a short walk away, or it's about a twenty minute stroll to the edge of the marina. If you like to get out and about I would recommend a car. The hotel is situated along the road signposted to Es Canar, or Sant Carles where there is a hippy market. One of the best beaches we've seen was at Sant Vicente, with a couple of hotels, and some good restaurants and cafeterias. The sea here is fun if you like rolling waves, but if you want a calmer sea for the children, check out Portinax, which is a little larger and has two sheltered coved beaches, again with good sand. Dalt Vila in Ibiza Town is delightful, well worth a visit during the day, and extremely vibrant at night.
All in all, I would be happy to stay in this hotel again, but would definitely splash out for a pool view, and opt for a bed and breakfast, as there are far too many restaurants around to not enjoy more variety.
