Happy times!!
Stayed at these apartments for the first 2 weeks in June. Not far from the airport. The apartments, have a lot to offer considering its quite a small complex. We had a 2 bedroomed apartment which was very spacious and lots of equipment in the kitchen ie. Microwave fridge/freezer/toaster. There is a reasonable restaurant on site if you dont fancy the walk into Santa Eulalia (which varies from 15mins to 40 mins!!!). Dont ask why?? There is a bus stop on the main road which takes you to either SE centre or to Es Cana the other way. There is entertainment at the hotel on most nights - it starts about 10pm, although its not fantastic, the kids still enjoyed it and its a good way of getting to know your neighbours!!! Ibiza is a lovely island so try and get out and about, if you dont hire a car you can still use the bus which goes SE to most parts of the island.
really good holiday !!
well we went to ibiza can sanso apartments 4 years ago and we still go now we go every year . we are going in july on the 5th 2008 . cant wait 8 weeks to go !! any one who comes to these apartments you are sure to have a great holiday . the bar staff , the pool , the massive apartments , park , golf course is just great ..
Perfect place for a relaxing holiday
Have just returned from 2 lovely weeks at Can Sanso apartments, we have not done self-catering for a few years and this will definately be the beginning of many more... The apartments are spacious and clean and have everything you need. I would recommend a pool facing room if poss - although we didnt have one and were'nt particularly bothered - their location is better. Santa Eulalia is a fab place, I would say upmarket, lots of lovely places to eat - all budgets, super beaches, it has a nice feel about the place. We did the bus several times in to Ibiza town - very easy and cheap, the cathedral - with fabulous views and the Dalt Villa - all free. We went to San Antonio twice for sunsets and caught several taxi boat's - including the hippy market (avoid morning - it's too busy)... worth a look. 2 weeks was not long enough and we will return without doubt. The apartments were occupied by mainly families but not all with children. Our teenage daughter flew out with her boyfriend to join us for the second week and they too really enjoyed their holiday. There is a walk into the town - which could be a drag if your lazy but it wasnt a problem for us at all...

Satisfactory stay in the C'an Sanso Apartments
We travelled to the C'an Sanso apartments at the end-of-the-season. A good base for sight-seeing, but we would have got a little bored if we were restricted to the apartments all week. Accommodation We when arrived with Thomson at the apartments, the night-porter joked he had not seen the Thomson rep for months, and then gave us an incorrect time for the welcome briefing, and as a result we missed the start of the meeting the following day. We stayed in a reasonable ground-floor apartment on the corner, which was sometimes noisy at night, although the entertainment tended to stop at around midnight. The kitchen was excellent and contained a microwave, kettle & toaster. The apartment also contained an iron. The beds were not much better than camp beds, and difficult to sleep on. The living area was pleasant and clean. However, our toilet seemed to leak and we mentioned this at the bar, but it was still not fixed. The shower curtain was also a yellow-ish colour with dirt and we mentioned this to the cleaner, but nothing was done. Having said this, we may have experienced an apartment not as good as the others, as we encountered another couple who were highly satisfied with their apartment. The food served in the restaurant mainly focused around chips and ketchup. My Fiancée asked for a baked potatoe with cheese, and what arrived was barely larger than a kiwi-fruit with no salad. The restaurant had a continual smell of chips. During the latter part of the week, there was an apparent smell of waste. Luckily as we stayed at the end of the season, we could close our windows and doors. The apartment block was a 15 minutes’ walk to the centre of St. Eulalia, which was a nice town. After visiting other towns, we were glad we stayed in St. Eulalia. St Eulalia Has a nice promenade to walk along, and there is also a very nice marina. There are tourist shops, but not so many as it’s over-powering. There are also lots of shops behind the habour, which serve the local people and tourists. If you like shoes, then this is your place. There is also a street called “Restaurant Row “, which was very good and served food for all tastes, and contained a number of restaurants. We would visit St. Eulalia again as we had a great holiday, but not stay at these apartments again. Other places to visit (day trips): Ibiza old town, Es Canar, Portinax, San Antonio
lacks good location
Just got back from 2 weeks at can sanso and had a fabulous holiday. Weather was excellent and accomodation clean and spacious with excellent night time entertainment. Apartments well equipped with all mod cons and ceiling fans in all bedrooms which were very efficient. The on site supermarket is poor considering no facilities in imediate vicinity. and bed linen only changed once in a fortnight, but had fresh towels ever 2 days. The biggest dissapointment to the holiday was in factthe location which although warned about in the brochure it still doesnt prepare you for the 15 min walk to town/beach (2x day if going to both for day and nightime entertainment) and with 2 puschairs. If theses apartments were in the town or closer to the beach then i would have no problems recommending them but due to location i woulfd have to say book with caution and be prepared with good sensible shoes and plasters!!!! Staff were freindly and helpful and nice little complex. I would not go back but then dont tend to go back to the same places anyway. As long as you are prepared for the location you should find you have a good base for your holiday - just be prepared for the sewage smell that overwhelms the complex from time to time.
Good apartments, but take comfortable shoes for walking!
Had a week here in mid-July, for a reasonable price of £390 for a 2 bedroomed apartment (accom only). The apartments are very nice, and extremely spacious, clean and well equipped, but the lack of air con, coupled with ours facing a busy road, meant that sleep was often disturbed. The pool could also get crowded and sometimes we found it difficult to find a sunbed. It was also a good 20 minute walk to get to the Marina or slightly further to town centre, for a choice of restaurants or even a supermarket other than the one on site (not so good if you wanted to buy a watermelon, without a car, as the shop on site did not sell fruit!). There are a good choice of restaurants in Santa Eulalia, but we found most had a similar menu, although pleasant; we went to Daffers in "restaurant street" once, which I would not recommend, as we found the food quality to be very poor, and were not offered any recompense except another main course, having suffered our way through, (and to add insult to injury, had someone elses drinks on our bill at the end!). If you can can a good price and don't mind a walk, good accommodation.
loved every minute of it
We went to Ibiza in August last year me and my wife and 2 children. It was exellent we stayed in santa Eulalia we were just a ten minute walk from the center and the beach there is lots to do there for kids. There is a water park for the kids it was brill we stayed all day my problem beening could not get my wife of the slides. The weather was lovely and sunny and hot. We stayed at the Can sanso Apartments for a fornight and it was great. The hotel had entertainment every night and the music had to be off for 12.30. Its was good because it meant you got a good nights sleep. There is a lovely beach a restraunt called BoraBora not far from the hotel it well worth a visit. We went to Ibiza town and it was just getting dark the scenery that we seen there was excellent. I would recomend Ibiza to anyone of all ages there is somthing for every one. We went on one of the big boats there and it took u to different parks of Ibiza and the glass bottom boat was good too. I would definatly go back.
Out of town location.
This is definately a place for families and kids, nothing wrong with that at all. In fact it was very quiet at night after the 11 o'clock entertainment shut down in the bar/swimming pool area. We arrived there midweek with Thomson but had to hang around for two hours as our room was not ready despite the booking. This turned out to be a blessing really as we decided to go for a walk down to the main road. There is a sign there with 'Mangos Beach Bar' on it. This leads to a gem of a place not found anywhere else in the area. A beautiful spot with sunbeds, beach bar, cafe, all hidden behind trees. The beds are free all day as long as you're a customer at the cafe or bar. No problem there then, the champagne sangria was delightful, (you would need to ask for the Gruphotel, its right next to it). However the apartments are a bit of a walk to the town centre of Santa Eulalia, about 15 minutes minimum along the main Es Canar road. We hired a jeep (next to Mangos beach bar) and toured the island in a day. Never new Ibiza was so fabulous in parts. We also went on the catamaran trip called Premier Sailing and that was fantastic. They take you to the most gorgeous of beaches with snorkelling, and they do an excellent BBQ on board, as much soft drinks or beer as you want. We thought Santa Eulalia was the best spot for most things really. Its not a banging rave place, you can get the bus for that scene if you want but there are plenty of restaurants and bars. I would like to go back sometime but I would choose a better hotel personally.
