Just got back from Can Sanso this week. The apartments are spotless as is the rest of the site. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our apartment was not quite ready and we were given a free drink while we waited which was only about 30 mins. The one and only critiscism I have is that the pool would benefit from a handrail at the step end as the drop into the water is quite large even for adults. Entertainment is provided every night except Monday and it was very enjoyable. There is a courtesy room if you need to vacate the apartment on day of departure and it is also kept spotless with clean towels, showers and a seating area. The apartments are a good 15-20 minute walk from the town centre if you walk at a normal pace. I would avoid 'restaurant street' as the prices are hiked and the food is not that good. We found plenty of places to eat on the front promenade of St Eulalia ranging from Italian to good old fish and chips! Personally I prefer Greece to Ibiza but if I could take the Can Sanso apartments with me I would be 100% happy!

great appartments very clean and spacious.
pool and surrounding areas were excellent, staff very helpful
best restaurant on island is the saint carles restarant in St carles which is a 5 minute drive fron san canso all fresh ingredients all cooked in front of you
food on site was of good quality and a fair price
only moan about the appartments was the German mentality of the English guests who got up early approx 6am to lay their towells out on the sunbeds around the pool every day and the best bit of it was they then went back to bed till 11am ish, how I did not throw their towells in the water I dont know, The management must stop this practice happening its very very annoying.
Avoid eating any where near the Marina its a complete rip off
Get a car and visit the beaches we did over 10 different ones and some were excellent
Es Cana is okay
Portinax has clear water
Carla longa is not worth a visit their is nothing there,
Ibiza ( Evissa ) town is really nice
Would return if they sort out the towell situation
just come back from c'an sanso...

Just returned from 2 weeks stay at the C'an Sanso.
Accomodation is excellent and staff are really friendly.
Santa Eulalia is a 15-20 minute walk away with Bora Bora beach closer by.
This is great for familys and couples alike. The entertainment is on most of the week from 10pm. Some of it is a bit naff but nothing a few beers and a bit of light heckling can't solve. Be on the look out for the Lion King!!! Highly recommended.

Just had a week at can sanso apts. 2 adults and 11 yr old had one bed apt. daughter does not like to sleep in lounge area so managed with a bit of furniture removal to get the bed from under the sofa into the bedroom - made it a bit cramped but meant living area kept as that. apts clean and staff very friendly if a little bit dated. Supermarket in back car park very handy open in mornings till 1.30 and then from 5.30 till 8. Some entertainment in evenings starting at 10 some good some not so good. the apts are about a 15-20 min walk from sta eulalia along a busy road which was the only downside - however a taxi cost abou 5 euros and they will order one fron the apt bar for you which arrives within minutes and makes the journey into town about 4 mins. very easy to get taxi back in evening from main square. We did walk most of the time and once you get into town turn left and it takes you down to the harbour and the start of restaurants and the walk around to the beaches. Plenty of places to eat here and also on restaurant street we enjoyed can a ribes restaurant. restaurant street is walk into town and keep straight on through the mainroad, past the police station and then turn right - it is signposted. the italian is very very very slowwwwwww service.
great family apts, small but friendly complex, no noise from the road at apts but just be aware of the walk but don't let it put you off.

Stayed from 29th Sept-13th Oct.
We really enjoyed our two weeks stay at the C'an Sanso apartments; from the moment we arrived we were shown to our excellent room by Alain who is one of the people looking after the place, to the sad moment we left.
Our apartment was very well equipped with fridge freezer, full sized oven, microwave, kettle, iron and roof and desk fans. We also had a fantastic vantage point on the ground floor about 10 metres away from the pool and 20 metres away from the bar area which was really good to keep an eye on our 12 year old boy playing in the pool and playing pool.
All of the staff we found very friendly even the maid who cleaned our room every two days and each time commented (in Spanish) how beautiful our 5 month baby daughter is with her blonde hair and chunky thighs.
The entertainment was good with various acts from 10pm most nights, we could enjoy from our terrace whilst our baby was sleeping.
We did find the pool on the cool side but it was the end of September and into October, this didn't stop my son and I having fun late in the afternoon till the evening nearly every day!
The walk into Santa Eulalia was about 10 mins and we enjoyed it each time (good exercise) except for once when caught in a storm. Santa Eulalia is lovely with many fine Tapas bars and restaurants, ice cream parlours and an excellent Indian restaurant on the sea front.
The best local beach we found was Bora Bora beach which is 15 mins walk left on the main road out of the apartments.
C'an Sanso crazy golf was tough but we saw this as a challenge and enjoyed every game!
The food at C'an Sanso was much same as you'll find at any Spanish bar really, we did enjoy the swordfish steak, veggie lasagne and many various sandwiches, and of course the chilled Estrella.
The weather was mixed with rainy days (not that many) combined with red hot days (38c we recorded on our terrace one day), and impressive thunder storms.
I would advise hiring a car and seeing some of the Island, we went to San Antonio, Cala Longa, and Portinatx and it really does open the eyes to how beautiful Eivissa really is.
We would definitely return to C'an Sanso Aptos maybe not next year though think we'll wait till our daughter is a little older, but we really did enjoy our holiday it was one of the best.

I have just got back from here. This was my second visit to the resort and both times it has been amazing! The apartments are very well kept and a good size and the fact that you are shown to your room immediately is fantastic. In some reviews people have said there was a smell, but I have been twice and have smelt nothing of that sort.
As I am 16, I came with my family, which consisted of my mum, dad, brother, sister and me. These apartments and complex are extremely family orientated with something for everyone. Mini golf, table tennis, pool, a swimming pool and more.
The staff are so friendly and strive to help in any way they can. That is what made my holiday so enjoyable. Also in this complex because of the closeness you can’t help but get to know everyone and miss them all when you leave.
The 15 minute walk into town isn’t as bad as some have made out. Yes, there is not a lot of shade but when you go on holiday you come for the sun so enjoy it! The restaurants are fantastic and the waiters really friendly. La Tavernetta is my favourite, it’s excellent.
The entertainment at the apartments is put on every night without fail and as they are rotated on a two week basis you are guaranteed not to see one twice. They usually start around 10pm and last for approximately an hour.
The food at the hotel is great, you can’t fault it! The service is also top notch. We rented a car for three days and it was a very good price and car, and the fact that the hotel arranges everything for you is great. We got to visit Ibiza town, Portinax, and the Water Park Aquamar which is fantastic!
I can honestly say that staying at the C'An Sanso Apartments has made my two holidays to Ibiza the most enjoyable ones yet!

We stayed at the C'an Sanso apartments for 1 week in August, Myself, partner and his two children, had a fab time.
Apartments are great we had a two bedroom for the four of us and there was plenty of space. We had top floor apartment with pool view it was brill.
The resort itself is great, quiet compared to other resorts but that’s what we liked.
We stayed by the pool most of the week as the kids made loads of friends at the apartments, but we also went to the bora bora beach which was good.
The town itself is good with plenty of restaurants to eat in, can highly recommend the Chinese on restaurant row, and daffers food was great.
The entertainment at hotel is good especially for kids; they had parrot show, fire eater, and magician.
We had a fab hol and will definitely return in future. Can highly recommend these apartments and resort to anybody.

Just returned from Santa Eulalia and the Can Sanso apartments.
Had a wonderful time, apartment was excellent.. much bigger than I expected. The apartments are geared around families, but as a couple, we didn't feel 'left out' of anything. The staff were excellent, friendly and really made you feel welcome.
Santa Eulalia was great, with hundreds of places to eat and some great shops. No there aren't any Nightclubs, but then.. if you want that there's San Antonio bay for the clubbers.
I think the lack of 'clubs' makes the town so much more appealing. Spoke to several people who said that S.E was definitely the best resort.. having visited Es Cana and Ibiza town I am inclined to agree. If you like Blackpool you'll love the tackiness of Es Cana, but then you could go to Blackpool and save your cash for a few turns on a sunbed!
The can Sanso apartments were well placed, a short walk to town but far enough out so that you can relax away from the crowds.
Go to BORA BORA BEACH rather than the main beach in town, as it can get crowded at peak times, and everyone seems to be sitting on top of each other. Bora bora is out of the apartments and left then 10 mins down the road...10 Euros for a lounger all day, two bars and restaurants on the beach and less crowds by far!
Loved the break.. would pay double to do it again!

We have just returned from 2 great weeks at the C'an Sanso.
The apartments were really well equipped compared to some we have stayed at. They had all you could wish for on a self catering holiday, a full size oven (not that we really ate in, apart from breakfast), microwave, fridge, iron and the real bonus was an ironing board (you know how hard it is trying to iron your clothes on a table).
There was a ceiling fan in the bedroom and a fan in the lounge, a must when the temperature is 95 degrees. The maids came in every 2 days to clean and change the towels and sheets.
Alain, who seems to run the place, is a really nice fella with a dry sense of humour that I don't think everyone understood, but I thought he was funny. Emma who works in the bar is also really nice and very helpful when it comes to tips on getting around the island.
There was a fair choice of food served in the bar and was of a reasonable standard, chips with everything though. There was entertainment almost every night, and no repeats over the 2 weeks we were there. Some of the acts were a bit 'iffy', but it was free so who cares. The whole complex was well laid out with a nice pool area, minigolf and a children’s play area. It is a small and friendly complex and it's easy to get to know everyone while you are there.
As per previous posts, there is a bit of a walk into the main town (about 15 minutes) but it's not as bad as some have made out. We nicknamed the road Lizard Lane and our children had a competition when we went along the road to see how many lizards they could see. The best they did was 25, beat that if you can.
The main area of Santa Eulalia is more Spanish like than Es Canar and Calla Longa, which are a bit more touristy. If you go to the sea front and harbour area there are plenty of restaurants to chose from, and you have a great view while you are eating. If you go one street back from the main road, there is a street called restaurant row with a great choice of places to eat 'el fresco'.
Just a 5 minute walk from C'an Sanso is Mango's Bar. This place is right at the waters edge and great for a chill out at night. They have entertainment occasionally, the best we saw was a fella called Dutch Frankie who has a great story about meeting Roy Orbison in Las Vegas. He was that bad, that he was good, if you know what I mean, and a must see.
We hired a car for a day and managed to take in the whole island. Portinax and San Migel in the north of the island are quite picturesque. There is a water park with 5 slides that belongs to a hotel in Portinax that you can get in for 12 euros for adults and 6 euros for kids. We went to the caves at San Migel which were OK, but the views from the cave tour waiting area were quite stunning. We caught the bus a couple of times, once to Es Canar (1.25 euros each), and once to Ibiza Town (3.3 euros return) which is great value and the service is pretty good.
We would definitely recommend Ibiza for a holiday and we would definitely go back to the C'an Sanso.

We are just back from C'an Sanso and we had a brilliant time.
We had a one bedroom apartment and it was nice and spacious, and even had an iron and ironing board. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed etc every other day, it’s the cleanest apartment we've stayed in.
Down in the bar the staff are just fabulous, really friendly and up for a laugh. Because it’s relatively small you get to know people and there's only 1 entrance out of the grounds so you know the little ones are fine down in the park or at the mini golf or table tennis.
The evening entertainment is pretty much what you'd expect on a package holiday not the best in the world but in fairness it’s great for kids.
Santa Eulalia itself is quite Spanish and Es Cana is more geared round the tourists, there's loads of different places to eat in both places and we didn't have a bad meal (it’s quite cheap).
Its also worth looking round the island, Ibiza is actually quite small and if you hire a car you can easily do the island in a day (make sure you see the sunset from the west coast and the beach at Cala Llonga is great too)
2 places we would highly recommend - Mango's bar which is about 500m from C'an Sanso - across the main road and down the street. Its a beach front cafe with beautiful views and free sun beds. The best thing about Mango's though has got to be Dutch Frankie - he sings there a couple of nights a week, the man is a legend and well worth a visit! Secondly we went to Daffers restaurant in Santa Eulalia town (its on Restaurant Row on the map that the rep gives you at the welcome meeting). We really did wish we had been there earlier in the holiday - its lovely food and service and really reasonable prices too.
Just 3 (small) negatives...I had read previous reviews and was a bit worried about smells and to be honest we did smell something from time to time, usually in the morning but it wasn't constant and I certainly wouldn't say it ruined my holiday (I've been to places that smelt much worse).
Another thing was the traffic noise - we had an apartment facing the road and it is quite a busy road so is noisy. Lastly as everyone else mentioned its a 10 minute walk to Santa Eulalia with no shade. That said there’s buses every half hour (1.25 euros each) or you can get a taxi for less than 5 euros.
Would definitely go back!

We got back from the C’an Sanso this morning! I thought that the apartments were big and clean with an excellent pool area. The food and entertainment were very good - especially enjoyed the comedian and the fire eater!
The apartments have everything that you need - apart from decent air-con! We had an apartment facing the busy road, but it never bothered my two children (aged 3 + 5), it woke me a couple of times but this was because it was too hot and I needed the door open for air.
I wouldn't go back - but that's because of the location. I didn't rate Santa Eulalia and enjoyed 'Es Cana' more. You can catch a bus just across from the apartments for 1.25 euro's each, under fives travel free.
But I can honestly say that all the reviews are spot on and finally - there is NO smell at all.

I got back from c'an sanso apartments a few hours ago it’s my 2nd time there as I went last year and it’s the most amazing place ever.
I loved it and all the staff are so friendly and make you feel very welcome I have enjoyed it so much, so much that I cried on the way home. It’s the best experience you will ever have and well if you don't believe me then you will have to go and see for yourself!
I am 15 years of age and it was awesome I can ensure you that if you have sons or daughters around the same age range they will love it.
